What do you guys think? Should I keep going with this?

chapter 2

Kurt had sat down of the coffee shop, while Blaine went to go and get their drinks. Kurt was beside himself. 4 years was a long time, and things had changed, but were still the same. His job was better paying, his loft was trendy. And now, almost hooking up with his ex.

“Grande non-fat Mocha,” Blaine announced, handing Kurt the coffee.

“You remember that? Out of all things?” Kurt took the coffee, taking a sip remembering all the times they had coffee back and the Lima Bean back in Ohio. He couldn't help but smile.

“Well you are a hard guy to forget Kurt,” shot Blaine, the pain in his eyes had faded from the years past, when their trust was broken. “Listen, Kurt-”

Kurt put up a hand to stop him from talking. “Don't. I mean we were kids, both trying to play at being adults.” He took another sip of his coffee. “We should just start over, clean slates.”

He would never admit it to Blaine, but Kurt had always wanted to revisit their relationship. Now that they were both stable, in the same city, it was the best time to try.

“So what does that mean for the two of us? Its not like we can just pick up where we left off Kurt, I-” Blaine looked down at his feet. He still got a lump in his throat whenever he tried to talk about what he had done to the love of his life. That he had felt so low to do something so horrible to him.

Kurt smiled at him, putting his hand on top of Blaines. “We were both to blame Blaine. I wasn't there for you when you needed me, and I was distant..” Kurt tried to smile. It had been 4 years since they had last seen each other, but the truth was, it was like they never stopped dating. Kurt raised his coffee cup in a toasting fashion. “To new beginnings then?”

Blaine's heart felt like it was going to pound out of his chest. The touch of skin that he had been longing to feel once more felt like electricity when the connection happened. It had been so long since he had felt like this. Everyone that he tried to date would try and hold his hand, but he would pull away, and then excuse himself from the date. He toasted with Kurt. “So what does that mean... for us?”

“Well, it means that we are going to have to start over. First dates, the whole nine. And see if we can fit our older selves into our lives. That is, “ Kurt took another swing of his mocha, “you want to.”

It was like being in a dream. There had to be something that wasn't right, but Blaine was going to go with it. He owed himself that much. He owed Kurt more. Being so welcoming, and... him. It was intoxicating to be around him again. The way that he smiled, the way his blue eyes caught the light. It was something made for fairytales. Not real life. “If thats the case, I have a great idea.” He stood up and grabbed Kurt by the hand.

“Where are you taking me?” Kurt asked as they walked a few blocks further into the city. The lights were familiar, and the street names he knew, but being in Times Square was something that every New Yorker had already experienced. Kurt dropped his hand from the warmth that was held in Blaine's hand.

“I may have already planned something, in hopes that you would have agreed to morning coffee.” Blaine sheepishly smiled.

“Presumptuous, but cute. I'll allow it.” Kurt was surprised how easy it all was. It was like finding his missing puzzle piece., again.

Blaine smiled, and music had begun to play. Within moments, he was being led up the staircase there in times square. He knew the song. It was something that he had already shared with Blaine. Teenage Dream. It was the moment that Kurt knew that he was in love with Blaine the first time. Ruined by the infidelity that Blaine shared with someone else. But it was different.

Blaine began singing, amplified only in Kirts mind. It didnt take him by surprise when Blaine began to walk down the stairs and start to dance, but it when other people that were there watching and walking by started dancing, it brought a smile to Kurts face. A flashmob. And Blaine looked adorable, a big goofy smile as he noticed the way that Kurt was looking at him. His Kurt.

He began to climb the stairs, and the last note ringing in the air, the dancers walked away like nothing had ever happened. The last note hung in the air, magically drawing Kurt towards his past love. “That was....” Kurt hugged Blaine, holding him close, feeling the warmth spread between the two of them. He didn't need words, he just needed Blaine.

Blaine was surprised at the reaction, but thankful for the closeness. The smell of Kurt's hair was intoxicating, it smelled of lavender and jasmine. Something that he had forgotten. The hug lasted for almost a minute, neither of the boys wanting to pull apart from each other.

“That's not a bad first at all,” Kurt broke the hug, still smiling, the light blush on his cheeks. He looked down at his feet, and then back up at Blaine. “So..”

There was something that he was meaning to do, and if Blaine didn't do it now, he never would. He inched closer, and kissed Kurt, his lips pressing softly at first, but when met with no resistance, he kissed again, biting Kurt's bottom lip. He broke the kiss, blushing himself. “Sorry I-”

Blaine was cut off as Kurt kissed him softly. “Clean slate remember?”
