Author's Notes: Wow, that's seriously awkward. I didn't mean: not said endings.*I meant, no sad endings. which might be a lie.*or not.:) Hope you enjoy the chapter! Let's get those reads up shall we?

Kurt brushed his thinning chestnut hair away from his face in front of the flat, cold mirror in front of him. He noted that his skin was shining a radiant white, porcelain. Kurt felt like a doll, a living creature with no actual life flooding through him. The pain, the chemo, the cancer, the little time he had left was all what Kurt was now. He was no longer music, fashion and a glowing soul. He was a dying corpse residing in the middle of a cemetary.

There was a sharp knock on the door, and Kurt could see Nurse Amelia's face smiling at him through the large window. Without further hesitation, she walked inside huddling the computer-on-wheels as she came in. Kurt knew what this meant, more medication before chemo tomorrow, and sat down in his bed. She left for a while, and Kurt waited for her return.

Since this was a children's hospital and Kurt was nearly 17, he was expected to be transferred to the young adult's ward a few flights above by next year. If Kurt lived that long.

Kurt's room was personalized for him, to offer a comfortable feeling since he was forced to live here until he got better. The walls were filled with pictures of Broadway productions, mostly Wicked, and other people he truly admired. A noteboard hang on the wall next to his television, with old pictures of him with his group of friends at school. The Glee Club rarely ever came to visit him, they would be graduating soon. Without Kurt. He was completely devestated when they came in a few months before with the large National's trophy, and with huge tales of happiness from each member. Kurt felt touched they wanted to share that with him, but it only made him feel less important than he already was.

Kurt Hummel had plans, before his illness struck him at 15. He was going to be a broadway star, or even a fashion designer. Move to the wonderous city of New York and fufull his dreams with his best friend, Rachel Berry. But when the blood-tests came back confirming he had Luekemia, everything changed. The life he once knew and treasured was washed away completely, turned down a spriling path of confusion and a unfamiliar road ahead.

His father, Burt, insisted that he recieve treatment at home, Carole taking care of him daily because of her experience with nursing. Kurt stayed in school for a while, hoping that he would be able to stick around long enough for graduation, but eventually he became too ill to even make it to the bus in the morning. Hoping to continue with his treatment to regenerate him even quicker, his father agreed to shipping him off to Lima Children's Hopsitals' cancer ward. However, Kurt didn't mind being in the hospital as much as he thought he did. Kurt had texting privleges, so he of course kept in touch with his friends that way. But he also made new ones here, and everybody was so caring and happy to interact. One of the worst parts was when someone passed away, so when David died only a few days ago, Kurt became even more lonely. There was just one thing Kurt missed the most out of all of this. He realized he would never experience love, never have a boyfriend to kiss or to do anything together. That's what hurt Kurt that most. That he would never be normal in that sense, he would die a virgin in 3 different areas: Kissing, Sexual, and even dating. He never even got the chance to hold another boy's hand, the sweet reassurance of love and comfort rushing along with the actual touch.

His education was still fulfilled though. Kurt enjoyed it, it was one life-line he had to the real world, besides television and other technologies he had. Two hours a day Kurt would spent gaining knowledge on varying subjects, from the basic math to medieval England. The rest of his day consisted of him recieving medication, therapy, or laying in his room waiting for something exciting to happen. That never came. Until one day, Kurt heard the loud, gorgeous singing of a mystery soul. Rarely did Kurt ever descend from his room unless forced too, but this voice dragged him toward the source like the gates of Heaven.

So when Kurt captured the eyes of a heavenly creature strumming away on an acoustic guitar and harmonizing along with the younger children, his heart fluttered wildily in his chest. This was a chance Kurt new he had to take advantage of, a new boy moving in? Kurt's hopes were instantly crushed when he noticed the lack of wires in his arms, his full head of lucious curls and normal clothing placed upon the body.

After a few moments of staring at the soul, Kurt noticed Nurse Amelia and moved back to his cell of Room 575.

When the crowd of children around him descended away, Blaine began to pick up his things and gather them into his back-pack. After zipping up his guitar case and picking it up in his hand, he made his way out to his car. However, Blaine Anderson had no desire to leave just yet. It was only 5:40 and Blaine wanted to figure out who that boy was. Something about him intrigued Blaine, his lovely face captured Blaine whole-heartedly.

As he locked his car back up, he jogged to the staff door he came out of. Blaine had been coming for 3 weeks now, so he was fairly accustomed to a few of the nurses who worked there. Granted, most of them tried to flirt with Blaine, but being gay, he politely declined. One of the ladies he was most familiar with, Sarah, greeted him and told him his display was once again great. Suddenly, an idea struck Blaine.

Blaine chuckled. "Thanks, Sarah. I have a question." He looked at her, and she returned with a curious stare.

"Hmm?" She said, while gesturing to a few chairs in the lobby.

They walked over, then he began, attempting to make his tone seem more curious and less anxious.

"Well, when I was singing. I saw someone new? I guess. I've never seen him before, but he came out of Room 5-" He started, but was quickly interupted.

"575. That's Kurt Hummel," Sarah laughed a little, but then smiled. "His name is Kurt. He's certainly not new though. He's been here for about a year now. Luekemia. He's holding on really strong though. I'm not supposed to share this, but I think that he'll be better fairly soon. Why the sudden interest?" She asked, a smile forming on her lips.

"I've just never seen him before.." He said as he gazed over to the room that contained the boy in question.

"Do you want to meet him? I don't think he's doing anything right now." She smiled again as she noticed another nurse, Amelia, walking out of the room with the I.V cart.

"Sure." He stood up, but began fidgeting with his hair. He didn't think to gel it down today, and it was incredibly curly. Blaine felt embarassed, he wanted to make a good first impression.

"Oh stop that, you always look handsome." She didn't look back at him, but instead knocked on the door.

"Yes?" Blaine heard another voice from behind the door, and God was it stunning.

"Kurt? It's Sarah. Do you mind if I come in?" She waited patiently, waving to Kurt through the window that Blaine couldn't see.

Blaine figured that Kurt must've nodded, because she opened the door and gestured for Blaine to follow.

When Blaine walked in, he was awestruck. The walls were filled with posters, a stereo residing in the corner on the other side of the room. There was a bookcase, a television and a sewing machine along with a rack of creations.

"Hello, Kurt. I have someone who would like to meet you." He walked over and hugged Sarah, careful to not fidget his wires, and then moved over toward Blaine.

"Hi. I'm Kurt Hummel." The boy flashed a gorgeous smile, and reached his hand out to shake.

Blaine realized he must be burning a bright red color, as the boy's glasz irises burned into Blaine's golden ones. He grabbed Kurt's hand, and shook it firmly.

"H-hi. I'm Blaine..Blaine Anderson."
