New chapter for all of you. Hope you like it ;) Let me know what you think :) Lots of love xoxo

Blaine was sitting on the couch. He was strumming on his guitar, playing some tunes that's didn't have any words yet. His voice was silently humming along with the music that filled the room. It was one of those days were he just wanted to sit and relax and enjoy the music.

He was so caught up in his music that he didn't realize Kurt was watching from where he was leaning against the door frame.

The melody slowly came to an end. Blaine almost fell off the couch when he heard Kurt applaud behind him.

“Yeez, Kurt, You can't scare me like that,” said Blaine while holding his hand over his heart.

Kurt made his way towards the couch and took a seat next to Blaine. His hand cupped Blaine's cheek and he kissed Blaine softly.

“Better?” he whispered against Blaine's lips. His hands still cupping Blaine's face, not wanting to let go.

“Much,” whispered Blaine as he leaned forward to catch Kurt lips again. He was about to pull Kurt on his lap when Kurt's knee bumped Blaine's guitar rather hardly.

Kurt let out a wince from pain and Blaine looked a little confused. “Oh gosh Kurt, I'm sorry, I totally forgot it was there,” he said as he placed the guitar on the ground.

He carefully let Kurt take a seat on his lap while Kurt was still franticly rubbing his knee. “You ok?”

Kurt looked at him, the wince still visible on his face, “I guess so”, while still rubbing his knee.

Blaine bend down and pressed a kiss on Kurt's knee. “I'm sorry.”

“No need to be sorry, guess it was my fault,” shrugged Kurt.

“So not that I'm not happy you are here but don't you have like a ton of New York coffee lovers waiting for you downstairs?” asked Blaine.

“Actually a closed a little early for my lunch break. I wanted to talk to you about something,” said Kurt.

“Well now you have me curious,” smiled Blaine as he wrapped his arms around Kurt to keep him in place.

Kurt leaned against his chest and nuzzled into his shoulder. “I've been thinking about how I could even get more people to come to the shop and I've been thinking that maybe I should add a music night. Like Friday night, a once in a week kind of thing,” he shrugged.

“Hmm,” said Blaine while pressing a kiss on Kurt's forehead. “I think that would be nice but there are also some kind of things we should discuss though.”

Kurt nodded. “I know.”

Blaine sighed. “You know I barely see you right now as it is and Friday evening are kind of my favorites because I can spend the whole evening just with you without worrying about classes and work I still have to do.”

“I've thought about that, you know,” said Kurt in Blaine's chest. “I was thinking that maybe you could perform at evening. I could see you perform which is a win for me and you could get more experience by playing for a crowd which is a win for you.”

Blaine made Kurt sit up, his eyes wide open in shock. “You want me to perform on Friday evenings?”

Kurt shrugged. “If you don't want to that's fine but I think it could be amazing. You might even get noticed. I know you played into a band when we met but ever since you haven't told me anything about it anymore and you never perform anymore either so I thought maybe you'd like to.”

“Kurt, we've to be realistic here to. Of course I would love to perform some more but you are busy already as it is and there is barely place downstairs for a microphone and instruments and so on.”

Kurt looked like he was thinking rather hardly. “I think that could be arranged you know. We could move the couches a little so they all look to a make out stage, it would be great publicity for the shop too you know. People always ask why I'm only open in the mornings and afternoons. Maybe this is the next logical step. For the work, I've been thinking to hire someone. It's been busy lately and I'm not sure I can handle it on my own anymore as it is. That way I would also have more time for you,” he said with a shrug.

Blaine looked at him more thorough. “You've been thinking about this before, haven't you?”

Kurt shrugged. “Maybe a little.”

Blaine sighed. “Only if you are 100 % sure, I think we could do this, together.”

“Really?” asked Kurt with eyes wide open in surprise. “You'd be in?”

Blaine couldn't help but chuckle when Kurt's face started to light up from delight. “Yes Kurt, I'd be in.”

Then Kurt's lips met his into a passionate kiss. “Thank you,” he whispered and no other words were necessary.

Blaine was standing in the living room. He was wearing a white button down with black skinny jeans and a black bowtie. He had topped the look with a black hat.

He was fumbling with the button at the end of his sleeve nervously. Kurt had told him it would all be ok, but he wasn't so sure.

Kurt came walking upstairs and saw Blaine standing there, fiddling with the sleeve. “You ok?” he whispered.

Blaine looked up and nodded. “A little nervous. How is everything ok? Don't you need to help?” he wondered.

Kurt shook his head. “No I think Amber will do perfectly fine on her own. She learned quickly you know,” he said.

Amber was Kurt's new worker. After a week of searching, they had almost given up. No person who came in had what Kurt needed and Kurt didn't have the time to really learn them everything about every kind of coffee.

And while no one seemed to match what Kurt wanted, the coffee shop became found more and more by others.

That's the moment Amber came along. A girl with long brown hair who was still studying. She was sweet and bitchy when needed, just like Kurt and maybe that's the reason why they worked so well together. And to top all of that, she had experience working in a coffee shop so Kurt didn't need to explain the smallest things to her.

To Kurt, she was like a gift send from heaven. They worked out a schedule and soon enough, they had gotten into a routine. And when it was busy and Amber couldn't come around, Blaine was always willing to help, much to Kurt's relieve.

Now they were 2 weeks later and Kurt had asked him a week before if he was still in for his idea. Of course he was. He always wanted to do what was best for Kurt.

Kurt cupped his cheek and looked into his eyes. “It'll be ok, you know?”

Blaine nodded and nuzzled into Kurt's hands. “Are there a lot of people?” asked Blaine.

“You'll see,” grinned Kurt. He pressed a small kiss on Blaine's lips and turned around. “You've got 5 more minutes. Can't wait to see you play. You'll do great.”

And then Kurt was gone.

Blaine took a deep breath, did a mental peptalk and then he walked down the stairs, ready for his first gig in months.

Blaine stood at the bottom of the stairs, his mouth wide open. That he felt surprised, was the least he could say. He didn't think it was possible for so many people to get into the same room. It was crowded. A row was still making its way in the row in front of the counter. Amber and Kurt looked rather busy. There wasn't a couch empty anymore and people were even standing to see what was coming.

He looked at Kurt and saw him hold his thumbs up as Blaine made his way to the made up little stage Kurt had borrowed.

Blaine let his finger tap the microphone a few times. “Guess it's working,” he grinned when everyone was looking at him.

“My name is Blaine and I guess I'll be your entertainment for this evening.”

Blaine took a seat on the chair and placed his guitar on his legs. “I guess I have a bit of everything prepared so each one of you have something to listen to. Although I won't start rapping or screaming hard rock. I wouldn't do that you.”

Some people started chuckling much to Blaine's relieve.

He started the set simply with a few down played songs. He started with some Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and even some Disney songs.

People seemed to like it though and some of them were even singing along.

Halfway through his set, Kurt came along with a bottle of water, knowing very well that Blaine never drank coffee while playing.

He was about to start his second part when he decided to use the keyboard. He moved over there and placed the microphone in the stand.

The crowd sang along with every song, some people were even dancing and Blaine couldn't help but look at Kurt, every once in a while, watching how his proud smile grew even wider each time their eyes met.

An hour passed and Blaine drank a little from his bottle. “Now I guess my time is almost done. I'd like to end this one though on something special. First of all, I want to thank each of you for coming here tonight. It means the world to me and I'm sure it means the world to Kurt too. I hope we'll be seeing you around here a lot if you are not a regular yet.”

Some people started cheering, indicating that they were already regular. Blaine chuckled and shook his head.

“Now I'd like to end with a song I wrote a few weeks ago. It's for the most amazing man I know and I hope he'll never forget just how much I love him.”

Blaine started to play a soft melody on the keyboard. Then he opened his mouth and started singing while looking straight in Kurt his blue eyes.

I could spray-paint "I love you" on that bridge or in the sky
And I could swear when you say it to me, theres a good chance I could fly
And I might, it seems like, yeah,
If its gonna be any night, it might as well be tonight

Theres this thing that you do, you dont know that it does something to me, yeah
Its in the way that you sway, that you talk, that you touch, that you kiss, that you breathe
That I need, you look at me, boy
Youre shaking things up like you wouldnt believe,
Crashing my comfort zone, setting me free
Its a "whoda thought?", "never dream" kinda thing

Your name, your name sounds so good next to mine, just saying
And I think, I think Im gonna put it in all my rhymes, baby
Cause with you, Im gonna do quite a few things that I never thought I would do
Your name, your name, your name
Would be a good tattoo, yeah

Would be a good tattoo

Ink it in on my skin, sign me up, make it last against the time
Cause this is more than a picture that fades of a first date Friday night
Its unerasable, unmistakable, hey, everybody wants to know
Now I think I know, Ill wear it on my sleeve, I gotta let it show
Making it permanent cause I never wanna let you go

Your name, your name sounds so good next to mine, just saying
And I think, I think Im gonna put it in all my rhymes, baby
Cause with you, Im gonna do quite a few things that I never thought I would do
Your name, your name, your name
Would be a good tattoo, yeah

All my life, all I got is this one heart to give
All my life, all this time, Ive been searching for this
Oh, and it looks like I found it
Yeah, I finally found it, boy,
Its you-oo-oo-oo

Your name, your name sounds so good next to mine
And I think, I think Im gonna put it in all my rhymes, yeah
Cause with you, Im gonna do quite a few things that I never thought I would do
Your name, your name, your name
Would be a good tattoo, yeah

Would be a good tattoo

Only you, baby
Only you, no
Only you, now

The melody slowly drew out. Some people stood up and started clapping. Blaine blushed and made a little bow. “Thank you for coming tonight! Good evening.”

Blaine placed his guitar in the bag and saw how everyone was slowly leaving the room. Amber and Kurt already cleaning up a little.

Blaine took his guitar and keyboard upstairs before going downstairs to help a little.

Kurt was busy cleaning a table. Blaine sneaked behind him and wrapped his arms around Kurt's waist. Kurt stood up immediately. “Looks like your idea was quite a success,” whispered Blaine in Kurt's ear.

“Guess it has everything to do with that amazing artist I asked to play,” Kurt said playfully.

“Hmm, think it's more about the cute bartender,” grinned Blaine. He was about to press a kiss on Kurt's cheek when a towel was thrown into his face.

He turned around to see Amber grinning. “I'm only working here since a few weeks and I'm already getting sick of all the cuteness. Have some respect for a single girl, will you?”

Blaine stuck out his tongue at her as he pressed another kiss on Kurt's cheek while holding eye contact with Amber.

“Anderson, you better stop that right this moment or I'll drink your cup of coffee. The one I specially made for you,” said Amber with a knowing smirk.

Blaine unwrapped himself from Kurt and took the cup from the counter. “Thanks Amber.”

Amber grinned and helped Kurt clean a little more, just as Blaine until all the couches were at least standing ok again.

“I guess we are done for today,” said Kurt. He whipped a little sweat from his forehead. “Thank you for helping out Amber.”

“No problem, I thought tonight was amazing! See you tomorrow boss!” she screamed as she walked out the door.

Kurt shook his head. “She's something else.”

“You like her though,” said Blaine with a grin while he drank the last of his coffee.

“Don't let her know that,” he grinned.

They checked if the door was closed, before they made their way up the stairs.

They took turns into the bathroom. When Blaine entered the room, Kurt looked already fast asleep.

Blaine grinned and cuddled close to him. His arm was about to wrap around Kurt's waist when he noticed that Kurt had something lying beside him.

He took the cup and grinned when he saw what became their ritual. The only difference was that this one wasn't finished yet.

Blaine looked at the cup and saw himself in cartoon style, sitting after the keyboard. A crowd was sitting around him and Kurt was standing at the side, looking proud.

Above the drawing was written: all this time, Ive been searching for this with a little heart next to it.

Kurt was have wanted to write something next to it as the black marker was still open in his hand.

Blaine took the marker carefully and placed the date on the cup.

He stood up and walked towards the dresser. He opened the cardboard box that held all their moments in coffee cups.

Blaine crawled back into the bed and cuddled closer to Kurt. If it depended on him, there would follow much more cups because if it depended on him, this would never end.
