To always pick up your call no matter what I'm doing.
Blaine had to mention this to Kurt, only because it was something they'd started before they were even a couple.
Just a day after meeting Kurt, Blaine was already falling head over heels for him.
And just a day after meeting Blaine, Kurt needed him more than anything.
He walked out of the locker room and it felt like the whole entire school was spinning. His hands were shaking. He took one solid step and had to run to the bathroom. Revisiting the cereal he'd eaten that morning for breakfast. He leaned against the wall and sighed.
Now what?
Who was he supposed to tell? He couldn't tell any of the guys from the glee club? They would attack Karofsky, and what good was that going to do? He couldn't tell his dad, in fear of the same thing happening. And that was the last thing he needed, being that he had just recovered from a heart attack.
Blaine.
The gorgeous curly hair boy's face flashed through his mind. He could trust Blaine. Or atleast more than he could trust anyone else. He held his iPhone in shaky hands and started to dial Blaine's number, completely disregaurding the time, and the fact that Blaine was probably in class.
Back at Dalton on the first ring, Blaine looked down at his phone. Granted he shouldn't have hand his phone with him, he checked to see who it was anyway. His calculus teacher glared at him from across the room. He attempted to tuck his phone under the desk in order to turn the phone completely on silent so the noise from the vibrate would stop echoing through the room.
Incoming call: Kurt.
He immediately disregaurded his teachers looks and walked out of the classroom swiftly and hoping he would get the phone before it went to his voicemail.
"Hello?" He whispered hoping his teacher wasn't following him.
"B-Blaine?" Kurt tried to control the sound of sobs in his voice.
"Kurt? Whats going on? Do I need to come up there? Whats going on?"
"He-he, Kissed m-me.." He shuddered at the word kiss.
"Who?"
"Karofsky." The name made him want to vomit.
Blaine opened his mouth to say something but had no words. He sighed, he felt more helpless than anything in the world. What was he supposed to do? There was nothing to do, he couldn't sneak out of school, his parents would find out. And that was the last thing he wanted was to be repremanded by his parents.
"Kurt, I'm so sorry.."
"It's n-not yuh-your fault.." He wiped a few tears off of his face.
"I just.. I wish there was something I could do, but I'm at school and-"
"Oh God Blaine! I'm so sorry! I should have thought!"
"No, Kurt, don't feel bad for calling me..And please..Anytime, call me.."
"I hope I didn't interrupt too much.."
"Just a calculus exam.."
"I'm so sorry!"
"Don't apologize..I'd much rather talk to you than be doing that.." He verbally kicked himself for saying that. Was it too much? Probably.
"Oh.." Kurt tried his best to supress his smile because now was not the time for him to be smiling.
"But I mean, call me anytime..And I would be more than willing to talk to you..But-"
He heard Kurt sniffle over the other line. He wasn't trying to do it to get Blaine's attention. He was doing it in an effort to compose himself so he could walk back out to the harsh hallways of his school.
"I'll be there in two hours.." Blaine started to walk away from the classroom he was in and walk towards his locker to collect his things.
"N-No Blaine it's not that I just-"
"I'll see you in a few hours Kurt.."
Kurt sighed, hanging up his phone. Was Blaine going to ever stop being so perfect?
