A year as passed and to say that Kurts life hasnt been easy would be an utter and complete understatement. After his mom had been killed in a car accident Kurt was feeling even more withdrawn from life. He was lonelier than before simple as that. His mom was always there for him when he needed her the most. All those times when he came home with blood on his clothes ,bruises on him ,black eyes, cuts on him, busted lips, tear stains on his face or limping she was there to dry his tears, clean him up and soothe his spirits.

Yeah he still have his dad but Kurt doesnt want to bother him with his problems. Burt has been trying to hold it together since Elizabeth died. But how do you get over the death of your soulmate??

His parents were on of the lucky couples to be marked and already knew who they were and connected instantly.

On your 16th birthday you get your soulmate mark on your left palm. When you meet them after getting your mark the name will start to get tingle and youll get this sense of belonging and home. If your soulmate die their name will get a black line through them and eventually it will fade with time. Same thing happens if you refuse your soulmate after meeting but thats a very rare thing to happen but it isnt unheard of.

Rumors have it that if that happens you might not get another mark after the fade but there are stories of people finding a second soulmate.

Kurt hopes his dad will be happy again maybe even find a second soulmate. He hate to see his dad so heartbroken. He himself think that is he meet his soulmate early then maybe his life will be a little bearable.


News about his mom spread around the school pretty fast. It was all over the news and newspapers. You would think the bullies would let up and let him grieve in peace.

Nope.

He took a few days of school and self defense/fighting class off after the accident. When he finally went back to school people were staring at him which wasnt anything new. A few people were sympathetic like they really cared. Blaine and Puck even kept his distance from him. But not the others.

For instance when he walked to his locker red eyes trained on the floor he was pushed into the lockers beside him by Karofsky and Azimio. Blaine and Puck leaning on the lockers opposite of them.

"Watch where you going lady! Whats the matter you miss your mommy. She was probably happy to get away from her about her fag of a son." Azimio, Karofsky and a few others laugh and walk away. Blaine and Puck stayed for a few seconds longer looking shamed before following.

Kurt of course doesnt notice he is too busy wiping tears away and going on about his day.

He was simply depressed. He thought of suicide a few times but quickly lost that train of thought. He missed his mom. He even missed Blaine. He still doesnt understand what his problem really is but at this point he dosent care to find out anymore.

After Kurt started to ignore Blaine he became even more miserable. He just didnt care anymore. You can tell his spirt was finally broken and heart became hardened. He was depressed and lonely. He pushed away the few friends he already had and just given up on life. He just wallow in his depression these days not focusing on the bullies on his loneliness. He just take one day at a time not feeling anything but numbness

Blaine of course noticed this but didnt say a word. He was ashamed of himself for a while but then he started to not care for anything or anyone. He wouldnt waste his time on a lonely loser like Kurt Hummel even if it was his fault.

His sister wondered why she never seen them together anymore and he just shrugged her off. His grandma of course was happy that he wasnt hanging with that queer anymore.

You see Blaine was raised by his granny Mary. She grew up in the church so therfore she doesnt believe in homosexuality. Where were his parents you ask? Well his mom Katie is an drug addict. And when she finally told his father about Blaine he was leaving to go overseas. He is in the army currently deployed in Afghanistan. So Mary adopted and raised him and his sister Priscilla.

Priscilla came out when she was 15 and her relationship with Mary hasnt been the same since. Ever since she came out Mary has been drilling into Blaines head saying things like girls are suppose to like boys and boys are suppose to like girls or God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve and a bunch of other stuff like that.

He knows his grandma still loves Priscilla but can tell she is disappointed in her for "choosing that lifestyle". He hears the hateful things she say about his sister. Thats the reason he is in denial about his own sexuality he thinks he is attracted to boys but always pushes that thought away refuses to either consider this out of fear of losing his grandmothers love.

After he started bullying Kurt with bis friends he also became miserable. The look of pure heartbreak and fear on his face before Blaine punched him made him sick. He is just too big of a coward to right his wrongs. He misses his best friend but this is the way it is now.

Blaines heart hardened as well. He just didnt have any sympathy for those he bullied anymore. Its like a piece of him died after his relationship with Kurt did. He tells himself that he dosent care anymore and he dosent give a Shit. This is the way he is now so take it or leave it.

You know once youve been called certain things and said something enough times you can convince youself that its the truth. Well say hello to Blaine Anderson the asshole.
