The rain pitter-pattered outside and boys in prep uniforms scurried to their dorms to escape the oncoming storm. Blaine took all of this in from the window of his 3rd story dorm room. He turned back to face Kurt and sighed in exasperation.
"I'm sorry," he mumbled, walking over to plop next to Kurt on the bed. "I had this huge thing planned but... well, thunderstorms aren't exactly the best weather for paintball."
Kurt laughed breathily. "Look," he began, interlacing his hand with Blaine's, "while I find yor plan to recreate every date scene from your favorite romantic comedies alphabetically extremely endearing, I'm not a huge fan of washing paint out of my hair anyway." He kissed Blaine on the nose in reassurance.
Blaine still wasn't convinced. "But Heath Ledger is so romantic and sexy when he grabs Julia Stiles and kisses her in the hay and I wanted-" He couldn't finish, finding it incredibly embarrassing to admit that he wanted Kurt to find him sexy. He opted instead for turning away to pout some more.
"Well, I already find you incredibly sexy," Kurt whispered as if he could tell what Blaine was thinking. Blaine looked up to find his boyfriend staring dreamily at him. They'd only been dating for a few weeks, but everything was already so intimate and... right with Kurt. Blaine smiled halfheartedly.
"I have the perfect replacement date for a rainy day!" Kurt continued, practically leaping from the bed. Blaine eyed him bemusedly as he shuffled through the small collection og DVDS on the bookshelf beside Blaine's bed. Most of them were Kurt's, who now spent more time in Blaine's dorm than his own.
Kurt spun around on his heel, holding a red DVD case and smiling in anticipation. Blaine grinned warmly at him.
He hadn't watched it since the first time with Kurt.
"We've already seen that," Blaine offered, though he knew that was no way to convince Kurt against the idea. Of course, he wasn't exactly trying to.
"Well, I figure we'll only be watching about half of it anyway," Kurt rasped, and Blaine was suddenly much more intrigued.
-----
"Oh, oh wait!" Kurt exclaimed, pulling away from where Blaine's tongue was currently exploring his mouth. He looked at the screen where Ewan McGregor was now singing.
Never knew I could feel like this...
Blaine took the opportunity to suck on the soft skin at the juncture of Kurt's neck and jaw. Kurt swatted him away and Blaine grumbled in frustration, resting his forehead against Kurt's shoulder. He turned his head to look at the laptop that had been shoved to the edge of his bed. Kurt snuggled in closer and sighed, taking Blaine's hand.
"What?" Blaine inquired, worried that something had set Kurt off.
"This is my favorite song," Kurt admitted quietly. Blaine took a moment to digest this. A heavy warmth began bubbling in his stomach and he found it hard to suppress a smile as he realized the implication of Kurt's intimacy during this confession. Kurt wanted this with Blaine.
Suddenly, Blaine pushed Kurt back on the bed and started pressing frantic kisses all over his face and neck.
"Blaine!" Kurt screeched in surprise. "St-stop!" He attempted to push Blaine off, but gave up as he collapsed into a fit of giggles at the butterfly kisses tickling his neck. Blaine pulled back enough to search Kurt's eyes, which were lit up with gleeful excitement. Blaine smiled and lowered his head slowly, exhaling into Kurt's mouth. He revelled in the tiny hiccup of air Kurt sucked in as Blaine's breath breezed lightly over his skin. Blaine's eyes danced down to Kurt's mouth, slightly open and already swollen from making out. He closed his eyes and slowly pressed his mouth over Kurt's. Kurt moaned and Blaine took the chance to snake his tongue past Kurt's lips, coaxing him to open his mouth more and deepen the kiss.
Blaine dragged his hands down Kurt's sides, resting them on his hips and allowing himself to press the entirity of his weight against Kurt. He grinded his pelvis down against Kurt's, causing the boy lying beneath him to gasp at the sudden and new sensation.
Kurt allowed him to do this a few more times before shaking his head and making a panicked sounding whimper. "Not yet," he breathed in Blaine's ear as the other boy panted heavily against his neck. Blaine lifted himself up just enough to stare into Kurt's eyes. As much as he wanted and needed this, Kurt needed to be ready. Kurt looked almost ashamed that he was asking Blaine to stop, and it made Blaine sick to his stomach as he remembered what Karofsky had done only a few short months ago.
"Okay," Blaine conceded, smiling fondly down at his boyfriend. He lowered his lips to nip playfully at Kurt's neck, making sure that he didn't let his hands travel too far south or cross any boundaries they hadn't already crossed. As much as Blaine loved the physicality he had with Kurt, he also liked the romantic, emotional stuff, which was a new feeling for him. He almost couldn't describe it.
I will love you until my dying day.
Blaine smiled against Kurt's neck as he heard the other boy let out a pleasant sigh. Maybe his perfect movie-worthy romantic date hadn't been ruined by the weather.
