Blaine spent the next week absorbing everything in and watched with sadness; how Kurt seemed to avoid him by any means. He didn't want to force himself on the boy at this time and cause him to hate him even more. At class, Blaine would be explaining their new novel and Kurt'd be looking anywhere but at Blaine.
By Thursday, Blaine had thought everything through and knew exactly how he'll get Kurt to talk to him without any lies or manipulation.
Since his talk with Blaine, Kurt has really been feeling horrible. He kept looking at the bond between Finn and Rachel, Mercedes and Sam, Tina and Mike, and couldn't help but feel jealous. Most of his friends have found their other half, the person who'll give them the love they need and the only person who they can truly submit to naturally.
No matter how horrible, sad and jealous he felt; Kurt knew he couldn't get back to Blaine. He knew he deserves better. However, all of this is easily said than done. Kurt still finds himself dreaming of Blaine his touch haunts him and he wakes up wet, flushed up and needy for the hazel-eyed man's touch. He still daydreams about the life he could have with Blaine, the love Blaine could give him if he just wasn't all messed up.
Right now he's having another daydream when Mr. Shue clapped his hands and snapped him out of it.
"So today we'll not only be having Mr. Anderson as our guest, but we'll also see him perform for us!" Mr. Shue said enthusiastically.
"I bet his voice sounds like sex," Santana purred looking lustfully at Mr. Anderson.
Kurt felt all the colour drains from his face at the mention of Blaine and wanted nothing but run and hide from the man, who's took one of the guitars from the band and sat on a chair in the middle of the room. Kurt also wanted to walk to the man, kneel before him and ask him to take him home and claim him. Kurt knew this is wrong, knew that he should never want to be near Blaine, but he couldn't just get himself to stop thinking of submitting to the dom.
"Hello everyone, I've actually asked Mr. Shuester if it'll be okay to join in and sing a song, and he kindly welcomed me. I really love this song and feel the need to share it with you," Blaine's eyes were trained on Kurt as he talked and the younger boy found himself drowning in the pools of chocolates.
Blaine finally broke the eye contact, put the guitar on his lap and started singing.
When I was younger, I saw my daddy cry
And curse at the wind
He broke his own heart and I watched
As he tried to reassemble it
And my momma swore
That she would never let herself forget
And that was the day that I promised
I'd never sing of love if it does not exist
But darling, you are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
Kurt found himself mesmerised. Blaine had an angel's voice.
Maybe I know, somewhere deep in my soul
That love never lasts
And we've got to find other ways to make it alone
Or keep a straight face
And I've always lived like this
Keeping a comfortable distance
And up until now I had sworn to myself that I'm content with loneliness
Because none of it was ever worth the risk
Well you are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
I've got a tight grip on reality
But I can't let go of what's in front of me here
I know you're leaving in the morning when you wake up
Leave me with some kind of proof, it's not a dream, oh
The whole Glee club was amazed by Blaine's performance and Kurt found that few of them started tearing up a bit.
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
You are the only exception
And I'm on my way to believing
Oh, and I'm on my way to believing
As he ended the song, Blaine felt tears come down his cheeks. He raised his face when he found the kids cheering and clapping for him. His eyes found Kurt's, the boy's cheeks were beet red and tears were falling down his face as he cried silently. Mercedes's arms were around him, whispering in his ear as she tried to calm him down.
"Thank you, Mr. Anderson, and know that you're welcome in the Glee club to sing anytime," Mr. Shue said as he patted Blaine's back.
"Thank you for having me," Blaine whispered as he gave the guitar back to the guy and went to sit on the chair next to the mohawked dude who high fived him.
For the rest of the club meeting, Blaine listened to Finn sing "daylight" by maroon5, Rachel sing, "ours" by Taylor Swift while smiling at Finn, and finally Mercedes singing Mariah's "My all".
After the club meeting ended and as was Blaine walking to his car, he heard his angel's voice speaking.
"Hey Mr. Anderson, please wait," Kurt shouted as he ran towards Blaine.
Blaine stopped walking and turned towards his sub, "yeah sure, Kurt. How can I help you?" Blaine felt his heart beating fast, excited that Kurt wanted to talk to him again but at the same time scared of what the blue eyed boy might say.
Kurt approached Blaine, looking around not wanting any of his friends to know what he wants to talk Blaine about, "can we go to Lima Beans to talk?"
