2 Days until the Wedding:
Weeks leading up the, Kurt and Blaine had been very busy. After Christmas came Jude's birthday, and of course, all the kids from daycare came to Jude party. They went to a petting zoo, and lets just say, Kurt was glad to have Blaine, Santana and Lance with him.Kurt was busy planning the wedding when Burt and Carole came to DC. They decided to stay with Lance and Santana since they had a nice guest room and Burt didn't want to get in Kurt's way.Blaine was lying in bed watching Kurt get ready. He smiled as he watched, thinking, in little over 24 hours, he was going to be married to the man of his dreams."Blaine you're being a little creepy staring at me like that." Kurt giggled. "Are you okaywith me going to stay with Angela and Hodgins tomorrow night?" He asked. Blaine got out the bed and walked over to him, wrapping his arms around his waist."Yes. And Jude and I will be fine. Besides, if we run to a problem I can always call your dad or Carole for help." Blaine said kissing his neck. Kurt smiled."Now please come to bed. We both have work in the morning." Blaine said with puppy eyes. It had been very slow at work lately, not a ton of FBI murders to deal with. Kurt nodded and crawled into bed along with Blaine. It was3amwhen both of their cells went off. Blaine and Kurt rushed to get dressed when the front door opened and closed quietly. Santana walked up the stairs and poked her head in their room, letting them know she was there.When they got the Lab, Kurt looked around and walked over to Brennan."What'ss going on?Where are all the bones?" Kurt asked. Brennan looked at him."There are none. The person is alive but her face has been beaten so badly that they can't get a ID, so they called me. I told them I don't work with live people, then they called you. I was just leaving." Brennan told them. Cam walked over to him."Come on Kurt, you and me are heading the hospital. Blaine and Booth are going over there now." Cam announced. Kurt nodded and followed him to the hospital. They immediately when in and headed to the appropriate room. Booth was already speaking to a Doctor and Blaine was listening intently to the conversation.Kurt gasped when he saw the young girl. They had her sedated. Kurt took a deep breath, walked over, pulled out his book and started working. It took him three hours, but he finally had a finished portrait."There, a beautiful Irish Girl" Kurt said showing Booth and Blaine the image."How do you know she is Irish, Kurt?" Booth asked Kurt looked at him."It's easy, the tattoo on her calf, it is of the Irish Flag...and it says Irish Princess around it, but there's other tattoos that make me think you are looking at Daughter of member of the IRA or South Boston Irish Mob" Kurt said Blaine looked at her.Booth was on the phone with Organized Crime unit of the FBI. Blaine rubbed Kurt shoulder as he packed up his stuff."How old do you think she is? I mean, she can't be much older than me, Blaine. I'm 24" Kurt said as they walked out the room."I know baby..." The silence hung between them for a few minutes until Blaine finally said something. "I have to wait here till we hand over the case, then I will be home we can catch a nap and still with Make lunch with both families. Don't Finn and Brittany fly in this morning?" Blaine asked, trying to change to a happier subject as he walked Kurt to his car."Yea, and I'm going have Santana take Jude back to her place so he isn't home while we are trying to sleep. I will most likely be asleep when you get home though dear." Kurt said he got in the car. He drove home and found Santana sleeping in the upstairs guest room."Hey Hunnie, when Jude wakes up can you take him to your place? Blaine and I want to get some more sleep before the family lunch today." Kurt asked. Santana nodded sleepily as she laid back down and went back to sleep.By the time Blaine walked in the house, Jude was up and with Santana in the kitchen. He could hear them as he went up the stairs and slipped into their room. He quickly stripped and crawled into bed with Kurt, falling into a peaceful sleep. The alarm went off at eleven, Kurt yawned and rolled over to wake up Blaine."So did they get a name off the drawing" Kurt asked, clearly still trying to fully wake up."Mhm" Blaine mumbled into the pillow, " Kelsey O'Donnell. Her Father is a member of the IRA, she is a student at Georgetown in the Medical program and the FBI is now on high alert since her family will be coming into Washington to see her. They have given her Dad a free pass, but he can't talk business anything. He can only come see his daughter and not be arrested." Blaine said. Kurt nodded at the news.They showered together quickly and Kurt called Santana to ask if she grabbed nice clothes for Jude. She told him yes they would meet them at lunch. That's when Blaine saw Kurt pacing in front of the mirror."Blaine, what if something go wrong at lunch and families don't get along?" Kurt said, Blaine just chuckled and looked over Kurt shoulder."Oh you are adorable hunnie. Our families will get along and if they don't, there is one very cute boy who will help with that. Now lets get going, we don't want to keep everyone waiting now do we."They left the townhouse and headed to the Applebees near Georgetown. They walked in to see Jude showing Linda all the new stuff in his backpack. They quietly walk over to the group and sit down at the table, completely unnoticed by Jude until Colton pointed out to him that they were there. He ran over and jumped onto Blaine's lap, talking about this morning. Kurt smiled at the scene.After dinner, Blaine loaded Jude into the car while Kurt got his overnight bag."Ok, so you and Jude are going to be alright? I don't have to go you know. I can stay with you guys if you want." Kurt said as he watch Blaine close the car door."We are going be fine, I swear if anything goes wrong I will call you right way." Blaine turned to face Kurt, pulling him close. "By the way, I will be the Dashing Prince waiting at the alter tomorrow." Blaine pulled Kurt into a long kiss as Burt walked over, clearing his throat, quickly separating the two."Come on Kurt we're driving you to Angela's place, you will them tomorrow." Burt told him. After giving one final wave to Jude, they parted ways for the night."Your papa doesn't think we can go one day without him. " Blaine chuckled. "Jude, now let go home." Jude just laughed from his car seat.The afternoon when great. Blaine and Jude had great time playing and by the time they were done, it was eight o' clock: Jude's bedtime. Blaine had given him his bath and read him three stories."Dada, is Papa coming to tuck me to bed?" Jude asked with is big Glaze color eyes."Not tonight buddy. He's sleeping over at Auntie Angela's house, but we'll see him tomorrow afternoon." Blaine told him. He could see the tears begin to well up in his eyes."But Papa always tuck me in, Dada... I want Papa." Jude said tears now falling."Oh buddy... how about you come sleep with me in my bed? We can watch a movie before we go to sleep." Blaine offered. He did want to call Kurt, but Jude nodded his head and reached up to Blaine. He picked Jude up and carried him to their bed. Jude crawled under the blankets as Blaine put in Tangled and changed into his Pj's then got into bed. They both were sleep before they got to the Ugly duckling. The next morning, Blaine was awakened by Cooper pounding on the front door. He had breakfast from McDonald's and his suit in a bag with him when Blaine opened the door. He smiled at baby brother."Where is the little monster?" Cooper asked then Jude came down the stairs."Uncle Coop! I slept in Papa and Dada's bed last night and watch a movie." Jude smiled, climbing into Cooper lap. Blaine smiled and turned on the coffee maker, inviting his brother in. They relaxed all morning until Burt showed up just before noon with lunch. He just laughed at how relaxed this house was. Colton showed up next, the elder just laughed ."So how is Kurt doing?" Blaine asked as they ate lunch. Jude was eating and watch TV, away from the conversation."Angela's house is like mad zoo with all the women there. Kurt likes control. He not doing so good, he just wants everything to perfect, but he said he did sleep well last night although he was very cold." Burt said. Blaine chuckled. Once they were done with lunch, Blaine got Jude dressed first then himself. He was happy Cooper had stayed to help with Jude because as the time got closer, Blaine was getting more and more nervous. The car arrived and they all got in and headed to the Jeffersonian.When he saw his mother, she smiled and walked over to him and kissed his cheek.It was time for Cooper to take Jude to see Kurt and to his place, returning not too much later to stand next to his brother. The music started the groomsmaid walked down the aisle with the groomsmen. Once everyone was to their spots, the door opened and Kurt stood with is father. They slowly walk down towards Blaine, who couldn't help but smile the entire time.All Kurt and Blaine remember was "You may now kiss your husband." and Blaine pulled Kurt into a kiss.As they head to get pictures taken Kurt could not stop smiling. Angela had not stop crying she blamed the baby.at the reception, Blaine stood up."I just want to thank everyone for coming. This day was has been so wonderful thanks to my new husband, who put this whole wedding together, and I really want to thank our family, who don't know it yet but they'll be watching Jude for the next two weeks while take Kurt a much needed Honeymoon." Everyone laughed. Kurt smiled at his husband, this felt way different than being married Vincent.Kurt held Jude close as he swayed to the music that was playing. He was rocking the little boy to sleep when Blaine walked over to him."So Husband, you ready to hand off this little monster to my brother? He said he and Phoebe would more then willing to watch him while we're in Paris." Blaine said could see Phoebe already walking towards them."I just need two more minutes, this will be the longest I've been away from him." Kurt said, tears in his eyes. Blaine nodded.Santana had gone to the house and packed Kurt stuff, Blaine's was in the car already. Once he saw Santana smile he nodded and Kurt kissed the top of Jude head, handing him over to Phoebe, who smiled at the two men. They hugged everyone good bye then headed to the airport.
