Author's Notes: Sorry if its not that good. *shrugs* its an update. Ill edit soon. Sorry I was gone so long!! Oh! Also had to make a minor change in the prologue. Nothing too major....ok bye 😊
"Oh my God have you seen that video of the guy singing a Ciara melody?" Mitch asks Scott as the blonde walks around the room.

"The one where its three of him? Yes! Girl its life!!" Scott replied as he flails his arms in excitement. "Oh! Crap its that time again?" He says as he shakes his head and laugh.

"Its what time again?" Mitch asks confusedly ad he walks in the room and follows Scotts pointed finger. "Oh! Hey everybody! Were so sorry about that we totally did not see you!" He says looking guilty.

"Yeah were are so sorry. Please excuse us we are finally back in LA and we are so jet lagged. The worst kind too! We are kind of delusional right now." Scott says as they laugh.

"Well welcome back once again. BB says she is sorry it has taken so long. Unfortunately the Lady she was took care of at work for two years passed away and since it was her first and longest client/patient it was just a bit hard in her." Mitch says sadly.

"Poor woman even knew it was going to happen she told her family Im going to die tomorrow and then well...she did... BB felt bad because she was just going to take her flowers soon as a late Mothers day gift when she got some money. It was too late though and she ended up being a flower girl at a funeral instead." Scott says and sighs. "Rest in Peace Ms. A.W." He says and they take a moment of silent.

"Thats not all unfortunately. The other night her cousin was murdered. Poor guy was only 18 and was shot in the head so keep the family in your heart. Rest In peace C.” Mitch says sadly and they take another moment of silence. “She has been going through something personal as well and has been confused and hurt. Its true when they say bad things always happen to good people...or something like that. She says dont worry though she is a trooper and she refuse to let herself be brought down!" He says and lifts his chin in the air.

"We love you BB! She also is having a bad case of writers block too ugh! Its been what? A month? Now anyway we are sorry for breaking your hearts last chapter. It had to be done though. How are we liking the rewrite so far? Im just going to pretend I hear you and nod my head along to the make believe reader in my head." Scott says as he starts to nod and make approving faces. Mitch rolls his eyes at the crazy boy.

"There will be another time jump here. I believe a year later. No worries we will cover our tracks on anything important that may have happened in that year." Mitch says as he eyes Wyatt creeping up on him. Scott scoops up Wyatt and sits next to Mitch and pets him.

"Youre so spoiled!" Scott tells Wyatt in a baby voice getting a meow in response. "We want to be fair and start off with Blaine this time." He says and smile brightly at the hairless cat in his lap as Mitch rolls his eyes at the pair and stretches out on the bed.

"Oh! Since this is a soulmate story I want to us to tell you a little about the soulmates and their marks! More will be added to the actual story of course but since this is a re-write things have changed a bit." Mitch says as he grabs the pillow and tucks it under his chin.

"On your 17th birthday you get your soulmate mark on your left palm -you know the left side for the heart-. When you first lay eyes on your soulmate -after getting marked- the name will on your palm will start to tingle and youll get this sense of belonging, home and all that other cliche shit." He finishes with a dreamy look in his eye.

"We stress the after you get marked because in some small towns its a chance your soulmate will be in the same town as you. So its a chance you may already know them. You dont get the Soul effects until after the mark appears fully on your palm." Scott says. "There were a few attention seekers to say they had the effects before actually getting marked. It was all bullshit. Anyway getting off track." He finishes

"If your soulmate dies, their name on your palm will get a black line through them and eventually it will fade with time. Same thing happens if you refuse your soulmate but thats a very rare thing to happen but it isnt unheard of." Mitch says with a scandalized voice. "I think Ive only heard if like 4 cases like that." He says with a thoughtful look.

"Yeah I think it was four.... No it was five remember the story last year about the two friends being marked with each others name down in Georgia?" Scott asks Mitch.

"Yeah! Poor guys had to refuse each other. One of the boys family was like super religious and threatened to cut him off if he followed through with the Unholiness of homosexuality. People are such idiots." Mitch answers with a roll if his eyes.

"Ok were off track again" Scott says with a laugh. "It is said that once you refuse your soulmate verbally you will have to go to SMA- Soul Mates Association and let draw up papers on it. You have up to a year to change your mind but after that the time will be up and the mark will begin to get the line." He says.

"Wait! Let me tell you about the SMA. Once you get your mark you go fill out the papers at the association. Once you finally meet your Soulmate and connect you have up to a year to officiate your commitment to him or her with a contract." Mitch says as he rolls onto his back.

"I guess you can call it a semi marriage. They keep all tracks of your soulmates records for legal purposes. Or just in case anything happens like death, an actual marriage or what ever. Oh! It is also said that if your soulmate mark has the black line through it from refusal it is extremely rare for you to get another mark after the first one fades." Scott says eyeing Mitch suspiciously.

"If your soulmate dies its not guaranteed you will get another mark either but ive heard good things." Mitch says with a smile. "Also the SMA has a Lost Soulmate branch. They have meetings and places where those who have lost their soulmates can mingle, support each other and what ever. So all hope is not lost for them.... Wow I used the word lost a lot there." He says with a shake of his head. "Anyway anything else we missed will be in the story. So enjoy!" Mitch says as he rolls away from scott trying to tickle him again.

💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔Age 10-11💜💔💜💔💜💔💜

It has been a year today since that "incident" at the park and a bit has changed about Blaine Andersons life.

Mostly his family.

His Nana found out about his sister being marked with a girls name. Priscilla kept the name to herself for a long time and was usually careful with keeping it covered but one day she slipped up and Nana Mary had a fit.

You see when you get marked you protect the name on your left palm by wearing a soulmate glove or you can wrap it up. Many feel the name on your hand is very intimate and should only discuss the mark with the person marked on you. You arent suppose to show or speak to anybody about your mark- Family is an exception with the speaking but not showing- its against the law. That law however is not heavily enforced because some people actually fought against it. Saying it was apart of their constitutional rights and if they wanted to discuss it they should be able to if they wanted to.

After Mary found out about her granddaughter being a lesbian she became cold towards her. Its not like she hated her all of sudden. She just didnt want her baby Condemned to afterlife in burning flames.". Its just the way she was raised and she cant think of another way to live.

Mary grew up in a very small very religious community. Back in her childhood days whenever someone was thought to be gay were "Punished". She didnt know what none of that meant until her 9th birthday when she went out to town with her parents. They stumbled across a naked bloody body hanging by her neck on a rope and another naked one on the ground with her limbs broken badly and face swollen. Each had the word “Dyke” carved into their bellies. The girls names were Bertha and Sadie. They two bestfriends use to watch Mary when her parents were out in town and she couldnt tag along. Later her parents dicovered both girls were beaten to death for getting caught kissing behind the community well.

This was back in the days when these marks started to make themselves known. People were afraid of them. When human beings dont understand things they lash out against them. Seeing as homosexuality was also misunderstood and foreign to them, anyone with a same sex mark on them was punished for doing the devils bidding.

She was so confused and sad by what she saw and overheard she asked her parents questions about what it. She earned a nice red bum for "Speaking that devil nonsense" in her parents house. So throughout her life she had been taught and preached at about how it was wrong and so thats what she lived by.

Thats how she lived her life by the way she was brought up in the church. Thats the way she raised her kids and now thats the way she must raise her grandkids -seeing as their parents arent really there- because that's the only way of life she knows. Seeing as its too late for her granddaughter. She constantly drills her learnings into her grandson's head in hopes he turn out to be normal and not a sissy-fied faggot.

After months of name calling, trying to "fix" her, trying to talk her into refusal, the preaches from the pastors at church and the arguments they were both fed up of going after each other that they just started to ignore the other. Only speaking when its necessary. It got to the point that when Priscilla finally turned 18 she moved out and started staying with her bestfriend Amber until she goes off to college in New York this fall.

Blaine tried to fix the tense relationship between them but since the park thing Priscilla has never been the same towards him. She was distant and sometimes downright mean to him. It didnt help that he repeated something about homosexuality he learned from the church people to her once he learned that name on her palm read Angela Johnson. All she did was shake her head and stomp away muttering "Of course she fucking got to you!" And other curses under her breath leaving him confused. Of course he was cheered up immediately by his NaNa as she beamed at him and rewarded him with sweets.

Another family thing that has happened his mom made an appearance.

He was startled awake by yelling and noises downstairs one night in september. He snuck down to see what the fuss was about only to run into his sister who was crouching down hiding behind a plant looking between the banister with tears in her eyes. She turned to him and held up a finger motion for him to be quiet and he quietly made his way over and peeked down too.

"Mom. Please I mean it this time!." Katie says with unfocused begging eyes.

She looks horrible. She is all skin and bones with raggedy clothes hanging off of her. Her hair is sweaty and matted. Her face looks taut with glistening sweat on it and bloody lips with teeth prints in them. Her eyes are wild and bloodshot with bags under them. She has scratches all over her arms and neck. She wont stop trembling and she cant stay still very long. Every so often she has these ticks with something on her body. Usually its her head bobbing up and down or her scratching her arms all while making a groaning sound. She looks slowed down with exhausting but at the same time overly hyper from drugs.

Mary just shakes her head at her daughter "You know how many times youve said that? Every time you say it you dont follow through. Its always the same thing!" Mary replies as she crosses her arms.

"I-im serious! I mean it this time! I-i just need a little time please! I just need a c-couple of dollars for right n-now though. I-Ill come back! I p-promise and when i do Ill be ready to g-get help and get c-clean." Katie says as she scratches her neck and looks towards the stairs longingly. "A-are they sleep? C-can I see them?" She asks pleadingly changing the subject for a while seeing as attention span is very short.

"You know you cant. You arent suppose to be here! We both know that is a lie and you dont want help. Im not giving you any more money just for you to give it to some crooked drug dealer and help your addiction! I cant keep trying to help somebody who doesnt want to be helped. I need you to leave K." Mary replies sternly.

"Mom please?! I need it! You dont understand! Im broke! I cant get any money from anybody else! And I-i am telling the t-truth this time! I-Im hungry, Im sore and Im just plain t-tired of being on the streets. And I miss my b-babies i want to be better for them! Give me a c-chance!" She asks frantically as Mary sighs.

"Heard that before Katie. Just tell me the truth!" Mary glared at her daughter waiting for her response. Katie sighs and drops her head in defeat.

"O-ok I do want h-help. I really d-do miss my babies. Im just not r-ready yet. Are y-you going to give me the m-money or not?" She asks impatiently and mary shakes her head sadly.

"No! Like I said Im not supporting your bad habit!" Mary shouts angrily at her.

"Can I-i at least see them?! I w-wont touch them or anything. Ill peek in and then leave. P-please?" Katie asks with tears in her eyes. Mary raises a thin eyebrow at her.

"Absolutely not! I need you to leave before one of them wakes up and see you." Mary tells her trying to guide her towards the door but Katie just stumbles and plants her feet down so she doesnt move.

"P-please mom?! You cant k-keep me from them!" Katie says and attempts to sidestep her mom only to have Mary step in the way.

"What part of no dont you understand? You arent even allowed this close to them. Ill tell you what. You said youre hungry so Ill heat you up some food to go because frankly child you look sick. Ill let you shower downstairs and get some clothes on you but after that you have to leave." Mary states firmly and Katie growls in frustration.

"S-screw that! Those are my k-kids! You or no paper will k-keep me from them!" She eyes her mom up and down before smirking a bit. "Youre an old fragile l-lady all I have to do is p-push you out of the way and g-go up the stairs. I wont do t-that though because youre m-my mother. So move!" Katie replies in a slurred voice scratching at her arms. Mary looks at her suspiciously shaking her head.

“Id like to see you try! Now get the hell out of my house!” Screams Mary.

“Mom! P-please! I just n-need to see them!” Pleads Katie. The cocaine has her emotions all over the place. She tries to walk around her mom towards the stairs only for Mary to grab a bat and stop her in her tracks.

“Stay away from those damn stairs! Until you get your shit together you are not to come near them ever! You understand me?” Mary argues as she takes another step closer to the stairs blocking Katie.

“Those are m-my kids! I can see them w-when i want to now move out of m-my damn way!” Katie screams and tries to advances.

“Do you think im stupid? I know that you are as high as a kite right now! Even if you werent i wouldnt let you no where near those kids. You lost all rights to them a long time ago! Remember that? You tried to let some strange man touch your daughter because you had no money for drugs! You tried to sell your own son for a hit!" Mary hisses out angrily. "Now get out! Take one more step and i swear i will hit you and call the police!” She threatens and tighten her hands on the bat.

Katie take a nervous step forward not believing her mom would actually hit her.

“Alright now i warned you! Just because i birthed you doesnt mean a thing! You are not the daughter i raised! I dont know who this crackhead is but she damn sure isnt my daughter! Now get the hell out of my house! ” She growls at Katie. Eyes blazing with anger and possession of her grandbabies.

Katie tries her luck and gets closer….

Only to be hit in the arm with the bat hard enough to bruise. Her eyes widen and she tries to make a run up the stairs. In her mind she is successful.... In reality the drugs she is high off of has her off kilter. So as soon as she manages to get pass Mary she smiles happily, only to fly back as Mary grabs her shirt and yanks her back down. The last thing she sees is her teary eyed kids hiding upstairs in the dark before she is dragged out of the house.

Mary calls the police to escort her daughter off the premises when she still refuses to leave. After they finally do get her off the property and into the police car she collapses on the porch and takes a shuddering breath. She takes out a cigarette out to smoke unaware of the eyes that just watched the whole thing.

His father also sent a letter and a package of goodies from overseas for his kids. Stating that he misses and love them. He also said things are looking good and he should be getting ready to come home for a while soon. That has Blaine bouncing off of the walls for some time.

Another thing is its been months since anybody has seen much of the Hummels since the incident. School had started weeks later and not one peep from the Hummels. Kurt hasnt showed up for school at all. He can tell that the guys were kind of deflated because their favorite victim never came to school. Also he can Karofsky was a bit worried about what happened to the pale boy. Over time he has gotten over it and went on about his life as he use to.

He hears people making all types crazy rumors about what happened with the Hummels. One more crazier than the last. He doesnt care though. He isnt suppose to care.

Yes Blaine Anderson is slowly changing. His sister screamed at him once that she doesnt even know who he is anymore but he just walked away from her and right up to his NaNa so they could go to bible study that night. People at school treat him better. It helps that he and his friends are there to keep them in line when the teachers arent watching.

His is closer to the bigger boys at school. They all became really good friends after he "ditched the girly freak". They are always over here for video games, pizza and sleepovers. His NaNa seems happier with him and his new friends.

He doesnt even miss Kurt anymore.

He isnt supose to miss Kurt.

Life is pretty okay for Blaine Anderson.

💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔💜💔💜

Kurt Hummel's life had been hard following that year after the park incident.

All the work his cousins did to bring him out of his shell shattered at the park that day. He wasnt nowhere near the same Kurt he use to be. He was quiet, withdrawn, depressed and miserable. He was more timid and jumpy and more reserved. He didnt trust anybody anymore but his parents and even that took a while.

Speaking of Elizabeth and Burt they were so worried about their son. Everything changed for the worst after he woke up in the hospital.

After the "accident" at the playground Kurt was taken to Lima Memorial Hospital via ambulance. His ankle was re-broken so bad he needed dissolvable screws in them to hold his bones together. He had a bloody gash on his head from hitting a rock -That shouldnt had been there but kids dont listen when you say no throwing rocks-, had a swollen lump close to his temple and also had a concussion that worried the doctors because he got as so young and small. They put kept him in bed rest for a couple of days so the swelling lump would go down and to monitor his concussion.

He woke up very confused, afraid and in pain. After hearing what happened he refused to talk to anybody even his parents. He refused to leave his bedroom when he came home days later. Only came out for food and to hobble on his crutches to the bathroom. He cried himself to sleep most nights trying to figure out what had he done so wrong for his own bestfriend to turn his back on him. He often had nightmares of the bullies as well.

Weeks went by and he still hadnt improved emotionally. He would venture out of his room just a little from time to time but still held in his room most time. Josh and Bridget called to make sure he was ok. Only for him to mumble he was fine and hang up and go hide back in his room as his memories seem to bother him again. His parents couldnt stand to see their baby like that.

Kurt hated that he was so worthless and couldnt stand up for himself. Hated these stupid crutches that hurt his armpits and arms. Hated those stupid bullies. Hated Bridget for not listening to him. Hated josh for not watching them. In reality he didnt really hate his cousins. He just hate that he wasnt brave or strong enough to protect himself. Most of all he hates that he worries his parents so much. He hates that he is costing them so much money. He felt a bit better though after that conversation that happened at dinner a month before school started though.

"Kurt your mom and I have been talking and we decided that we are going to move. We arent letting you anywhere near those little arses at that school." Burt grunted out stabbing at his meatloaf.

"W-what? Why? I thought you said you the police said they cant touch me anymore." Kurt stammers out.

"Unfortunately honey. School starts in a month and the restraining order doesnt cover school grounds. So you arent exactly safe there." Elizabeth says softly with a sigh.

"Its not like he was safe in the first place. Stupid bastards!" Burt retorts quietly but gave his wife an apologetic look after she glared at him about his language. "I talked to a buddy of mines who is a cop. He informed me that the restraining order cant do too much for kids you all ages. Especially at a public school." He said.

Kurt just hung his head. He didnt want to cost his parents more trouble or money. "Where would we move to?" He asked quietly.

"We were looking at Westerville Ohio. Its more upscale for our taste but the schools are safe. If not then maybe a state that is more gay friendly like New Jersey or Maine." His mom spoke up. Kurt just started pushing his food around his plate.

"But what about your shop dad?" He asks

"If we move to Westerville it will be fine. Its only a hour and half drive. Ill just need one if the guys to open up for me from now on. It will be fine. Or if we move out of state I can always sale it and start over or something." Burt states after taking a sip of his drink. "Oh! There was also something else."

Great more guilt Kurt thought. "What else?" He asks timidly.

"Well when your cousins were here. Josh made a suggestion." Elizabeth said soothingly reaching over to hold his hand seeing as he is so tense at the conversation.

"He suggested putting you in a fighting class. Wait let me explain first." Burt hurries out seeing Kurts head snap up and was about to protest. "Its not exactly
fighting. Its more for self defense plus a mixture of basic fighting skills. They have advanced classes too for different types of fighting. Like boxing, karate, jiu jitsu and martial arts. For people who want to advance that is." He finished eyeing his son. Kurt shrunk in on himself some more. Great even my parents know Im weak and cant help myself.

Elizabeth moved and put her hand under his chin and he flinched. A natural reaction after all he had been through. She smiled warmly at him and kisses his forehead. "I know what youre thinking. No you are not weak. Youre just smaller than the average boy. I blame my side of the family for that." She looks him in the eyes and moves some wipe the tears that leaked out of his eyes off his cheeks.

"Yeah son. Youre strong like your old man here." Burt joked making a muscle making Kurt smile and chuckle. "We might accept you for who you love but everybody will not feel the same way. Its just going to be a bit harder as youre growing up." He says with a shake of his head.

"We just want to make sure you know how to defend yourself when we arent around you baby. We dont ever want to see you hurt again." Elizabeth says looking him in the eyes.

"The decision on the fighting class is yours though. We dont want to force you into anything we just think it will be best. Its also said its a good form of therapy for some people. You know to rid of anything thats bothering you." Burt says smiling lovingly at his family.

"Ill give it a try. I dont want to be scared anymore. I dont want to make you worry anymore. I just..." Kurt trails off biting his lip. "I dont want to be a problem anymore." He whispers and tears start streaming down his face again.

"Oh honey you arent a problem. We love you you. How on earth could you be a problem?" Elizabeth asks as she get up and pulls him into a hug.

"I-i dont want to be the reason we move. I c-can just do schoolwork at home or something. I dont want you t-to leave your friends and jobs just for me. Ill be better I promise." Kurt sobs out into his mothers neck.

"Son its no problem at all. At the least its looking like were going to Westerville. We wont be that far away from here. We just want you safe you are no burden we promise." Burt says as he gets up and joins the hug.

They talked about it some more the next day. Kurt still cried about how much money he was costing them, how much trouble he is and how weak he was. It broke his parents hear their baby talk about himself like that. They quickly reassure him that he is not a burden that he is loved and for him not to worry about money until he is old enough to pay bills.

They decided not to sell their house in Lima. It was almost paid off and could still be used when its needed. They rented an apartment in Westerville and switched Kurts schools. He is now attending the public middle school there. During breaks they returned to their home in Lima to ease Kurts worries and insecurities.

They found a fighting class for him to join. To all of their surprise Kurt actually enjoys it. He is still behind the rest of the class but he enjoys it anyway.

He is still a bit reserved but not as much as he was months ago. He still has nightmares from time to time most of them featured his ex bestfriend.

After what happened that day at the park Kurt decided that Blaine was practically dead to him. He gathered up any and all things Blaine left at his house, pictures of them, Blaines things that were left at his house or anything that reminded him of the curly haired boy and put in a box. He hid the box and never looked at it or thought about it again.

The more he thought about him and Blaine the more it hurt. The more it hurt the angrier he got. He never felt such strong hatred towards a person until Blaine Anderson. He was raised not to hate anybody though. So he banished all thoughts and memories of them out of his mind.

Altogether though things were slowly getting better for him emotionally. He isnt bullied anymore- although they were a few dirty looks-. He is slowly getting a bit happier. He is getting stronger. He is still quiet though. Doesnt trust anybody still. Still a bit jumpy too.

Some days are better than the other but things are looking up good ol Kurt E. Hummel.

Mitch stands up and stretches cringing at the sound of bones snapping. "Did we make the hurt from last chapter better?" He asks as he sits back down.

"It wasnt much but we just had to let you know we are still here." Scott voice speaks up making Mitch jump "Ha! Thought i was asleep didnt you?" He asks and Mitch rolls his eyes.

"Whatever fish.... Anyway Next chapter will be written soon(hopefully). We will see you all later. I need rest! Swear while I was telling the story I saw unicorns and rainbows and shit." Mitch mumbles shaking his head. Scott laughs at the crazy boy.

"Yeah see were delusional! We love you all and hope to see you soon! Dont forge to review and all that good stuff! Goodnight!" Scott says after they blow kisses and sing goodbye.
