Blaine sat on the couch the next day watching re-runs of Friends, waiting for Kurt to finish showering. As he watched Rachel trying to stall Monica before she started getting ready for the wedding, he thought about his and Kurt's wedding, which he hoped to god would really happen someday.
"Hey gorgeous" Kurt smiled, sitting next to Blaine and cuddling up to him.
Blaine smiled back in response, running a hand through Kurt's slightly damp hair and sighing happily.
"You know, I remember watching this at your house around half a month ago" Kurt smirks.
"Oh you do? I think I need you to refresh my memory"
"Well, we were sat like this, your arm around me and I was cuddled up to you, and you told me that this part was boring"
"Still don't remember"
"And then, after some talking, I did this" Kurt said, leaning in and kissing Blaine softly. "And then you got all cute and nervous"
"I did not!" Blaine blushed, ducking his head.
"Did too" Kurt laughed. "And I told you to relax, and then I did this" Kurt leaned in, kissing Blaine again, and lay down on the sofa, bring Blaine down on top of him.
"Mmm, I'm remembering a little. Might need a little more help though" Blaine said, licking his lips.
Kurt leaned up and pressed their lips together, wrapping his arms around Blaine's middle and pulling as close together as possible. "And after a bit, you told me that you wouldn't mind losing the shirts" Kurt said, tugging Blaine's shirt over his head and doing the same with his, bringing their lips together again.
"Dudes, come on, I have nothing against you being together and all but keep it in the bedroom, I don't want to see my little brother doing...that with someone" Finn groaned, flopping down in the armchair.
"And just like last time, we were interrupted by a member of my family" Kurt muttered as Blaine climbed off him.
Blaine shot him a look as he pulled on his shirt, winking to let him know that he was joking. Kurt winked back as he tugged his shirt on, cuddling back up to Blaine and pressing a small kiss to his chest.
"What are you guys planning on doing today?" Finn asked, keeping his eyes trained on the TV.
"Just lounging around I guess, enjoying being in each other's company before Monday" Blaine answered.
"Monday? What's happening on Monday? You told everyone, you don't have to hide anymore"
"About that" Kurt started, reaching for the remote and muting the TV. "We have to go back to pretending that we're not together"
Finn turned and frowned at the two boys. "Why?"
Kurt sighed and rubbed his temple, feeling a headache coming on. "Quinn threatened to hurt Blaine if I didn't break up with him. She can't come between us but I'm also not letting her get anywhere near him. I love him too much"
At the last sentence, Kurt turned and smiled sadly at Blaine, cuddling closer to him. Blaine kissed his forehead and wrapped his arm tighter around him. "I love you too"
"I can't believe she would do something like that" Finn said, shaking his head.
"I can" Kurt admitted. "She was my best friend for 3 years, she'll do anything if there's something in it for her. She has got to be the most selfish person I've ever met, and I honestly don't know why I didn't cut her out of my life sooner. She was never even a real friend anyway, she only even talked to me because I was well on my way to becoming one of the most popular kids in school. Now that I'm back on my way down, she doesn't want to get dragged down with me, so she's doing everything possible to keep me popular. But you know what? Popularity doesn't matter to me as long as I have my loving family and my perfect boyfriend"
Blaine and Finn both smiled at Kurt. Blaine tilted Kurt's head up and kissed him lightly, pulling away after a few moments remembering that Finn was there. "I think you just made me fall even more in love with you" he whispered.
Kurt smiled weakly in response, shifting so that he was spread out across the couch with his head in Blaine's lap. Blaine absentmindedly ran his hand through Kurt's hair as they spoke to Finn.
"So do you want me to tell Rachel so that she can back you up on the story in case anyone asks her?" Finn asked.
"That would be great, thank you" Blaine replied. "Kurt, do you think we should tell the Glee club too? I feel bad for lying to them once, I don't want to lie to them again"
When his question was met with silence, he looked down to see Kurt fast asleep. Blaine smiled softly and removed his hand from Kurt's hair and draped it over his waist, holding him close.
"You two are really serious, aren't you" Finn said.
"We are" Blaine smiled, gazing down at Kurt. "He's everything and more to me"
"I'm really glad he found you. He was turning into this guy that just wasn't him. He was turning into Quinn, and you could just see that he wasn't remotely happy. But then, almost miraculously, he started smiling again, and he slowly started turning back into his normal self. Then I found out about you, and I just knew that you guys are meant to be together"
"It's not just him that changed" Blaine confessed. "I was miserable. My parents hated me, the entire school hated me, and the only good part of my day was Glee. But now...he's transformed me into the person that I've always wanted to be, and I've never been happier"
Kurt stirred slightly in his sleep and turned over, burying his face in Blaine's stomach.
"Seeing as this one's unconscious, do you think that we should tell the rest of the New Directions? Obviously away from Quinn, but what about the others? I can't lie to them again, aside from Kurt, you guys the closest people to me" Blaine said, biting his lip nervously.
"I think you should tell them" Finn nodded. "It'll get everyone confused, and as you said, you can't lie to them again. What you have to do though is make them not go after Quinn, because she's a nasty piece of work, and if she finds out that you know why Kurt "broke up" with you, she'll do something bad, god only knows what. So tell them, but keep it on the down low, otherwise things could get messy"
"You're right" Blaine agreed. "Thanks Finn"
"Don't worry about it" Finn said, shaking his head. He stood up to leave the room, and as he passed Blaine, he clapped a hand on his shoulder. "You're part of the family now bro. I've got your back"
He took his hand away from Blaine's shoulder and walked upstairs, leaving him alone with a sleeping Kurt. Blaine smiled, feeling touched by Finn's words. He shook Kurt gently and bent down to press a tiny kiss to his neck.
"Come on baby, wake up" he murmured.
Kurt grumbled and shuffled even closer to Blaine. "Don't wanna" he mumbled against Blaine's stomach.
"We only have two days to spend together without having to pretend before we have to go to school on Monday and not even look at each other for 7 hours. I want to spend as much time with you as possible, and preferably whilst your conscious" he said, stroking Kurt's hair.
"Point taken. You're right" Kurt yawned, sitting up. "What do you want to do?"
"Well, I quite liked what we were doing before we were so rudely interrupted" Blaine smirked flirty.
"Oh you do, do you?" Kurt retorted, raising an eyebrow. He moved so that he was sitting in Blaine's lap.
"Oh, I definitely do" Blaine breathed, crushing their lips together in an intense, fiery kiss.
Kurt tilted his head and deepened the kiss, their lips sliding together in sync. He slid his hands up Blaine's shirt, tracing the faint lines of his abs, which weren't unbelievably defined, but definitely there. Blaine moaned against his lips, resting his hands on the small of Kurt's back, pulling him closer together. They broke apart for air, panting heavily.
"I think you need to lose this" Kurt whispered, tugging at Blaine's shirt.
"I think you're definitely right" Blaine responded, yanking off both of their shirts.
They stared at each other for a few moments before lunging forward again, their lips meeting halfway.
"I love you so much" Blaine moaned against Kurt's lips, pressing their chests together.
"I love you too" Kurt whispered.
"Do you want to take this upstairs?" Blaine asked, smiling in anticipation.
"I wish we could baby, but we can't. Finn's here" Kurt sighed, taking Blaine's face in his hands and kissing him softly as an apology.
"I know, I guess that was a bit of a long shot" he admitted, climbing off of Kurt, yelping when he was pulled back down.
"I never said that we had to stop" Kurt breathed in his ear.
Blaine shivered and kissed Kurt passionately. They lay on the couch for a while, lazily making out and pressing slow, languid kisses to each other's lips and neck. They were so caught up in their own little world that they didn't hear Rachel, who had a spare key, open the front door.
"Hey boys, having a nice time?"
Kurt and Blaine jumped away from each other, looking around the room frantically to see who had spoken. They saw Rachel standing in front of them with her hands on her hips and smirking.
"God Rach, you scared us half to death!" Blaine exclaimed.
Rachel simply laughed and shook her head, walking past them and up the stairs.
"Use protection!" she called over her shoulder.
"We already do!" Blaine yelled back.
Rachel cackled with laughter as she went into Finn's room. The two boys sighed and cuddled up together, un-muting the TV, which was now showing a British fashion show called Gok's Fashion Fix. Blaine had one arms wrapped around Kurt, and his other hand was rested on Kurt's knee. Ever so slowly, he started sliding it up, so slowly that Kurt didn't even realise until his hand was on the top of his thigh, very close to going further.
"Blaine Anderson" Kurt scolded, raising an eyebrow at Blaine and removing the hand from his thigh, placing it back on his knee. "I told you, we can't, not with Finn and now Rachel upstairs. And we can't do it here when anyone could walk in"
Blaine pouted, leaning down to kiss Kurt, biting his bottom lip. Kurt sighed into the kiss, pulling away before he got too carried away.
"I'm sorry baby, but we just can't. It's not that I don't want to, because I really, really do"
"I know, I know" Blaine said dejectedly. "I just really hated those few days that we were apart, it felt like a lifetime. I guess I was just trying to make up for lost time"
Kurt's heart sank, and he switched their positions so that Blaine was the one being cuddled. "I am so sorry" he whispered, holding him close.
Blaine didn't reply, just buried his face in Kurt's chest and breathed in his scent. Kurt rubbed his back soothingly, and after a bit, he turned over, his head in Kurt's lap, and they watched Gok's Fashion Fix together.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
Too soon, Monday rolled around, and it was time for Kurt and Blaine to pretend that they weren't together - again. They stood by the front door facing each other, their hands linked between them, their foreheads pressed together.
"I already hate this" Blaine whispered, closing his eyes.
"I know you do baby, and I do too, but I'm not risking you getting hurt. I can't let that happen, not now, not ever" Kurt said firmly, his eyes radiating love.
"God I love you so much" Blaine breathed as he leaned forward, slotting their lips together.
They broke apart when Kurt felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned around to see Finn smiling sympathetically at them.
"I'm so sorry that you guys have to do this, I really am" he sighed, clapping Kurt on the shoulder before walking out of the house and towards Kurt's car to give the two boys some privacy.
"I guess we should take separate cars" Blaine said dejectedly, looking at the ground.
Kurt simply nodded and unlaced their fingers, pressing a soft, lingering kiss to Blaine's forehead. "I'll see you later, okay?"
"Okay" Blaine nodded.
They walked to their separate cars and drove in silence to school, sparing each other a longing glance as they walked into the halls of McKinley. Blaine got his books out of his locker and sat through homeroom in complete silence, ignoring Rachel and the sounds of teenagers talking around, his mind only on Kurt and how he was so close yet so far away at the same time. He vaguely heard the bell ring and wandered off to his first class, not bothering to listen at all. He looked up at the clock and slammed his head on the desk. 8:50. This was going to be a long day.
Blaine sat on the couch the next day watching re-runs of Friends, waiting for Kurt to finish showering. As he watched Rachel trying to stall Monica before she started getting ready for the wedding, he thought about his and Kurt's wedding, which he hoped to god would really happen someday.
