Kurt opened the door practically silently to he and Blaine's townhouse and closed it just as quietly.
"Blaine?" He called quietly through out the quiet house. He turned the corner to see his husband of nearly eighteen years sitting on the couch with his head in his hands, clearly crying.
"What's going on?" He asked calmly.
"She hates me." A choked sob came from Blaine's lips.
"Who hates you?" Kurt tried his best to calm the crying man who was now draped over his lap.
"K-Karls."
"Blaine, she would never hate you? What would make you think she hates you?"
"She found out about E-Eli.." Kurt gathered the crying man into his arms. "And now she hates me, and now I'm sure that she wishes I weren't her real dad and-" A loud sob tore from Blaine's throat.
"Oh Blaine, that would never happen.." Kurt kissed the curly headed man's forehead.
He sat with the crying man until his sobs quieted. He stood. "I'm gonna go talk to Karlie, okay?" Blaine only nodded in response.
He padded down the hallway and knocked on the fifteen year old's door.
"Dad go away!" She yelled.
"I don't think I did anything wrong here." Kurt spoke softly. The door unlocked quickly, Karlie stood infront of it. Her hair disheveled, tear tracks evident all over her cheeks.
"Papa." She whimpered. "Why did you take him back? He's nothing but a nasty cheater!"
Kurt winced. "Kay, don't do this."
"No! He did the worst thing he could do! And you forgave him!" The young girl started to cry again.
"I forgave him because I loved him, I loved him more than anything in the world, I still love him more than anything in the world." He pulled his daughter close to him. "Except for you of course."
"I just don't understand why he would do anything like that.." She coughed.
"I don't either, and I don't think I ever will, but I still love him, and I always will." Kurt sighed. "And trust me, I didn't forgive him in a heart beat either. It took me some time to think about it. And I think he would understand if you needed a little bit of time to think about it too." Karlie nodded against his side. "But you can't hate him just because of this. I don't and neither should you.."
She sniffled and sat up from his side. "I'll talk to him about it tomorrow, but I don't want to tonight."
"That's okay, but you have to understand, you broke your dad's heart tonight, saying those things to him. And I get it, you were mad, but you really hurt him."
"Well he hurt you." She said simply, shrugging her shoulders.
He gave a small, sad, smile. "I love you Karls, I'll let you talk to him in the morning." Kurt kissed the girl on the top of her head. He closed her door behind her and walked back out to where Blaine had been crying.
The younger man looked up, eyes watering, straight face faltering. Kurt walked over and sat down. "She'll be fine in the morning."
"I just thought that it was over with. I thought I would never have to deal with it again." The tears revisited Blaine's cheeks.
Kurt tried his best to shush the man in his arms. "Sh, I forgave you and so will she.. I promise."
Blaine tipped his head back so that he and Kurt's lips could slot together in a kiss. Kurt pulled away and wiped a tear off of his husbands cheek.
"I love you so much Kurt, I'll never do anything like that again, I promise."
"I know, I really do. I trust you, but she needs to learn to trust you again now."
Blaine only nodded dumbly in his husbands arms.

This was really good. It was nice to see how Karlie would handle finding out that her dad and papa didn't always have a perfect relationship and that they had to get over Blaine cheating. I can't wait to see what happens next.
