AN: Thanks so much for reading!
Blaine stood over top of the counter, mixing the dough for gingerbread cookies while Kurt decorated the already baked sweets. Music played from the radio sitting across the room. The two of them sang along occasionally, but mostly just revelled in the time they were getting together, alone.
Rachel and Sam had both traveled home for Christmas and would be gone for the next week. Santana was at Danis apartment with her family and Kurt and Blaine were both sure that she would be staying there for a few days. Or at least theyd hope she would.
If youre the only thing I ever get for christmas, everything Ive wished for has come true.
Blaine turned from the counter and walked over to the other side of the kitchen, pulling Kurt away from the icing he was coloring and pulled him into his chest. He turned away and started to dance, the older boy in his arms.
He leaned his head in his shoulder, thinking of last Christmas when he was afraid he wouldnt get to see him at all, or worse than that, wouldnt want to see him. He remembered how lucky he was to have this.
Kurt smiled as he hummed into Blaines chest where he stood. Remembering the first Christmas they knew each other and how he thought hed never get the chance to tell Blaine how he really felt. And even if he did, he worried Blaine wouldnt feel the same. The kid was so oblivious he sang the flirtiest Christmas song there ever was, and simply walked out afterwards without many other words than Thank you .
The two danced in each others arms, smiles on their faces. Their Christmas wishes had definitely come true.
