Unfortunately they didn’t get to see the Warblers till the next day at dinner where the Warblers had shared the same table with the New Directions again, because first they had to unpack, then they had activities to do, which Shuester said was compulsory with the camp, they had to do vocal training, which Blaine wasn't in, as the Warblers did their session after McKinley, then they had to do dancing lessons which were just with their teachers anyway, sort of like booty camp, and then they went back to the cabin to refreshing up for dinner. Apparently sports was not compulsory as it was a show choir camp, but they had a free day the next day, and you could do as you choose so longs as the teachers knew where you where.
Kurt made sure he was the first one in the shower, because the other boys took way too long for his liking, and they preferred to lay back anyway before last minute call to the dining hall. He then made sure he got his facial routine done early, so his skin was smooth after being outside all day, and when satisfied with his outfit which Finn reckoned took him about half an hour to choose from he went to dinner. He scanned the room and was disappointed that he couldn't find Blaine so he went to his table with some of the girls that were already there in the left corner.
Kurt guessed Blaine had a boyfriend amongst his friends and was probably taking his time to get to dinner that is until Wes and David surprised him by sitting down on either side of him.
"Hey new kid!"
"Do you mind if we sit here?"
Kurt was stunned and his friends were gaping at the boys.
"Uh...no...no of course not, David, Wes, you remember these lovely ladies, Mercedes, Quinn, and Rachel," Kurt gestured to the other side of the table. Thinking that was why they were there. To meet girls…
The boys smiled pleasantly at the girls and said hello before turning back to Kurt when the other boys finally joined them said hello and sat between the girls..
"Sorry for just jumping in here, we actually wanted to talk to you about Blaine,"
"Blaine?" Kurt asked, suddenly worried that something might have happened for his absence, which was ridiculous.
"We wanted to apologise for his behaviour,"
"He's been nothing but nice to me," Kurt frowned wondering what was with these two.
"Yeah, exactly, we don't even know if you have a boyfriend, which you probably do, or so Blaine keeps trying to convince us that you would, and well, he sometimes comes of flirtatiously without knowing it," Wes grinned.
"I don't have a boyfriend, I'm the only openly gay kid at my school," Kurt corrected. David and Wes nodded.
What were they going on about?
"Sorry to hear that Kurt," Wes apologised and as soon as Blaine finally walked in with his hair gelled, wearing a red bow tie, green suspenders, and red pants, Kurt's jaw dropped. He was gorgeous, even with the ridiculous outfit.
He coughed out his shock when his friends started giggling hysterically once Blaine waved over to them and walked over. Wes got out of his seat to make room for Blaine and went to sit with the Warblers who had started talking to the New Directions on the other side of the table taking a disappointed David with him.
"Hey, mind if I sit here?" Blaine asked next to Kurt who could only shake his head in answer.
"Not at all," He finally managed to get out.
"It's a shame we didn't get to do any activities together, I really would like to get to know about you more, and your friends of course," Blaine added flashing the girls on the other side a smile.
"Get some!" Santana shouted. Kurt gave her a furious glare, which only earned a chuckle from Blaine.
" I can assure you my friends are far worst than call outs," Blaine added.
"I doubt it," Kurt replied as he watched Mercedes trying very hard to give them privacy but failing miserably.
"Hey!" The warblers exclaimed as though hurt by Blaine's accusation.Blaine just shrugged at them with a grin.
Blaine ate in silence for a bit, and Kurt couldn't help but wonder what he would want with a kid like him?
"So, … Kurt tell me about yourself," Blaine said quietly. Was he nervous? Why was he nervous?
Oh that's right.
He was talking to a boy, that he really liked.
Kurt could have sworn Blaine looked nervous. But why?
"...You aren't using Kurt as a spy are you now Blaine?" Rachel asked suddenly not far from where they were sitting.
"Rach!" Kurt groaned.
"What? Look what happened with Jessie,"
""Jessie?" Blaine wondered if he was a boy Kurt dated, his blood boiled at anyone hurting this innocent boy. Or so Kurt looked innocent.
"Rachel thinks everybody is a spy after her ex boyfriend turned out to be a spy from Vocal Adrenaline, we all told her he was using her, and she wouldn't believe us," Kurt shot her a look.
"Yeah, well how do we know the Warblers aren't spies?" Rachel questioned.
"I can assure you, we are more than for friendly competition, we are not spies," Wes said before Blaine could answer.
Rachel didn't look convinced.
"Rachel, its a competition camp, we don't have our set list with us, so relax will you?" Mercedes warned.
"Would you like to go for a walk?" Kurt asked Blaine wanting to leave the argument while it was still early, finishing his breakfast. Picturing the eggs thrown at Rachel's head made him lose his appetite. He explained the story to them as well which earned a hated glare from Rachel in advance.
"Sure! I'll see you guys later," Blaine told the other boys who rolled their eyes at him.
"Just be back in time for curfew," Thad pointed his toast at the boys. The New Direction girls nodded in agreement.
Kurt refused to acknowledge their behaviours and walked Blaine outside.
"So things seem to be going well at your school," Blaine suggested because of the friendly interaction as they left the building.
Blaine couldn't help but think what if he had gone to a public school, would it be the same as his old school, or like Kurt's.
"Well...not really, glee club is the only safe place for us kids to hang out with, getting out of school for this camp was … a relief for most of us," Kurt replied looking too sad for Blaine's liking.
"What do you mean safe? Do people hurt you?" Blaine couldn't help but ask.
Kurt went silent and thought to himself if he should trust a stranger as they walked down a pathway leading to a beautiful lake.
"Kurt...you don't have to answer, I'm sorry for overstepping," Blaine sounded serious, and had concern in his voice but he looked angry at himself for asking. Kurt smiled as he looked at him.'
"You really are something," Kurt mumbled.
Breathe Blaine...yes...just breathe.
"To answer your question, I do get bullied, nothing out of the ordinary like dumpster tossing's, or slushie facials, being shoved into lockers, but there's this one neathendral that scares the living daylights out of me, you don't know what he's capable of,"
Blaine was fuming. So the bullying hasn't stopped.
Blaine looked at Kurt.
"What do you mean capable of? What did he do to you Kurt?"
Blaine wished he could have met Kurt earlier to help him through it.
"One day I got the courage to...confront him, and ask him to back of...he um….he kissed me, and then he threatened to kill me If I told anyone,"
Blaine stopped walking and watched as tears developed in Kurt's eyes. The boy refused to cry.
Blaine wished he was that strong.
"You shouldn't have to deal with that, I...I can't …, did you tell anyone about him threatening you?
Kurt shook his head.
"You're the first person I told,"
Blaine looked touched at that and without warning grabbed Kurt's hand softly pulling him into a seat next to him as they viewed the lake.
"You are so strong Kurt, me? I ran away, I got scared and I ran away to an all boys private school because of its zero bullying policy, I wished I had the courage you had,”
Kurt looked stunned for a moment, then saw the regret in Blaine's eyes and knew Blaine probably went through something similar.
"You don't have to feel weak for running away Blaine, you can only have so much courage, look at what happened to me," Kurt replied softly.
"He shouldn't have forced you, and I wish you had told someone that could be there for you,"
"I don't want to be a burden," Kurt admitted.
"You could never be a burden," Blaine was shocked.
“I think we better get going,” Kurt regretted saying after they heard teachers calling out for curfew hour.
“Would you like to catch up tomorrow morning, before activities start? I’d like to get to know you better,” Blaine smiled sweetly.
“That’d be great, so…should I come to your cabin or …,”
“Would you like to meet here?” Blaine suggested.
“Yeah…that’d be perfect,”
“Alright…see you Kurt, it’s been a real pleasure,” Blaine got up, kissed Kurt on the cheek with a flash of a smile and he was gone.
Kurt was swooning as he happily said goodnight to the boys in his cabin and went to bed with a smile on his face.

Why did they eat breakfast at bedtime? Other than that, love the story. Very original idea.
