"Blaine?"
Blaine shifted a little and crawled slightly out from himself, trying to compose what had just happened, but not succeeding.
"Please don't hit me again," Blaine said in barely a whisper.
He didn't sound frightened.
No, Blaine wasn't like the others, who ran away from him, who cried, or used vicious words to throw back in defence, no Blaine was someone who was used to pain. He could see it in the other boy's eyes.
"I won't," Porcelain said as best an apology he could. Blaine nodded taking a deep breath before looking up at Porcelain.
"Take my hand, or I'll have to carry you," Porcelain extended his hand waiting for Blaine to get up from the floor, it was making him queasy.
Blaine blinked several times and stared quizzically at the food on the floor as though it was some sort of puzzle to solve before allowing Porcelain to pull him up looking embarrassed at being caught on the floor.
"I thought you left," Blaine mumbled.
"I bought dinner, I figured after punching you in the face it's the least I could do, I mean you are my mentor," Porcelain rolled his eyes, trying to cover up the slight smile he caught on Blaine's face.
"Thanks ...Kurt," Blaine said shyly.
Two students walked by and were staring at the food on the ground, then at Blaine's marked face and gave him worried glances when realising Porcelain was there.
"I won't kill him, you can go now," Porcelain blurted causing them to flinch.
The two hurried of without a second glance. Porcelain could have sworn he saw Blaine look sadly after them.
"We really have to work on your people skills," Blaine contradicted.
"WE really don't have to do anything," Porcelain sassed.
"So...I was going to ask you to have dinner with me, but I'm guessing that's not an option?"
"You're asking me out on a date after I punched you?" Porcelain faltered.
"No! That's not what I meant, I didn't assume..." Blaine rambled blushing.
Wait.
"Did you call me Kurt?" Porcelain asked.
"Yes," Blaine reddened deeper.
"Why?" Porcelain asked.
"If you eat with me, I could explain it," Blaine suggested.
"If this is a date I will literally lock you out of your room for days," Porcelain warned.
"Why would I date someone who has the ability to punch me, and has scared half of the school on their first day?" Blaine questioned.
"Touch," Porcelain nodded as he grabbed the food and stepped inside after he closed his own door.
Blaine's room was...unique.
There were no posters on the walls, the colour was dark much to his surprise, he would have expected bright colours in Blaine's room, but there were DVDs on display of 'The notebook', 'Rent', 'Hairspray', High School Musical and a recent one called 'The Vow' on his walls.
A pleasant Oh...sound came from Porcelain once he realised Blaine was a secret hopeless romantic.
A big portrait of the Warblers was on the left hand side of the wall, a fencing photo was hanging on his desk mirror, photographs of friends from the school were on his desk, but there appeared to be no family photos which made Porcelain look at Blaine in wonder.
"Not a family man?" Porcelain asked as he sat down on the desk chair without being asked.
Blaine had a mini dining table in his room, where he would either eat or do homework on, and he was sorting out the dishes between him and Porcelain on some cutlery.
"If I'm going to be answering questions, I want to find out more about you," He replied gesturing for Porcelain to sit with him at the table. Instead Porcelain took his food over to the desk and sat down. Blaine sighed as he sat at his lonely end of the dining table where his food was.
The bruise on his cheek was getting worst, and Porcelain knew he couldn't stand there and just talk to Blaine without doing something about it, so he abandoned his food on the desk and went on a mission in Blaine's small kitchen.
"What are you doing?" Blaine asked with a frown.
"Nothing,"
"You're going through my stuff..."
"Correction, I'm searching through your stuff,"
Porcelain found a cloth put it under cold water, and then found some ice in the fridge to put in a plastic bag. He put the bag of ice under the cloth and walked towards Blaine.
"Hold still," Porcelain began as he gently held Blaine's face with his left hand and placed the cloth on the right side of Blaine's cheek.
Blaine's eyes finally widened, but he relaxed as Porcelain cupped his cheek and actually leaned into the touch.
This was seriously as intimate as it gets for Porcelain. However he found that he couldn't move as Blaine stared up at him with such emotions in his eyes, he felt this sudden need to protect Blaine from all evil such as himself, he felt connected to the boy. He wanted to kiss Blaine, but he couldn't.
"Uh...just hold that there," Porcelain stuttered returning back his hand and moving to where his food was with a cough.
Blaine did as he was told but he refused to remove his gaze from Porcelain.
"So why did you name me Kurt again?" Porcelain tried to change the atmosphere, back to what it was before.
"Oh! Right, um," Blaine mumbled between pieces of chicken.
"Don't talk with your mouth full," Porcelain scrunched up his face in horror.
"Who are you my mother?" Blaine smirked.
Porcelain went blank. His back stiffened at the comment and Blaine sensed a sore topic.
"Are you okay?"
"Fine,"
Porcelain saw Blaine quickly move topics, he could sense that Blaine didn't like the cold stare that returned on Porcelain's face.
"Well...um, I named you after a character in a musical,"
Porcelain's ears went red. He couldn't let Blaine know that he liked Musicals.
"What?"
"Have you ever seen 'The Sound Of Music'?"
He had to get out of here.
"Um, I have to go," Porcelain quickly got up from his seat moving to the door.
"Wait!" Blaine shouted. Porcelain turned around.
"Do you mind me calling you Kurt?"
"Anything's better than Porcelain," Porcelain decided he liked the name Kurt and was going to keep it. It may be a personal subject but Blaine didn't have to know that.
"Will you talk some more?" Blaine asked.
"After our meeting today? Not a chance," KURT grinned but then sighed heavily as he looked back at Blaine.
"What?" Blaine asked tilting his head.
Kurt searched the boy for any false advertisements, but no, he felt like Blaine was serious. He couldn't let Blaine go completely, so he did the thing that the wicked never do.
"Sorry bout your face," He whispered as he closed the door.
Blaine didn't get to sleep that night as he just caught that barely heard sentence, he was curious as to who was behind Porcelain.
