Porcelain loved the name Kurt. Kurt, for some reason that reminded him of something, there was some other memory than that chubby kid named Kurt from the sound of musical, but that wasn't it. He had a flashback of when he was little last night, he saw his mother, with his tea set that she had given him for his 5th birthday, but then there was a screaming noise. He was panting hard as he rested back against the pillow trying to calm down.

Kurt found himself breathe to the sound of Blaine's voice outside of his room.

"There you are Blaine! Are you coming to rehearsals this afternoon?" He heard another boy who he guessed to be Blaine's African friend yell.

"Ah...sure David," Porcelain heard Blaine pause and wonder why he didn't just leave.

"Guys, how would you feel about Kurt joining?"

Porcelain glared heatedly at the door. He didn't need Blaine introducing him to people.

"Come on Blaine, he punched you yesterday and your still sticking up for him?" Another boy asked.

Porcelain rolled his eyes, if his friends were going to be worried about a stupid punch; they sure had a lot to learn about the outside world. Everything was all too easy in this school. They really had no clue.

"I just don't want him to be alone," Blaine's beautiful voice answered. It was like music to his ears.

STOP IT KURT. Just stop it. You can change your name, but don't let him get to you.

A funny feeling entered his stomach. He did the usual, and ignored it by folding his arms over his chest.

"HE PUNCHED YOU,"

"Wes, shut up will you, you'll wake him up, besides I was a bit intimidating for him, and he apologised," Blaine defended him. Kurt scoffed at the intimidating line.

"You, intimidating? Blaine, you're like a puppy,"

Wes had a point, but Kurt growled inside. This boy really got on his nerve. How dare he tell Blaine what he can and can't do? Blaine wasn't a slave; for god's sake leave Blaine alone.

"Look Blaine, we understand you want everyone to fit in, but some people just don't want to, and we need to accept that, plus your safety is number one priority," David added.

"Isn't it part of Dalton's tradition that everyone gets treated the same no matter what?" Blaine argued.

Porcelain didn't mind David. He did want Blaine to be safe, even if David was a bit clueless as to how people really felt. Kurt did want to fit in, it's not that he didn't choose, he just wasn't sure how too. He liked being mean, liked not having to fight, sometimes he wished that he did have enough courage to fight though, there was just no point.

Yes he researched what Courage meant; it had been on his mind all night. It meant the ability to do something that frightens one. The definition was true; he was frightened to stand up for himself, so he hid behind cruel words, and isolation, but there was more to it than that.

He heard Blaine go silent.

"It's hopeless Blaine, Kurt doesn't want to be friends with anyone," Kurt didn't quite catch that line.

So he moved of the bed towards the door.

"No one is hopeless, there has to be a reason why people act the way they do, it's not because Kurt's green, there is something special about Kurt, but there is also something troubling him I can tell, and I will not give up on him, if there is still some hope,"

That one speech made Kurt feel weak, his legs gave out and he went limp. He quickly regained himself by holding onto the wall.

Blaine Anderson was going to be the death of him. He wouldn't be able to stop thinking about him if he tried. Why, why did he have to come to this school?

Kurt was breathing heavily by the time Blaine said goodbye to his friends. Kurt was not born to be loved, why did Blaine have to make life so difficult for him? He was supposed to forget everything, and supposed to ignore everything, he wasn't supposed to be feeling anymore, that's the only reason he agreed to be transferred here.

"Kurt?" Blaine called as he finally knocked on the door.

He wondered if Blaine knew that these walls were so thin.

"What do you want?!" Kurt exploded.

"I was going to walk with you to class, are you ready?"

Class?

Crap. Kurt wasn't ready.

"I'm not feeling well!" He lied, also trying to sound sick.

"Oh, you alright, do you need me to get a nurse?" Blaine rambled.

"I'm not sure what's wrong, but it's probably your fault," Kurt coughed with a smirk at Blaine's whining sound in response. He really was adorable.

"Kurt...," Blaine repeated worriedly.

"Seriously Blaine, just go and actually live, take my advice, I don't use it anyway," *Another cough*

"I'll come by and check on you later," Blaine announced.

"Don't bother Blaine, and why is it so hard for you to see that I don't want your company?" Kurt grunted.

He didn't expect to hear Blaine fight back.

"Why can't you let people actually care about you for once? You know what...I'll go, if that's what you want so be it, but Kurt, I do care about you, I just wish you would see that, I don't know what has happened to make you so angry at the world, but you're not helpless Kurt, there are more things to see in you than what meets the eye, I'll see you soon," Blaine whispered the last part. He sounded...almost broken?

Kurt had been pretty much by the doorknob at that point so he managed to catch Blaine's shoulders go limp as he decided to leave Porcelain alone.

That last part wasn't true; he did like Blaine being there, he did enjoy his company, more than anyone that he ever had before.

Kurt thought to himself for a moment. He debated on taking it back but when he opened the door 5 minutes later he saw Blaine walking down the end of the hallway, hands in his pocket not even bothering to look back.

Kurt slammed his fist against the wall annoyed at himself as he let Blaine go.

"Why can't you do anything right?" He asked allowed.

He really didn't feel like going to class now. He really did feel sick, sick because he was hurting Blaine.

"You alright?" The annoying boy Jeff asked suddenly making Kurt turn around.

"Why do you care?" Kurt bellowed.

"Because we have a no bullying policy, and the students here tend to help each other out, despite how the other feels, and I saw the way you looked at Blaine, you know, he feels the same way about you, but don't think we won't keep an eye on you," Jeff shrugged.

"Talk any more crap and I'll kick your ass, now can you go? Just looking at you is exhausting," Kurt yawned.

"Oh cut the crap Kurt, you know everybody needs a helping hand, whether you're a badass or not, being green doesn't define you and it's okay to let people care about you, but did you hear what I was just saying, or do you want me to make it more clear to you, BLAINE IS A GOOD GUY, YOU HURT HIM, AND WE WILL CUT YOU, we understand that not everybody does things the way we do things, but we do not let others bring down one of our own, got that?" Jeff threatened. Kurt laughed at how ridiculous he is.

"What are you 10? You think your little gang will scare me of? If you don't like my attitude quit talking to me, tell your childish friends to do the same, and I'll leave you guys alone,"

"What are you gonna do, punch us if we don't?" Jeff mocked.

Kurt rolled his eyes.

"Does it look like I'm in the mood to waste energy?"

"So why was punching Blaine any different?"

"He wouldn't leave me alone, something that you clearly are not doing a good job of, and I'm thinking about it," Kurt mumbled, trying not to feel that horrible feeling.

"You know what he told us? He told us that he was pressuring you too much, and he understood why you punched him, but I still don't get it, why can't you just explain yourself, I don't think you're complete wicked, you may be an asshole sometimes but if you where; Blaine would be swearing a whole lot of shit about you by now, even he can see the bad in people when they make it obvious,"

Kurt sighed.

"I do what my mind tells me to, Blaine was just nagging all the time, he's like a broken record that never shuts off, for once I actually didn't mean to do it, but temptation got the better of me,"

"Blaine didn't deserve it, I've never seen him so into someone before,"

Kurt gave Jeff a 'bitch please' look as he leaned on the wall next to him.

"You do know Blaine's gay right?" Jeff added.

"Let's save time and just assume I know everything, but Blaine DOES NOT have feelings for me, if that is what you're stupidity level has reached too, and the fact that I punched Blaine is irrelevant, the past does not have to re-write itself, Blaine is going to be in shock, if he thinks I can be helped, but his nosy friends clearly don't know how to mind their own business,"

"Before you continue can I just say that we are just worried about Blaine okay? If we knew what your intentions were, we'd leave you alone, but that's the thing Kurt, Blaine sees you as this precious jewel, and we have no idea what to believe whether or not he's been bewitched, but when we see you around other people we are shocked of your behaviour, we just don't want to see Blaine get hurt, and look we actually don't like gossip as hard as that is to believe, we like to warn people about badass's in the school, but after the punch yesterday we can't help but be concerned,"

Kurt was astonished at how deeply Blaine's friends were looking after him.

Maybe Blaine didn't need him after all.

"He won't get hurt, I can promise you that, I'll try to be nicer, if you lot try to be smarter, now those are my principles, if you don't like them, I have others," With that Porcelain went back inside and shut the door, leaving a gaping Jeff still standing outside, before the first bell rang for classes.
