*1999 Thursday 11:47p.m Lima Hospital

"Daddy? Where are we going?" Kurt asked as he was being carried out of his room and into the car. Burt Hummel had just got A call from Lima Hospital infroming him his wife, Elizabeth had been in a car accident and she was on life support, but not for long. Burt thought about how hard it was going to explain to Kurt that his mommy might not be coming home, ever agin, and it was hard with Kurt only being six and knowing he wont fully understand why he mommy isnt there. He didnt want to belive it. He wanted to belive it was all a bad dream, But Kurt snapped him out of his thoughts repeating the question.

"We're going to visit mommy" Burt said as clamly as he could, but his voice got the best of him.

"Where's Mommy at?" Kurt said as they pulled into the Hospital parking lot. Burt parks the car, gets Kurt and heads for the main doors. He checks in with the Nurse infroming him on who he was and who was going to see. The Nurse tells Burt to go to room 209 on floor three. On there Kurt starts asking more questions.

"Where's Mommy?"

"Why is Mommy here?"

"Why isnt Daddy awnsering me?" Burt simply awnsered Kurt by telling him that his Mommy was on the thrid floor waiting for them. He didnt really know if she was still alive or not but like the Nurse that called had said, She wasnt gonna be on life support for long. So when He reached room 209 on the thrid floor, He opened the door and saw Elizabeth, still breathing and slighty awake. Burt puts Kurt down and walks slowly up to her as she smiles and grabs Kurts hand.

"Mommy!!" Kurts said excited to see her, jumping up and down till she picked him up.

"Hey sweetie" She said as softly as she could. "I need to talk to you, is that okay?" Kurt nodded and with that said Burt left the knowing what she about to tell Kurt.

Before Elizabeth could say aother word, Kurt said "Your not comming home, are you?"

"No honey,Im not. I got into a really bad car accident and my body hurts everywhere." Kurt cut her off before she could say anything eles

"If your body hurts, do you want me to get down?"

"No, I wanna hold you one more time before I go." With that said Kurt hugged her tight and starting crying. When Burt saw Kurt crying, He knew what was said and came back into the room.

Kurt mumbled through the tears and said "I love you". She said I love back and with that done Kurt cryed himself to sleep on his mothers chest within about five minutes."You know" She said "There taking me off life support in about.." she looked at the clock "15 minutes".

"Elizabeth, I love you" he got down on one and leaned over to her and Kurt. "I'll always love at that and I wish that you could stay longer and be there for Kurt as he gets older an-" she cut him off. "I know, I know, I wanna be there to but god has a better place for me and I know, when the time comes I'll see you and Kurt agin" Burt let alone tear role down his face and wiped it way, which only follwed with more.

"Now take Kurt and go home. I dont want you gus to be here when they take me off life support. Burt took Kurt and Kissed Elizabeth one last time. "I love you" he said opening the door, Seeing three doctors come in. "I love too" were her last words before the pulled the plug. Before The room door closed him heard the monator stop, and go into the long continous beep.
