Blaine looked walked past Kurt's dorm room. He'd only been moved in for a few weeks. He was sure Dalton must have been a huge change for him. So he didn't want to bother him all the time, asking him if he was okay, or if he needed anything. He stopped at the sound of a familiar song. He'd known Kurt had a keyboard in his room, he'd helped him move in and it was one of the first things he'd carried in. But he didn't know he could play it.
Blaine continued to walk past the dorm, smile securily on his face. He was very impressed by his playing skills, he wished himself he could play like that. Maybe he'd ask him for some lessons, maybe it would give him and opprotunity to spend more time with him.
Beauty queen of only eighteen
She had some trouble with herself
He was always there to help her
She always belonged to someone else.
He stopped dead in his tracks at the sound of Kurt's voice. Sure he knew that he was in his school's show choir, but Kurt had also told him that anyone that tried out made it in, so that left him wondering what he would sound like. He didn't know what to expect, but he didn't expect the beautiful voice that was coming from the crack under the door.
I drove for miles and miles
And wound up at your door
I've had you so many times
But somehow I want more
Blaine turned around and walked back towards Kurt's door, he was now officially intrigued.
I don't mind spendin' everyday
Out on your corner in the pourin' rain
Look for the girl with the broken smile
Ask her if she wants to stay awhile
She will be loved.
He stood across the hall listening, when David and Wes walked past him. David overlooked him and Wes turned as soon as he passed him "What are you doing Anderson?"
"I uhh.."
Tap on my window, knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
I know I tend to get so insecure
It doesn't matter anymore
David turned around. "Who is that?"
"It's Kurt, the guy who just moved here..pretty amazing right?" A small smile covered his face.
Wes rolled his eyes and started to walk away, a small smile on his face. "Better hope he doesn't walk out to see you standing there.."
It's not always rainbows and butterflies
It's compromise that moves us along
My heart is full, and my door's always open
You can come anytime you want
Blaine rolled his eyes at his friends and continued to listen to the beautiful voice from behind the door.
I know where you hide alone in your car
Know all of the things that make you who you are
I know that goodbye means nothing at all
Comes back and makes me catch her every time she falls
Blaine practically swooned at the voice. He could only imagine how good Kurt looked when he sang too. He thought from the moment he'd seen him that he was the best looking guy he'd ever seen. His looks with that voice were something Blaine was sure would be the death of him.
Tap on my window, knock on my door
I want to make you feel beautiful
Kurt sang the last part before playing out what seemed like a forever-long instrumental break because anytime the music was playing and he wasn't singing along with it, was annoying to Blaine. He just wanted to hear his voice.

Kurt finshed off the song and Blaine sighed. He stood up from where he'd previously been sitting, after he slid down the wall listening to the older boy sing. Just as he was standing up the door to Kurt's dorm room opened and he began to walk out. "Blaine?"
"Yeah, I was just leaving.." His cheeks turned a lovely shade of red.
"Oh..Okay..?" He offered Blaine a small smile and watched him walk away. Secretly wondering what had gotten into him.
