Bailee walked out of the huge doors of her big elementary school and saw her mom standing close by looking for something.
"Hi mommy!" She smiled looking up at Jessica.
She quickly patted her daughter's head and smiled at her. "Come on! We gotta go to the hospital!"
"Why?" Bailee looked up at her while they crossed the street to get to Jessica's car, their fingers intertwined.
She looked up at her mom, her eyebrows furrowed, angry at her mom for not answering her.
She sat in her booster seat for what seemed like hours listening to her princess cd in the car while her mommy drove really fast. When they got to the hospital, Jessica picked her up and walked quickly through the hospital.
Bailee looked around, she knew this part of the hospital, she saw it when she broke her arm over the summer at camp. This was the part where the babies sleep.
She turned her head and saw Blaine. "Mama! Put me down!" The four year old squirmed.
Jessica put her down and she promptly ran to her brother. "Blainey!" She squealed.
"Hey Bails!" Blaine grinned, his smile extending from ear to ear. He picked her up and she nuzzled into his neck and smiled. She loved her big brother.
"You wanna see something cool?" Blaine looked her in the eye.
"Yeah.." She nodded her head, now beyond curious.
"You see that baby in there? The one with the yellow hat on?" He pointed into the glass window of the nursery.
"Uh huh?" She nodded, looking at all the babies in the room.
"That's Karlie.. She's your neice, that's mine and Kurt's baby."
She looked over at Kurt, who was smiling just like Blaine. "Really?!"
"Really." Kurt smiled at her and hugged her as Blaine passed her over to him.
"So you guys are daddies now?"
"Mmhm." Kurt smiled as he moved a stray hair off of Bailee's face.
"So..When do I get to hold her?" Bailee asked, grinning into the glass at her new neice.
