The Technology came in the old times, no one thought it was weird or bad. There were a few sci-fi features on it, but otherwise it was just a sticker you put on your drivers license, a good deed.

The need for more came in 2050 when the American government illegalized abortions. There were more unwanted babies than there were parents to house them, overpopulation plagued the country, organ failures and disease rates raised as the life expectancy dwindled. The government came up with a solution: take the unwanted and orphaned babies, raise them in ‘The Facilities’ -government issued institutions for donors. Raise them to be healthy in every way, give them everything,

Except time.

Once an unwanted or orphaned baby was taken to The Facilities they would be considered a donor. They would live to their late twenties to early thirties and then they would begin their donations. The donor would live until their third or maybe fourth donation and then they would complete their purpose. They would die. But the government never called it that, these donors did not have souls, they couldn’t. these were babies born out of wedlock, out of rape, they were mistakes and subhuman. Surely they had no soul in the eye of God?

This is a story of three donors; Kurt, Blaine and Sebastian.

This is not the story of how they died in the government’s hands,

This is not the story of their struggle with fate, self hate and hate of human kind,

This is not the story of how they fought the government and changed the world,

This is not the story of how they died,

This is the story of how they lived.
