Thanks for reading. Please review.

“Please wait until the seat belt signs are turned off before exiting your seat. Thank you for flying United. Welcome to New York.” Passengers started to get up and mill about the cabin after the seatbelt sign turned off. The noise due to people getting their stuff out of the overhead bins caused Kurt to stir in his sleep. He huffed out a breath and nuzzled further into the crook of Blaine's neck.

Blaine smiled and patted Kurt's arm lightly. “Kurt, honey, we're in New York,” he whispered softly.

“I wanna sleep,” Kurt grumbled still half asleep.

“Okay, well you at least have to walk out of the airport and I can help you get a cab to your hotel. Where are you staying?”

Suddenly Kurt realized that he was snuggled right up next to Blaine and sat up rapidly. “I'm so sorry! I'm kinda a cuddle monster when I sleep,” he explained, smiling sheepishly.

“It's no problem at all,” Blaine said and offered a reassuring smile. Kurt started to move forward but he was still really sleepy so he stumbled a bit and Blaine caught his arm. “Just sit for  a second, there's still a long line to get off the plane anyway.”

“Okay,” Kurt said as he relaxed back into his chair. After a few minutes the door to the plane opened and people started flooding out and into the airport. Kurt got up and grabbed his carry on from above where he was sitting and then went to leave before turning around and waiting for Blaine. “You don't happen to have dinner plans this evening do you?”

Blaine looked up from where he was messing with his suitcase, a smile overtaking his face. “It would seem as though I do now.”

“Yeah, um, there's this diner right by my hotel. It's called the Spotlight Diner. Anyway, the reviews sounded good and the waiters sing. And-”

“Kurt, you're rambling.”

“Sorry,” Kurt cursed at himself under his breath. “I do that when I get nervous.”

“Well, I'd love to join my new found friend for dinner this evening.”

Kurt smiled and started to walk off the plane. He was still moving slow from how tired he was so Blaine took his carry on from him and placed it on his back, saving Kurt the energy of lugging it around. Kurt tried to protest but Blaine wouldn't allow him to have it back. “So should we share a cab to the diner?” Kurt asked.

“Well I'd like to stop by my hotel first and drop off my suitcase.”

“Okay good idea. I need to get my suitcases from the baggage claim.”

“Suitcases? As in more than one?”

“Fashion can't be compacted into one miniscule bag Blaine,” Kurt explained to him. Blaine just smiled at Kurt's adorableness. “Why're you smiling?”

“No reason. Do you want to go by your hotel before dinner?”

“Yeah actually that'd be nice.”

“Where are you staying?”

“The Garden Inn or something.”

“The Hilton Garden Inn right in Times Square!?”

“Yeah actually. It's kinda odd that you know that…”

“That's where I'm staying too! Come on, we'll share a cab.”

With that the boys rode in a comfortable silence to their hotel, checked into their rooms, and promised to meet back in the lobby in a half hour's time.

Blaine showered and changed into a nice pair of dark jeans and a dark blue button down, paired with a bowtie that had the city outlined on it. He looked in the mirror and saw that his hair had started to come out of its gel hold but he was already cutting time close so he didn't fix it.

Kurt went to his room and started freaking out over the handsome stranger he was about to have dinner with. He took a quick shower and rushed through his skincare routine so his skin would be fresh and soft. Maybe soft for a goodnight's kiss? No, Kurt told himself, this was not a date. After pondering his outfit for several minutes he decided on skin tight red skinny jeans with a long sleeve black dress shirt, then he touched up his hair which had been flattened from sleeping on Blaine, the memory of which made Kurt's face flush red hot. Kurt looked at the time and realized that he was going to be late if he didn't hurry down to the lobby.

The elevator sounded and Kurt stepped out to see Blaine across the lobby peering at a painting on the wall. Kurt walked over and tapped his shoulder. Blaine turned around and sucked in breath. Kurt looked beautiful.

“Is it too much?” Kurt asked suddenly embarrassed.

“No, you look amazing.”

Kurt shuffled his weight nervously from one foot to the other under Blaine's stare. After a second Blaine cleared his throat at the awkwardness and gestured for Kurt to lead the way out and onto the street. “You don't look so bad yourself…” Kurt told him once Blaine could no longer see his blushing face.

Blaine and Kurt found the diner easily and laughed all through dinner. They talked about growing up in a state that wasn't gay friendly, coming out, bullying, and all kinds of things. Conversation went from dark to light and funny to serious. The boys exchanged phone numbers over dinner and promised to meet up the day after the next because Blaine had tours set up for law schools the following day.

Blaine paid for the check despite Kurt's many protests. They walked huddled together because of the cold and Blaine, being the perfect gentlemen, who Kurt swore was trying to melt his heart, walked Kurt to his room.  “Goodnight Kurt.” Blaine said sweetly and kissed Kurt's cheek. Then he walked towards the elevator without glancing back once. Kurt knew that because his eyes never left the back of Blaine's head. Kurt was patting himself on the back for rushing through his skin care routine. After coming down from his happy high Kurt let himself into his room and threw on a pair of sweatpants when his phone alerted him to a new text message.

Blaine: Day one of seven. Tell me one thing you did today.

Kurt: I spent my whole day with you Blaine, you know everything I did.

Blaine: Doesn't matter. We said that we would tell each other one thing we did everyday!

Kurt: Why did I read that in a whiny voice… :P

Blaine: Coooooome oooooon Kuuuuurt.

Kurt: Ugh, fine. What did I do today? Well, I guess the biggest thing I did was I faced my fear of flying. What did you do today, Blaine?

Blaine: I met a Beautiful boy.

Kurt read and reread the message, his heart fluttering in his chest and then another text came in.

Blaine: You thought our waiter was cute too right?

Kurt: That would've been a lot funnier had we actually had a waiter and not the lovely waitress.

Blaine: Oh, I didn't notice because my attention was rapt by your ocean blue eyes.

Kurt: Goodnight Blaine,

Blaine: Goodnight Kurt.
