Please review :)
Music filled the small apartment in Bushwick, New York. Kurt and Rachel were hosting a New Years Eve party and had a bunch of NYADA students over. Everyone was dancing and grinding against each other all over the apartment. Kurt wasnt having a particularly good time after pulling back the privacy partition to his room and discovering his boyfriend of almost four years making out with some other guy on Kurts bed.
"Adam!?" Kurt yelled over the music. "What the hell are you doing?"
"Oh Kurt. I didnt see you there. Uh, this is Mike," Adam attempted to explain but was clearly embarassed at being caught.
"Hey Kurt," Mike said. Kurt looked at him and recognized him as one of the members of Adams Apples.
"Leave!" Kurt demanded his face growing red and his eyes filling with angry tears. Mike quickly grabbed his jacket that had been flung across the room during the activities which had taken place before Kurt had interrupted them. Adam however didnt seem to realize that Kurt was also telling him to leave.
"Listen Kurt. I can explain-" Adam started but he was cut off.
"You too. I dont want to see you right now," Kurt said trying to keep his voice even. He did not want to start crying in front of Adam.
Adam looked like he wanted to stay and tell Kurt that it was no big deal but the anger showing on Kurts face mustve convinced him otherwise. He left Kurts room while muttering something about texting him the following day.
Kurt turned around and tried to get to the bathroom before bursting into tears but he found his path blocked by people stumbling around and dancing. Finally Kurt gave up on his quest towards the bathroom climbed out the window onto the fire escape. Once outside of the loud apartment he let himself cry, and once the tears started, they showed no sign of stopping.

Blaine got to the party a little later than he had planned on but seeing that it had already started he slipped in unnoticed. He looked around for Kurt but couldnt find him. He spotted Rachel dancing with Brody across the room and walked towards them.
"Hey Rach, have you seen Kurt?"
"Heyyy Bl-laine," Rachel slurred, obviously drunk. Rachel lifted up her hand to the side of her mouth as if she was going to whisper something. "I think he is upset about Adam and that tall handsome guy. I saw Adam run out the door a few minutes ago."
Blaine was confused as to what Rachel was talking about but figured he should find Kurt as soon as possible and see if he was okay. He glanced quickly around the room and saw through a window on the far side of the room a pair of tight bright red jeans hugging nicely around a body which could only belong to one Kurt Hummel. Blaine laughed at himself for noticing the how nice Kurt looked and remembered how hed had the biggest crush on him during high school but never acted on it.
Blaine walked towards the window and upon discovering it was indeed Kurt he stepped out onto the balcony. "Whats up Buttercup?"
Kurt jumped a little at the noise but turned around and Blaine saw his tear stained cheeks. He quickly enveloped him in a hug. Kurt buried his head in the crook of Blaines neck and continued to cry softly.
"What happened Kurt?"
"I just found out Adam has been cheating on me." He told Blaine about walking in on Adam and Mike. Then he told Blaine about a text Adam had sent him saying that Kurt needed to grow up and not be so uptight. "Then he told me that hes been fooling around with Mike for two years. Thats almost half as long as weve been together!"
"I am so sorry Kurt! Atleast now that youve graduated from NYADA you wont have to see him again." Blaine comforted. It was true, this was going to be Kurts fifth year living in New York and Blaines fourth. Blaine didnt like Adam at first but he thought it was because he had a crush on Kurt. Then Blaine met his current boyfriend Gabe and his feelings for Kurt disappeared.
"But I think I still love him," Kurt confessed so quietly Blaine wasnt sure if he actually heard him. Blaine just tightened his embrace around Kurt and pressed a friendly kiss to his hair.
"Come on, lets go inside and get you something to drink," Blaine said pulling Kurt back into the apartment.
"No, I dont want to. I just want to go to sleep."
"Good luck doing that while this party is going," Blaine said with a chuckle. Kurts lips twitched into a slight smile and Blaines heart fluttered. Why did it do that? Blaine got over Kurt a long time ago... right?
"This is the first New Years party Ive been to since moving here. I was looking forward to kissing someone at midnight."
"Well then you can kiss me," Blaine answered instantly without thinking. It came across to Kurt like he was just talking about what to buy for lunch. Completely mundane. Kurt supposed that that was expected from Blaines point of view. If Kurt was being honest with himself though he would have to admit that Blaine always had some sort of power over Kurt.
"What about Gabe?"
"He couldnt make it tonight. Im sure he wont mind though. Were in an open relationship." Blaine lied. What are you doing Blaine! Of course your boyfriend will mind if you kiss another boy. Especially Kurt! Hes always thought you had feelings for Kurt.
"Okay," Kurt agreed. He chided himself for agreeing to kiss Blaine. Itll only lead to trouble, he told himself. Kurt and Blaine had been best friends since high school. Blaine transfered to Kurts school because he was being bullied at his other one. Granted the bullhing didnt stop at Mckinley but fighting it with Kurt made it seem less bad. Kurt crushed on Blaine all throughout high school. He actually only started dating Adam to get over Blaine but then he actually developed feelings for Adam.

Niether Kurt nor Blaine was sure how it happened but they ended up dancing together in the middle of the crowd. It was a slow song and Kurt had his arms up over Blaines shoulders while Blaines arms were wrapped tightly around Kurts waist.
They were too embarassed to look each other in the eye so they glanced around the room. Though most everyone there was drunk they were all dancing sweetly with their boyfriends/girlfriends. Kurt was watching Santana and Brittany across the room when he felt Blaines eyes boring into him.
"What," he asked looking at Blaine.
"Are you okay?"
"No. I will be though."
"Are you going to get back together with him?"
"No. I mightve had it just been a one night thing but he hid it for too long. Do you think I should get back with him?"
"No. He doesnt deserve you," Blaine stated. A blush rose in Kurts cheeks and he started to shake his head but Blaine continued before he could say anything. Blaine cupped his hand around Kurts cheek turning his face to look at him. "I mean it Kurt. Youre beautiful and Adam doesnt deserve you."
Kurt stared at Blaine for a few moments. "Do you really think Im beautiful?" Kurt asked in a small voice, almost afraid that Blaine would take it back.
"God yes. Ive always thought you were beautiful Kurt."
Both of them were barely dancing anymore. They were staring into each others eyes. Blaines eyes flickered to Kurts lips. It wasnt midnight yet but Kurt leaned to kiss Blaine. Blaine tilted his head and leaned in but just before their lips met Rachel Berry came running over. "Oh good, you found him!"
Kurt and Blaine pulled away from each other but didnt stop looking at each other. Is that disapointment I see in his eyes? Kurt thought.
"Yeah, I found him," Blaine said quietly in answer to Rachel but he couldnt take his eyes of Kurts. Kurts eyes were full of want and they kept flickering from Blaines lips back up to his eyes.
Rachel, having no idea that she had just interrupted the two, grabbed each of their hands and dragged them off towards the kitchen. "Itll be midnight in a few minutes. Where are Adam and Gabe?"
The boys broke eye contact as they were being dragged to the kitchen. "Adam went home Rachel."
"Yeah and Gabe is working late so he cant make it," Blaine explained. Rachel asked Kurt what happened but he couldnt tell the story again so he looked to Blaine. Blaine came to his rescue and told Rachel what Adam had done. She looked incredulously at Kurt who merely nodded in confirmation.
"Twenty...Nineteen...Eighteen..." came the crowd from around the tv and Rachel ran off to find Brody. Kurt and Blaine stood there awkwardly. "Seventeen...Sixteen...Fifteen..."
"Its almost midnight," Kurt said.
"Yeah," Blaine said lifting his head to meet Kurts gaze.
"Fourteen...Thirteen...Twelve..."
Blaine just stared into Kurts ocean blue eyes suddenly overcome with desire and want.
"Eleven...Ten...Nine..."
Kurt couldnt take his eyes off of those honey brown orbs staring back at him. He took a step towards Blaine.
"Eight...Seven...Six..."
Blaine also stepped towards Kurt and soon they were standing chest to chest still looking into each others eyes.
"Five...Four...Three..."
Kurt wrapped his arms around the back of Blaines neck and head. Blaine wrapped his arms around Kurts waist, one of his hands coming to rest on the small of Kurts back.
"Two...One..."
Blaine and Kurt crashed their lips together. It was far from the chaste kiss Blaine had been picturing when he suggested the kiss but it was also far from unwanted. Blaine ran his tongue along Kurts lips asking for entrance. It didnt even take a full second for Kurt to grant it and Blaine slipped his tongue inside Kurts mouth. He moaned at the wonderful sensation he felt. Then all too soon it was over. Kurt stood there his eyes glossed and chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. Blaine just looked at Kurt, asking with his eyes if he could kiss him again. Instead of waiting for Blaine to kiss him again Kurt just took initiative and pressed his lips to Blaines. They were unaware that everyone around them had started watching them. This time their kiss was broken up by the blairing of "Boyfriend" by Justin Bieber coming from Blaines pocket. Blaine pulled away and looked down at his pocket.
"Its-um-its Gabe," Blaine explained. Fear shot through his eyes as he looked from Kurt back to the phone. "I have to go." Without another word Blaine ran out the door of the apartment leaving Kurt standing there alone.
