Author's Notes: I am so sorry! School got in the way & I forgot about updating... So very sorry. A bit short, so it's part one. Part 2 will be up by Friday.

Yeah so I decided just to skip to when Kurt’s at Dalton, because if I didn’t you guys would have to wait ages for the next one.

Blaine spent the whole day preparing for Kurt’s arrival. He was even able to convince the principal for Kurt to room with him, since he was one of the very few people who didn’t have a roommate.  And somehow, he got Blake to get out of his dorm and into her actual one with Sebastian.

Blaine finally finished right when Kurt sorted through all of the papers and the transfer was complete.

“Took you long enough,” Blaine said leaning against the door frame.

“No way. You’re kidding right,” Kurt said looking at his papers, “You’re my roommate?”

“Huh, what a coincidence,” Blaine stated.

“You had something to do with this, didn’t you?” Kurt asked.

Blaine put his hands up in surrender, “You got me Hummel.”

Kurt groaned at the idea of sharing a dorm with him. “Can you move? I need to rest.”

“Fine, the view’s nice from here either way,” Blaine commented with a devilish grin staring at Kurt’s ass when he face planted on the bed.

He whacked Blaine’s head with the pillow which earned him a “Hey!” in response. “We’re supposed to be friends; I guess that’s what you call us, just friends.”

Blaine shrugged, “Can’t help it if you’re sexy.”

Kurt blushed slightly and hit Blaine again.

“So now we’re having a pillow fight?” Blaine grabbed another pillow and started hitting back.

They continued whacking each other until they fell to the ground in laughter.  Blaine heard the door knock and saw a condom being slipped under the door. “BLAKE!!” he yelled.

He could hear the laughter of Nick, Justin, and Blake outside. Blaine rubbed his temples, frustrated.

“What’s that- oh. Umm...well this is awkward,” Kurt said blushing from toes to the tips of his ears when he saw the condom in Blaine’s hand.

Blaine noticed that he was still holding the condom and reddened, “No, i-it’s not like that! N-nick, Justin, and B-blake just slipped this under the door and –UGH!!” Blaine face planted in a pillow and mumbled, “Just kill me now.”

Kurt giggled. He felt like he should just forgive Blaine already, but something was telling him no. He felt like Blaine would still hurt him, even though his eyes say otherwise. Kurt shook his head, trying to get rid of the thought. “Well, I should probably get to class. Don’t want to be late on my first day.”

Blaine nodded with his head still in the pillow. He lifted his head and decided to go kill them for the condom thing. He went to the café they had in the dorm, knowing that they would be there.

Before he went in he heard them saying~

No, not that either.

Burt?

No, isn’t that Kurt’s dad’s name?

Oh, yeah. Eww… Imagine dating someone with the same name as your dad.

Gross. Hmm Kurt & Blaine, Kurt & Blaine….I got it! Klaine!

Perfect!

“I heard my name,” Blaine said, scaring Nick, Justin, and Blake.

“Fuck, Blaine. You scared us,” Blake told him.

“Pay back for yesterday,” he said simply.

“Okay, well that’s kind of fair I guess,” she agreed.

“Also, about payback,” he lifted the condom, “WHAT THE FUCK?!”

Nick, Justin, and Blake laughed hard. Nick even grasped his stomach.

“IT’S NOT FUNNY GUYS!” Blaine shouted as his face reddened.

“What’s not funny?” Kurt asked emerging from the door.

“Uhh...Nothing,” Blaine said stuffing the condom in his pocket, not wanting a repeat of this morning.

They laughed even more.

“Shut up,” Blaine hissed at them. They got quiet, trying to hide their laughs.

“Every time I talk to you guys, I regret it…Anyways, Blaine can you show me to my first class? I have no idea where it is,” Kurt asked.

“Of course,” Blaine answered.

“Just let me get coffee first,” he stated.

Blaine nodded and waited for him to leave to the line before yelling at Nick, Justin, and Blake again.

“Why?! Just why?” Blaine whined.

“Well, you guys are sharing a dormitory, and if you rearrange the letters, you get “dirty room”. And we thought we should give you protection, because after all you’re barely 17, you don’t need gay babies,” Blake explained.

Blaine gave her an annoyed and confused look, “What?”

“We didn’t want you guys to get pregnant,” she rephrased.

Blaine tried reaching across the table to chock her (not literally), but Justin and Nick held him back and said that Kurt was coming back.

“Okay…” Kurt said a bit weirded out at the scene. He handed Blaine a cup of coffee, “Here’s your medium drip.”

“You know my coffee order?” Blaine asked lovingly.

“Yeah, umm you told me...” Kurt responded.

“Oh yeah,” Blaine coughed.

“Hey, didn’t you say you had to get to class? Blaine you should take him; the teachers are pretty strict,” Blake said.

“Oh, thank you. Let’s go Blaine,” Kurt said as he grabbed his book bag.

Blaine mouthed a “thank-you” to Blake before disappearing into the hallway with Kurt.

Kurt avoided Blaine’s eyes as they made their way to his homeroom. He didn’t see the hurt in Blaine’s eyes.

Blaine knew that he deserved this for what he had done; he never knew it would be this hard. There’s just something about not being able to hold, to kiss the one you love most in the world that triumphs over all of the shit that had happened in his past.

‘When-if Kurt does forgive me, he needs to learn the whole story…’ Blaine thought. He took a shaky deep breath; he didn’t know if he was ready for anyone to know the whole story. It was much easier to shut everyone out like he had done once before. But he knew he owed that much to Kurt. And if he wanted this relationship to work-to happen, Kurt needed to know why he did what he had done.

“Blaine?” Kurt said for the third time.

“What?” Blaine asked, realizing he was staring off into space, again.

“Are you okay?” Kurt asked, genuinely concerned.

Blaine felt weird for a moment, he had to get used to this; used to someone actually caring about him. “Yeah, why?”

“It’s just- never mind. Well bye,” Kurt replied with an awkward wave.

Blaine nodded and gave a small wave back as he left to get to his homeroom. Maybe for once he would get there on time.

(Incase if you’re confused, it’s their free period and they’re at their hideout)

“Hobbit? Q-tip? Harry Potter? Demon eyes?” Blake sighed, “Fine. Blaine?”

But Blaine still didn’t reply. Either he was really in his own little world or he was ignoring her, again. Blake sighed and got out a piece of paper. She made a paper popper and popped it right in his ear.

“What the fuck was that?!” Blaine exclaimed, finally coming out of his own world.

“Finally, you’ve been staring into space for like 5 hours,” she replied with a eye roll.

“Well sor-ry for being depressed!” he said.

Blake sighed again, “C’mon.” She grabbed Blaine’s hand and dragged him out of the small lodge.

“Where are you taking me?” he mumbled, refusing to even sound happy.

“To Kurt, you really need to get fucked,” she responded quickly.

“WHAT!? I-I don’t want to see him,” he shouted, trying to get out of her grasp.

“That’s a motherfucking lie. You love him and you promised me that you’d try to get him back, it doesn’t look like you’re trying,” she said grabbing his hand tighter.

“Don’t you think I’m trying?! My heart hurts at the thought of not being with him,” he started out loud but it got into a tiny whisper.

“Blaine, if you really were trying, you would have him by now. You’ve changed. What happened to the stubborn, snarky bad boy who stopped at nothing to get what he wanted? No matter how much you don’t believe it, you’re not really trying. Is it because you’re scared? Or is it because you think that you’re not good enough for him? Is that it?

“You started to become more of your mask so Kurt would think you’re a terrible person and leave you. Blaine you are worth it. Remember that. Now get out that door and get some ass,” Blake told him. And with those words she left to the lake.

He went back inside the lodge to collect himself. Blaine smiled a bit at Blake’s rant. But then he remembered he wasn’t supposed to be happy. Happy. It was so common for him ‘bout 7 years ago, now the word was like a foreign language.

Was he really not trying? He couldn’t really tell anymore.

He scratched a bit at his wrist. A small hiss escaped his lips. He immediately regretted it.

He slowly pulled his navy blue blazer sleeve up. He traced the scars that had taken up his arms.

He hated them.

He hated how they never disappeared.

He hated how they reminded him of how weak he was.

He hated how every scar brought a bad memory with its pain.

He hated how no one had ever noticed them.

He hated that he had to hide them with bracelets.

His hatred for them is bigger than his hatred of himself. They marked his past, and everything he hates.

But as a fish once told him, “Just keep swimming.”

Yes. Just keep swimming in this pool of madness.

~*~*~*

“It started out with a kiss

How did it end up like this?

It was only a kiss

It was only a kiss”

Blaine was just really wasting his time here. Blake probably left a couple hours ago; she probably knew he wanted space.

“Let me go

And I just can't look its killing me

And taking control”

This was a real shit storm. How is he ever going to fix this?

“Jealousy, turning saints into the sea

Swimming through sick lullabies

Choking on your alibis

But it's just the price I pay”

He stopped thinking for a moment and just listened to the on-coming lyrics.

“Destiny is calling me

Open up my eager eyes

‘Cause I'm Mr. Brightside”

He listened quietly to the rest of the song. An idea was starting to form.

Yes it might work.

But which one?

Then as the final chords were strung, the next song played in his iPod.

‘Perfect,’ he thought, ‘literally.’

“QUIET!” Wes boomed, banging the gavel. Everyone got quiet for a change. Kurt looked a bit shaken up though. “Now, Blaine and Blake have a ‘warm-up’ song that they have prepared. Although it is not A Cappella.”

Kurt gave a slight curious look at Wes’s words. But he didn’t have time to wonder for long; Blaine soon came out with Blake holding a guitar.

“This one’s for that special someone. So Kurt,” he looked up and for a moment blue glasz meet honey brown, “this is for you.”
