Kurt's mom waltzed into the living room , holding Kurt's tiny four year old body close to her own, humming a small tune that Kurt had never heard. He stared up at his mother like she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen in his whole life. Because to him, she was. He didn't know where the song that she sang was from, but she'd sang it to him so many times that he could soflty hum the tune with her. 

His brunette hair blew everytime she spun in a circle. Her dark blonde hair swished on the back of her neck. Kurt put his tiny fingers in her hair and giggled when he twisted it in between his fingers. She looked him in the eyes. "Will you take a nap now?" 

"One more dance?" He asked so quietly it was almost a whisper. She couldn't say no to him. He smiled at him and began to twirl in a circle again. "Only one more.." She smiled. 

While she turned him, she sang a familar tune from Sleeping Beauty. 

I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream. 

I know you, the gleam in you're eyes is so familiar a gleam.

I know it's true, that visions are seldom as they seem.

I know what you'll do

You'll love me at once, the way you did once upon a dream. 

Kurt smiled sleepily at his gorgeous mother "You look like that princess mommy, Aur-Aror-" 

"Aurora?" She sent a warm smile in his direction. 

"Mm hm.." He put three of his tiny fingers in his mouth, which to Elizabeth was the universal sign of 'mommy i'm tired'. 

She walked him into his bedroom and layed him on his bed, covering him with the small yellow blanket that Burt had bought the day that Kurt was born and brought to the hospital just hours after he'd arrived.  She smiled down at him and kissed him on the forehead. "Good night prince Kurt.." She smiled.
