Author's Notes: Whew got that out the way. what do you say?
Silence....

Thick with a funny tension fills the air.

Blaine sits there unblinking, staring at Kurt with an unreadable expression on his face.

While Kurt stands there chewing on his lip. Swaying from side to side trying to keep from trembling. His eyes are stinging with tears that he refuse to let fall as he waits for Blaine to say something.....Anything.

"One more time Kurt?" Blaine finally speaks up.

Kurt takes a deep breath to stop his voice from shaking

"Blaine I think I like boys instead of girls"

Kurt chews his lips again tasting blood as Blaine just stares at him again.

"I think you should leave Kurt"

Kurt snaps his head up and in Blaines direction voice breaking "Wha-what"

Blaine has his head down drawing patterns in his bed covers.

"Girls are suppose to like boys. Boys are suppose like girls thats the way its meant to be" Blaine replies in a monotone voice as if hes repeating someones words.

Kurt lets the tears falls now.

"Its not like I can change Blaine! Nothing is wrong with me liking boys. Youve seen Two male soulmates before and Two women soulmates. Rachel dads are soulmates! Your sister likes girls too! Its not like its against the law"

He says but Blaine still wouldnt meet his eyes.

"Please look to me Im your best friend!" He tries to stop his voice from cracking and the tears from blurring his vision as Blaine looks anywhere but at him.

He moves forward to sit next to Blaine when the honey eyed boy finally looks up with eyes of sorrow as he utters his next few words

"Not anymore. Now leave!" He says coldly.

Kurt stops in his tracks letting his tears flow freely as he tries to reach for Blaines hand but Blaine snatches his hand away

"Blaine please dont do this. Youve been my best friend since we were 6! Please dont turn away now after all weve been through together! Were suppose to be friends forever remember? Youre suppose to be the first person I tell when I get my soulmate mark other than dad" he says sadly as Blaine starts to stand up and scoff.

"All this time those other kids were right. You are gay and here I thought they were being mean you were just different. I took up for you! Got picked on because I was friends with the Weird kid that sounds like a girl! Please just leave Kurt"

Blaine pushed Kurt towards the bedroom door while Kurt sputtered on his words to change his best friends mind. Blaine slammed the door in his face and Kurt turned and ran out the house sobbing.

When Kurt came bursting through his front door crying his parents looked at eachother and shared a look before Elizabeth gets up.

"Dont worry hon I got it" she got and went upstairs to see her son face down on his bed sobbing. She didnt say anything at first just sat down and rubbed soothing circles in his back.

"Mommy!" Kurt cried and threw himself on her.

"There, there baby its ok. Can you tell me whats the matter."

Kurt cried for a few more minutes before finally sitting up and speaking.

"I told Blaine a secret and now he doesnt want to talk to me anymore."

Tears keep flowing out of his red swollen eyes.

"Can you tell me what you told him?"
Kurt starts shaking and wouldnt meet her eyes.

Burt looks on from the threshold.

"I told him IThinkILikeBoysInsteadOfGirls" He rushed out.

"Can you repeat that a little slower baby"Elizabeth replies.

He takes a deep and says a little louder

"I think I like boys instead of girls. Please dont be mad" He chances to look up and sees his mom smiling.

"We already knew that kurtie".

He looks at her with curiosity in his eyes

"How?"

His dad chuckes and walks in the room finally and sit next to him.

"Were your parents dont you think we know our baby boy. Plus for your third birthday you asked for a sensible pair of heels. What straight boy ask for those." Burt chuckles

Kurt giggle then remembered Blaines reaction and his eyes start to water again thinking about his (ex) bestfriend reaction.

Elizabeth of course noticed and hugs him

"Its ok Kurt. Blaine will come around one day."

His dads starts mumbling under his breath angrily. Then sighs

"There isnt anything wrong with you son so never let anyone tell you otherwise. You hold your head high and keep on going. Remember Nobody pushes the Hummels around. Now do you want me to get my shotgun out and go have a talk with Blaine"

Elizabeth notices Kurt contemplating it in his head and shot Burt a scolding look.

"No Burt just leave him be. He is only 12 theres a lot boys their age dont understand yet."She turns to Kurt and give him a sad smile.

"Just give him time baby. Now do you want a snack?" He shakes his head

"I think I want to take a nap"

His parents nod and leave him to his thoughts (What if he doesnt speak to me again was his last thought) before falling asleep.

Meanwhile down the street Blaine lets the tears fall down his face.

He just lost his bestfriend.

He wiped the tears away angrily and thinks oh well he has other friends.

Normal friends like his gran says not a queer looking boy like Kurt.

Blaine isnt homophobic at all. Hell his older sister Priscilla is a lesbian.

He doesnt think being gay is wrong. He himself might be attracted to guys.

He just refuses to think about it.

But thats another story to tell.

His "Normal" friends always picked on Kurt.

Friday they cornered him and told him either ditch the girly freak or get his treatment too.

He sighed he didnt want to be bullied like Kurt.

Yeah he got called names but never the physical stuff Kurt got.

He always thought Kurt was strong and didnt need him anyway so he took the easy way out and left Kurt alone.

Well like pushed him away. "Im such a butt" he mumbled then laid down and promptly fell to sleep.

Peer pressure is a bitch
