"Rachel's birthday's in a week." He announced. "I want to get her something."
"Finn. . . ." Sam sighed. It wasn't the first time he'd brought it up.
"How about a pair of faker boobs?" Lauren suggested sarcastically. "An STD she hasn't had?"
"You should throw her a surprise." Quinn approached.
Rory sat up, smiling. "We'll help you make it uppercrust."
"Yeah, something classic, something small. . . ." Finn sighed, looking around the table to his friends. "Will you help?"
"Oh, Finn, where is the trust?"
"Trust for what?" All turned to see Rachel entering the room. Finn smiled, standing straight with his arms crossed over his chest.
Lauren rolled her eyes at him. "That you've done smut." She said without skipping a beat.
"Oh, we're just talking about the rave." Finn told her nervously.
With a smirk growing across his face, Sam reached into his pocket, pulling out a small sandwich bag filled with small little white pills. "I made the snacks."
"I've got the guide." Quinn said loud.
Rachel smiled. "I guess we're set."
"We need a ride." Sam told them.
"The church's van?" Rory motioned.
Puck looked up, slamming Finn's shoulder. "You have the keys!"
"So I should steal it?" Finn asked timidly.
"Borrow!" Lauren corrected.
"Why not?" Rachel pouted. "Please?"
Finn nearly giggled. Clearing his throat, he sat at the head of the table. "Where do I begin?"
"It's all we got!"
"One little sin." Standing up, Sam walked around the table, placing his hands upon the shoulders of his friends. 'Come to wonderland where never never finds you! Your one enchanted night of dreams disguised in swirling lights. Ten thousand friends to make an ecstasy of motion, you're floating, rolling, free to drown in possibility!'
"How far away is this rave?" Finn asked around.
"Just make sure the tank is full." Sam told him.
"Just come."
"This map is kinda vague."
"When we're close we'll feel the pull,"
Blaine looked up for a moment, interrupting the boys bickering. "I have some clothes that you can wear."
"And what is that supposed to mean?" Finn questioned offensively."
"You look like a million bucks." Quinn explained. "Wear something cheaper to the scene."
Sighing, Finn went back to the map. "There's no way to cross this road!"
"That's cause the maps upside down." Kurt laughed, rubbing Finn's head before getting up from the table.
"Our parents had it easier!" Sam proclaimed. "The disco didn't move around."
"Yeah, but who can groove to that? And what's with spelling with your hands?"
"Yeah and could you ever see them roll?"
'God, they'd never understand! Off to wonderland where never never finds one enchanted night of dreams disguised in swirling lights. Ten thousand friends to make an ecstasy of motion, you're floating, rolling, free and life is as it aught be!'
"There's more than one way to feel alive." Sam stated slowly. "That's why the party never ends. Though X is still the treat of choice, I brought along some friends." Jumping on top of the table, Sam dug deep into his pockets, pulling out two small pills. One blue, one white. "Boys and girls our show today is brought to you by the letters 'G' and 'K'!" "What? "G and K, they both intense. They enhance your X experience!"
"Professor?" Lauran laughed.
Sam gave her a wink. "Exibit A: K! Powder, white, and what a roll, but take too much and beware the hole. The K Hole is a lonely prison, echoed words and tunnel vision. This much, heaven's where you're headed, more, and you'll regret it! Exibit B. G! Liquid, clear, a bitter treatYou're rolling smooth this shit is sweet. Two capful's the most you take, any mores a big mistake. This much after X - well fed! More than that, my friends? You're dead. It's fun for all and all for fun, but keep in mind rule number one: they say, like X, this shit has limits. Play the game, but please stay in it. . . ." Jumping down, Sam placed a hand on Finn's shoulder. "Are you in or not?"
"What time?"
"We'd have to leave by nine."
"Come on it'll be fun!" Quinn piped in.
"Well I don't know, maybe. . . ." Finn rubs the back of his next, thinking over his choices. He wasn't a big party guy and drugs weren't this thing. It was either go to the rave and drive the van or stay home alone with his X-box. He has been trying to get to the next level…
"Maybe?" Her sweet voice questioned.
Finn hated himself for letting her manipulate him. Rachel was like sweet heaven to his awkward hell. He'd do anything for her. . . . "Alright I'll go." He said, and all those around began to cheer.
