"Blaine? " a gritty voice broke through the nothingness, a voice that I knew well and sought comfort in.
I fored my eyes open, and Trent's face came into focus, his soft eyes full of concern.
"Fuck Blaine, what the hell happened? "
I opened my mouth to reply, but I had so little strength, I decided against it. My head was throbbing and I could taste blood in my mouth.
"Being the genius that he is, Blainey-pie probably wandered straight into all-out war. " I looked past Trent, into the hazy distance. Sebastian was skulking on the opposite side of the street, tall and slim. His eyes were cold and piercing, visible even to me.
I had never liked Sebastian too much. He was clever- Too clever for me, for everybody. And he used that to his advantage. Nobody liked him, well Trent being the only exception. I have no idea what he saw in him, but they did everything together. Loveable, good-humored Trent and Fox-like Sebastian. The most unlikely pair.
He was sauntering over to me then, and as I winced whilst Trent attempted to hoist me up off of the floor, he snickered, almost silently.
"Oh Blainers. What have you done? " he sneered.
I hadn't a clue what he was talking about.I ahd landed myself in a fight. No big deal. Happens all the time. I followed his gaze to a spot on the footpath behind me. The worn grey concrete had been stained a bright scarlet. Was that my blood?
