Author's Notes: I'm so sorry that this is late, I've been swamped with school work, it was my birthday on Friday, and I was ill from Saturday to Monday, plus an insane case of writer's block! But I'm back now, and updates are going to become more regular :)

As soon as Kurt woke up, he knew something had happened last night, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. He spent all morning trying to think about what had happened the night before, but he couldn't think of anything.

"Kurt?"

Kurt turned around to find none other than Blaine Anderson standing there, in his living room.

"Blaine? Hi...how did you get in?" he asked, confused.

"Your dad let me in. We have tutoring today" Blaine smiled.

"Right, yeh, of course...tutoring" Kurt had completely forgotten that that was still going on.

"So, do you want to start?" Blaine asked, looking at Kurt oddly.

"Actually...can we talk instead? I'm sure I'll be fine to miss one study session. I really need to talk to you" Kurt muttered, refusing to meet Blaine's gaze.

"Sure....Kurt, are you okay?"

"What happened last night, Blaine? I remember getting really drunk, I remember you taking me home, but I know that I'm missing something. What happened?"

Blaine sighed. "Your dad is home...can we go to mine? I want to tell you this alone"

"Sure...let me just grab my coat"

Blaine drove Kurt back to his, and pulled him up to his bedroom.

"Are you sure we're alone?" Kurt asked.

"Yes. My parents left for LA last night after the party"

"Then...why are we in your bedroom with the door closed?" Kurt asked, confused.

"Because it feels more private. Now, do you want to know what happened last night? Are you really sure?"

"Blaine, you're scaring me now...just tell me..please" Kurt sat on the bed, and Blaine sat next to him.

"Okay. Well....you were really drunk, so I took you home, but you remember that part. When we got back to yours, I tried to help you into bed, but you asked me to kiss you. I didn't know what to do, so I said no, but you wouldn't stop asking, so I kissed you. I'm so, so sorry Kurt, I know that you don't really like me that way, but-"

"Kiss me again" Kurt interrupted him.

"What?! Kurt, no, this could ruin so much stuff" Blaine panicked.

"Kiss me again Blaine. I want you to. It's the only way that I can decide my feelings for you"

Blaine nodded, slowly leaning forward, pressing his lips to Kurt's. He pulled away after a couple of seconds.

"Well?" Blaine asked.

He was answered with Kurt's lips against his again. He felt himself being pushed down onto the bed.

"Kurt, stop" he whispered against his lips.

"Why? I know now. I really like you Blaine. I really, really like you. I want to be with you. In secret, of course, but I want to be with you. If you feel the same way, that is"

"I do, I really do, but I want to do this properly, take it slow. I trust you, Kurt, but I don't want to mess this up by going too fast" Blaine said, moving from underneath Kurt and sitting next to him on the bed.

"I understand. We'll take it slow. But promise me one thing" Kurt said, looking over at Blaine.

"Anything" Blaine smiled, taking Kurt's hands in his.

"Always remember that even if I have to be mean to you in front of others, I feel really strongly about you. I really don't want to mess this up"

"I promise, I'll never forget your feelings for me. But you nobody can know, am I right?" Blaine asked.

"Right. But I might tell Quinn....she is my best friend" Kurt said, remembering the bet. He did like Blaine, but he still wanted the money. He could treat Blaine with that money. But he had to get Blaine into bed first in order to win. He could do this, but Blaine could never find out.

"Of course. So...we're boyfriends now?" Blaine smiled.

"Yes, we are" Kurt grinned, kissing Blaine one more time before standing up.

"What are you doing?" Blaine laughed.

"Now that you're my boyfriend, I want to take you on a date. I can't take you out to Breadstix like everyone else, but I can cook for you"

"I'll show you what's in the kitchen"

Blaine lead Kurt downstairs, and showed him where everything was before being shoved into the lounge to watch TV until he was done.

He smiled to himself. Kurt Hummel was his boyfriend. Kurt Hummel, the most popular and hottest guy in school, was his, boyfriend. Two episodes of Being Bobby Brown later, Kurt came into the living room.

"Dinner is ready. Can you go grab the blanket on your bed? Everything will be ready when you come back downstairs, I promise" Kurt smiled.

"Sure thing" Blaine jumped up, pecking Kurt on the lips and running upstairs. When he got back down, he saw two plates resting on the coffee table and candles.

"Kurt" Blaine whispered.

"Don't just stand there dummy, set the blanket down so we can sit on it" he laughed.

Blaine put the blanket on the floor, and Kurt put their plates in front of them, the candles to the side so that it didn't fall over and set anything on fire.

"Kurt, this is delicious" Blaine said, smiling at Kurt lovingly.

"I'm glad you like it. I don't make it often, only for special occasions. Or for special people. This is a special occasion, and you're a very special person"

"I'm really not that special" Blaine blushed.

"Blaine, you're my boyfriend. That makes you the most special guy in the world to me" Kurt took Blaine's hand and kissed his knuckles.

"You're so gorgeous" Blaine whispered, looking into Kurt's eyes. He leaned forward to kiss him, but Kurt shook his head.

"Nuh-uh, taking it slow, remember? It was your idea. And plus, there's food here, so eat up. You can kiss me afterwards" he smirked.

"Fine, have it your way" Blaine smiled, pretending to pout.

"Oh, how kind of you, I will have it my way thank you" Kurt laughed, Blaine smacking him on the arm lightly.

"Shut up and enjoy your delicious food that you seriously have to give me the recipe for" Blaine grinned, finishing his meal.

"No way, it's a secret. Why else would I have made you wait in here while I made it?"

"Please?" Blaine pouted.

"No"

"Please?"

"No"

"Please!"

"If you ask one more time, you won't get to kiss me for a month" Kurt smirked as Blaine quickly shut his mouth.

"Now that I've stopped asking, I do believe you said I could kiss you after dinner" Blaine smiled, his eyes lingering on Kurt's lips.

"I believe I did" Kurt said, leaning forwards and giving Blaine a quick kiss.

"Nope. No way. I want a real kiss" Blaine pulled Kurt over to him, bringing their lips together. They moved together, it felt so natural and gentle, like they went together perfectly. They pulled apart and rested their foreheads together.

"Blaine, I really, really like you" Kurt whispered, wrapped his arms around his boyfriend.

"I really, really like you too Kurt" Blaine whispered back, inhaling Kurt's scent of vanilla, coffee, and something that he couldn't quite put his finger on, but was just Kurt.

"You should meet my dad" Kurt blurted out.

"What do you mean? I've already met him, he let me into your house this morning" Blaine asked, confused.

"No, I mean you should properly meet him. As my boyfriend, not as my tutor. You should come over for Friday night dinner next week. He would love it if I brought you along! I mean, you would have to put up with my brother, he asks a lot of questions and stuff, but I'll make sure he keeps his mouth shut. What do you think?" Kurt smiled, taking Blaine's hands again.

"I would love that" Blaine grinned.

"Great! Oh, I should warn you now. My brother, he's Finn Hudson, the quarter back? I don't know if you know him, but-"

"He's in Glee with me" Blaine cut Kurt off.

"Right, of course he is, how could I forget that? He's been nagging me to join" Kurt sighed.

"You should!" Blaine smiled, getting up off the floor and sitting on the couch. Kurt sat next to him and put his arm around him.

"I want to, I really do, but I can't, my reputation would fall apart. I can't let that happen, not now that high school is nearly over. I'm so close Blaine, so close to getting out of Lima, so close to going to New York, I don't want to spend my last year in this dump as 'Kurt Hummel - Glee club homo'. I don't want that. I'll just have to keep singing as a hobby for the next year"

Blaine felt his heart ache. This poor boy just wanted to live his dream, but couldn't because he was terrified of the consequences.

"I know, I know" Blaine whispered.

"Singing is my passion, but I can't let anyone else know, because I'm gay. Quinn, Finn, Puck, Santana, Brittany, they can all be popular and be in Glee, they get to express their passions, because they're straight. It's so unfair that I can't, just because I'm that little bit different. I hate it, I hate it" A tear rolled down Kurt's cheek.

Blaine shuffled closer to Kurt, pulling him into his arms and kissing his head, letting him cry on him.

"It's going to be okay, you know why?"

"Why?" Kurt sobbed.

"Because one year is nothing compared to the rest of your life. You're going to go to Broadway, and you're going to be a star, and when you go to New York, everyone is going to accept you and love you for who you are. And I'll be with you, every step of the way. Remember, I want to go New York too. As long as things go well for us, and this lasts, we can go together" Blaine rubbed Kurt's back, hoping to calm him down.

"You're right. You're totally right. God, I'm so sorry, our first day of being together and I'm crying on you" Kurt chuckled shakily.

"It's fine. Now, how about we watch a movie. You can pick" Blaine pointed to a stack of DVDs.

Kurt nodded, picked The Little Mermaid and settled back down next to Blaine.

~

"How do I look?" Blaine asked nervously, adjusting his bow tie.

"You look gorgeous Blaine" Rachel laughed, swatting his hands away from his bow tie.

"Do you think his family will like me? I mean, I get along pretty well with Finn, but what about his dad, and his stepmom? What if they hate me? I've only had a two minute conversation with his dad, and I've never even met his stepmom. I could be the exact opposite of what they want for their son for all I know" Blaine shouted.

"Calm down, they'll love you. Now, go on, you're going to be late" Rachel shoved him out of her house and to his car. She'd let him get ready there, because he couldn't risk his parents finding out that he had a boyfriend. He would never hear the end of it.

Blaine drove to Kurt's, hoping that the drive would somehow take longer than usual, but before he knew it, he was knocking on Kurt's door.

The door opened, and Kurt was standing there, looking stunning as always.

"Hey" Blaine breathed.

"Hey. Come on in" Kurt took Blaine's hand and led him to the dining room where everyone was sat.

"Hello, you must be Blaine! I'm Carole, Kurt's step mom. I believe you already know my son Finn, and you've met my husband Burt" Carole smiled warmly, shaking Blaine's hand.

"Hey dude" Finn nodded, slapping Blaine on the back.

"Hey. Thank you for having me here, you really didn't have to" Blaine smiled at Kurt's family.

"Nonsense, it's a pleasure, you're Kurt's boyfriend now, you're always welcome here" Carole took a seat next to Burt.

"Woah, wait up, you're dating my brother? Since when?" Finn looked up, bewildered.

"Last weekend, seriously Finn, how did you not know that, mom's been gushing about it all week" Kurt rolled his eyes.

"Nice to see you again Blaine" Burt smiled. "I know we didn't talk much, but we can change that now. What do you like to do? Your hobbies and all that. I know that you're in glee with Finn and that you're real smart, but what else do you like?" he asked.

"Well, I like football-" Blaine began, but was cut off by Finn and Burt starting an animated conversation with him about the most recent game.

Carole rested her hand on top of Kurt's and grinned at him. "You did good honey. He's a real looker, and it seems like your dad likes him well enough"

"Thanks mom" Kurt smiled back.

Dinner went smoothly, and Blaine got along with everyone in Kurt's family. Before long, dinner was over, and Kurt was giving Blaine a quick goodbye kiss at the door.

"I'll see you tomorrow for tutoring" he whispered, giving Blaine a final kiss.

"Tomorrow. I'll see you then" Blaine smiled, stepping out onto the porch.

The door closed behind him, and he jumped in his car, sending Rachel a quick text.

Emergancy sleepover. Tonight was perfect, need to share with you!

He drove as fast as he could to Rachel's, sighing with happiness. He really did have the world's best boyfriend.

~

Kurt ran upstairs and called Quinn. He'd been so busy with Blaine that he had forgotten to tell her that he was finally dating Blaine. He flopped on his bed and dialled her number.

"Hey Kurt"

"Q. I got Blai-Anderson to date me. Not long before I can get that money" Kurt laughed.

"Good job. You've just got to get him into bed and it's yours. How much should we decide on? We never did"

"$500" Kurt said, smirking to himself.

"$500 it is" Kurt could practically hear Quinn smiling through the phone.

"Oh, just so you know, I told him that I was going to tell you, but we agreed to not tell anyone else, so don't tell anyone, okay?"

"Promise. Not that it would really matter, it's not as if you like the kid, is it?" she laughed.

Kurt felt his smile drop, and he was so glad that Quinn couldn't see him right now.

"Right, no, of course not. H-He's just....a nerd" he trailed off at the end. He didn't really think these things about Blaine, but he had to keep up appearances.

"Good good. I've got to go, but I'll see you Monday, okay?"

"Sure. See you Q"

Kurt hung up the phone and groaned. How was he supposed to hide the fact that he really liked Blaine from Quinn, and the bet from Blaine? This was going ot be difficult, but he can do it. He could do it, and once he had, he was going to continue dating Blaine, and they would go to New York together after Graduation. But he had to keep that part from everyone else. And that was going to kill him.
