Mercedes helped him come up with a solution; he got the boys to play games on his phone for as long as they wanted, as they couldn’t use their own in fear of running out of battery, and plus they were stupid enough not to bring a charger. He claimed that he would use Mercedes’s charger, so they could knock themselves out. He then let them watch whatever they wanted on the Television, which each cabin had. They fought for ages. He had hoped they would get tired, but instead they got more enthusiastic at yelling at each other. So he needed a new plan.
“I’m going over to the girls cabin,” Kurt exclaimed thinking they wouldn’t argue, because they know how he likes to hang with them more.
“What about curfew? Kurt…I know we aren’t that fun, but, do you really want to risk being caught?” Finn asked.
“If you want you can call her on my phone,” Mike suggested since he could use Tina’s anyway.
Puck watched suspiciously as well as Sam.
“You want to see that Blaine dude don’t you,” Puck grinned.
“PUCK!” Kurt fumed.
“Wait what?” Finn asked.
Kurt thought about it for a moment then sighed.
“Fine, yes, I was hoping I could um…say hello,”
“Kurt, you don’t have to lie to us, we’re here for you,” Sam added patting his shoulder.
“Well…what do we say if Mr Shue comes around?” Puck asked.
Kurt was surprised it was that easy to get them to agree. He would have said he was seeing Blaine in the first place.
It wasn’t true, but it had to do with Blaine so…
“I don’t think this is a good idea,” Finn frowned.
“Finn, I’m not going to make out with Blaine while you are not around, I just want to talk to him, and plus, we are only friends,”
Finn wasn’t sure but nodded when the others gave him a look.
“Fine,”
“Okay, so if Mr Shue comes just say I’m going to the camp phone to call my dad, or make something up, but please cover for me guys, and don’t slip up,”
Kurt warned Finn.
“Sure thing bro, be careful though…if he hurts you…,”
“Finn, I’ll be fine,”
“Why are you dressed like that anyway, if you are going to see Blaine?” Sam asked noticing the odd outfit Kurt was wearing.
Damn it.
If there was a chance he had to get Naked, he wasn’t going to risk his good clothes.
“I don’t want the teachers to notice me” Kurt shrugged.
“True, if Mr Shue saw you, he wouldn’t recognise you unless he saw the hair,”
“Gee thanks Finn,”
“Just be sure to be back by the morning,” Puck warned and hurried Kurt out.
Kurt rolled his eyes.
“Just friends Puck,”
“Whatever Kurt, go get your boy,”
Kurt sighed in relief when he got out and checked his watch. Half an hour, perfect.
He crept behind the cabins, keeping his head low beneath the windows, and continued to walk along during the bushes when he came near the lake. He heard noises and stopped for a moment.
“Nick be quiet, the others are not light sleepers,”
Kurt heard Blaine say.
What was Blaine doing out this late?
“So where is this said poker game,” Nick whispered loudly.
Oh no.
No no no, don’t tell me Blaine was going. He had forgotten that Sebastian invited both of them.
How many people were going?
“A few cabins ahead, the cabins in 200 is in Dorm A which is up further than us,”
“Oh I can see it from here,”
“Shh!”Blaine hissed.
Did Sebastian flirt his way in getting Blaine to go when he wasn’t around? Kurt wondered.
The two boys walked quietly up the way Blaine had pointed, not making a sound. Nick jumped when he saw a spider.
Blaine said something which Kurt couldn’t hear.
“Now is not the time to make a Harry potter reference, Blainers,” Nick scolded Blaine.
Kurt let out a small chuckle and covered his mouth quickly.
“What was that?” Nick asked turning around In worry.
“Probably one of the cabins gossiping in the night, come on Nick, you know I don’t like it out at night,”
Kurt couldn’t help but wondered what Blaine meant by that. Blaine was going against his fear of the dark to see Sebastian?
That couldn’t be good news for Kurt
Finally the cabin came in view. It was pitched black, and there was absolutely no sound, but the number said 215, so he waited until Blaine and Nick knocked on the door quietly.
A familiar face appeared at the door.
Jessie. Kurt groaned to himself. Great.
“Were you invited?” Jessie asked.
Both boys nodded.
“Names?”
Kurt heard whispers and saw Jessie nod.
“Come on in,”
The door swung open and Kurt could see someone with a torch light showing them the way in.
Kurt walked up slowly but a teacher was nearby so he dashed behind one of the cabins. The teacher frowned when the door closed and knocked on the door.
Sebastian came out this time.
“Yes sir?” Sebastian said politely. Which shocked Kurt.
“I just saw two of your boys go into your cabin, what were they doing out this late at night?”
“Sorry sir, one of them got home sick and had to use the camp phone to call his parents, I told him to do it during the day but we were practising hard for the camp comp and he didn’t want to miss out,”
The teacher didn’t look convinced.
“Why didn’t he go at dinner?”
Kurt curled further into the wall to hide himself in the dark.
“I’m not a very good liar, sorry sir, he actually went to talk to one of the girls, because he hasn’t seen her for a long time, and she showed up at the camp, it was a kind of reunion for him, and I allowed him to go but be back by midnight, you can punish me sir, but please don’t be mad at him,”
Sebastian looked like he was about to cry as he shovelled his feet.
The teacher sighed, nodding.
God he was a good actor. Kurt thought miserably.
“I’m glad you told me the truth Sebastian, who was the kid and why did he need another person to go with him?”
“I suggested he should be accompanied in case they did anything intimate, we don’t want to risk our school getting into trouble sir, honest,”
Kurt looked at his watch and frowned. 10:45. If he didn’t get in, Sebastian would declare the game over.
“Could I speak to him, young man?”
“Of course sir, I’ll get him,”
Sebastian went inside and Jessie came back out again.
“What can I do for you Mr Brady?” Jessie took out for his hand to shake.
“I’d like to know your reasons for going out tonight, don’t lie to me, because one of the students have already confessed what you’ve been up to,”
Jessie pretended to look uncomfortable.
“One of the New Directions girls was an old girlfriend of mine, and I wanted to apologise for the way I treated her, I’m sorry for causing trouble sir, I just needed to make amends,”
“You do know we allow our students to talk during the day right?”
“Yes, I’m aware, it’s just that her friends are very protective of her, and they wouldn’t let me near her, so I snuck out after asking her during lunch time if I could see her, she was aware of this fact also,”
“Very well Mr St. James, I don’t want you wondering around again, If I catch you again, I shall ring your parents or have your school be sent back, understood?”
Jessie nodded numbly.
“Sorry sir,” He whispered.
The teacher nodded and patted his shoulder.
“And tell the boys to turn of the flash lights,”
“Yes sir,”
The teacher left. As soon as the teacher left Kurt made himself visible.
Jessie smirked as he leaned against the wall.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t Mr Kurt Hummel, what brings you here?”
“Believe it or not Jessie, Sebastian invited me for a game of poker,”
“You? Why would he invite you?” Jessie chuckled.
“Don’t make me regret this Jessie, just ask him yourself if you want to,”
Jessie rolled his eyes and opened the door.
“No need to, I know who is allowed to come in,”
