Kurt was terrified of how Colton was going to react to the break-up, but somehow he knew that Colton would understand.
~Colton: I’m outside, waiting 4 u.
~Kurt: Okay, be out there in 5.
Kurt took a deep breath, it was now or never. “Hey,” Kurt greeted Colton.
“Hey,” Colton said with a kiss, “So what’d you want to talk about?”
“Listen, Ithinkyou’reareallygreatguy, butIjustdon’tit’sgoingtowork
out. I’m so sorry,” Kurt answered quickly. There was an awkward silence between them.
“What?” Colton asked after awhile, “You’re b-breaking up with me?”
“I’m so sorry Col, but it’s just-“ Kurt tried to explain.
“NO! No excuses, no ‘let’s just be friends’, none of that shit! What’s wrong with me, huh?! You know what, forget you! I’m glad you broke up with me! I’m tired of your endless rants on your wardrobe, your stupid ‘no hands below the equator’ rule, your whines from the slushie facials, you just in general! Good bye Kurt!” Colton exploded. He left Kurt standing in disbelief. He has never seen this side of Colton, maybe it was a good idea to break up. Kurt was just about to leave when someone grabbed his shoulder.
~*~*~
“Blaine?” Blake asked.
“Yeah?” He replied.
“Do you love Kurt?” she whispered.
Blaine frozed; he hesitated to answer. “Yes,” he whispered softly, almost as if it was a secret, “Yes, I do.”
“Then go get him, win him back,” she said in the same tone.
“I-I can’t, he hates me…” Blaine stated, his voice breaking.
“No, no he doesn’t. He’s confused, mad, and overall hurt; but he doesn’t hate you. He loves you Blaine. Why can’t you see it? You have someone who loves you. Yeah, you might of made a mistake, but who doesn’t? We both know that Kurt will forgive you. So just forgive yourself already,” Blake responded.
“You know, some times you really sound like a fortune cookie. Okay, I’ll talk to Kurt, but-“ Blaine started.
“But what?” Blake interrupted.
“But,” Blaine continued, “If I do to talk to him, you have to ask out Jeff.”
“W-what does he have to do with this?” Blake stuttered, trying to show confusion, but failing miserably.
“Save it, I’ve seen the way you look at him, all in love and stuff. And the way he stares at you during Maths,” he told her.
“I do not! And really? He stares at me? How long? Ugh I didn’t brush my hair last time, was he looking then?” she asked.
“Aww.. little Blakey’s got a crush,” Blaine teased.
“Shut up!” Blake whined as she buried her face in a pillow.
Blaine laughed. “So, deal?” He asked wiggling his eyebrows.
“Ughh,” she groaned, “Fine Blainers.”

Blaine was shaking the whole car ride over to McKinnely.
“Clam down Blaine! It looks like you’re dry humping the seats,” Blake would say every 15 minutes or so.
To where as Blaine would reply, “WELL SOR-RY! It’s not like I’m going to tell the love of my life, who hates me, that I love him. Oh, wait, I AM!” They continued bickering until they reached McKinnely.
“Well, here we are,” Blaine said nervously.
“Really? I couldn’t tell,” Blake said sarcastically. Blaine glared at her and she just said, “Ahh..there we are. Back to that kind of Anderson. Your stupid nervousness was bothering me.” Blaine just continued glaring at her. “Just go!”
Blaine sighed and let go of his stare, “So you’re gonna stay with us?”
“Nah, I’mma call a taxi and wait in the car until it shows up,” she answered. Blaine nodded. “Go already!”
“Okay, Okay!” Blaine said a little annoyed.
“Let’s do this,” Blaine whispered-mumbled to himself as he pushed the doors opened to WMHS.
He had no idea what he was getting himself into.
~*~*~
Blaine had looked everywhere for Kurt, it was hopeless. He was nowhere to be found. There was only one place he hadn’t checked, and it was the entrance at the other end of McKinnely.
He pushed the doors open and saw Kurt. Then he saw, another guy with him, kissing him. His heart felt….broken. No more like it was ripped out and stomped on. He knew he shouldn’t of fallen in love. He knew this would just turn out the same as all of the other guys he’d gone out with. But somehow, it felt different. At the first glance of Kurt, Blaine knew he was in trouble. It was love at first sight. Although it took him this much time to figure it out. Now it’s too late; Kurt, his Kurt, belonged to someone else. The thought of that felt like a knife jabbing him in the stomach to Blaine. He had to leave.
People were still filing out, so Blaine decided just to hide in that crowd and go back to his car. But he was pushed to side wall. He decided to wait for them to leave. Once they were all gone, Blaine stood up but paused when he heard a guy’s voice saying you’re breaking up with me? Then he heard the familiar angelic voice of Kurt and just frozed. He hated the idea of eavesdropping but if he showed himself now, Kurt would hate him even more.
Colton finally left and Blaine was about to go in and talk to Kurt when someone in a varsity jacket grabbed him.
~*~*~
“David..” Kurt whispered, barely audible. Kurt was shaking with fear. Dave shoved Kurt and he fell down the stairs. He was just about to leave when Kurt decided he had enough and fought back, “WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?!”
“My problem is you and your little gayass. It would be so much better if you just left already. I don’t want a pervert in the boy’s locker room anymore,” Dave said furiously.
“Oh, typical, every straight guy’s nightmare! Well, news flash! Not every guy is a gay guy’s wet dream, and you’re certainly not mine! You’re such a Neanderthal!” Kurt exploded with the same amount of anger.
“Don’t push me Hummel!” He yelled.
“And what if I do?! You’re the one who seems to do all the pushing considering I was just lying on the floor!” Kurt responded.
All of a sudden, Karofsky kissed Kurt. That was enough to send Blaine off the edge. He came over and pin Dave to the ground. He punched him several times in the face before Kurt yelled at him to stop; that he had gone through enough pain. “If I ever see you messing with him again, I’ll cut off your nipples and make you eat them!” Blaine shouted. He turned over to Kurt who was still in shock at what happened. “You okay?” he said with a change of tone.
“Blaine?” Kurt asked, his voice breaking. He nodded and Kurt started to cry. Blaine went over to him, wrapped an arm around him, and gave him a shoulder to cry on.
“Shh.. It’s okay. It’s over, he’s not going to hurt you anymore,” Blaine said comforting.
“How *hiccup, would *hiccup, you *hiccup, know?” Kurt sobbed.
“Because if he does come back, I’m going to shove fireworks up his ass,” Blaine said in the same comforting voice, which sounded really demented and creepy. But it made Kurt laugh, well sort of a laugh. “C’mon, let’s get you cleaned up and taken care of. You might need some new clothes.”
“No *hiccup, you don’t have to,” Kurt said drying his tears.
“But I want to,” Blaine responded softly, picking Kurt up with his hands to carry him to his car. Kurt’s head was rested on Blaine’s chest. He could hear his heartbeat; it was soothing. He fell asleep instantly.
~*~*~
Blaine kept on giving Kurt loving and worried glances the whole car ride to Dalton. ‘How long has this been going on?’ Blaine thought to himself, ‘If I see him ever again..’ he sighed out loud. He took one long lasting look at Kurt. Blaine knew what just to do.
~*~*~
He carried Kurt up to his dorm, being careful not to wake him. The door swung open as if Blake could sense his presence. “Hi Blainey!” she said really cheerful.
“Shh, I don’t want to wake him up,” Blaine whispered.
“Aww..Kurtie looks cutie,” Blake whispered-slurred.
“What?” Blaine asked placing Kurt on the bed.
“Kurtie looks cutie when he sleeps, like an angel,” she repeated with a giggle in her voice.
“Yeah, he does,” Blaine admitted, “Are you drunk?” She tilted her head, but never the less, with a smile on her face. Blaine turned his head to the counter and saw 2 empty vodka bottles. Blaine sighed. “C’mon let’s get you to bed.”
“Whatever you say Blainey,” Blake said happily.
Blaine dragged her to the bed and gave her some pain killers so she wouldn’t have much of a hangover later. “There, now go to sleep for a bit. If you feel like throwing up at all, the bathroom’s door is open and there’s a trash can right here in case if you don’t think you’ll make it.”
“Thanks Bee,” she kissed his cheek.
Blaine paused for a moment, but he remembered that she was drunk so what can you do, right? “Welcome.” He turned to Kurt, about to wake him up. “Kurt,” Blaine said softly, shaking him ever so softly, “Wake up.”
Kurt woke up instantly. He looked around the room, wondering where he was; then the memories came flooding back. “What do you want?” Kurt asked, still mad at him.
Blaine’s heart started to break at Kurt’s tone, but he continued, not backing down. He had to make up with Kurt. “Your forgiveness,” he said simply.
“Well, you’re not getting it. You broke my heart,” Kurt said, avoiding Blaine’s eyes.
“Listen, I know I’ve been a major ass,” Blaine started.
“The biggest,” Kurt commented.
“The biggest ass of all time,” Blaine continued, “But all my stories that I told you, they are true. The only reason why I told it wasn’t was because I mbcbviu.”
“You’re what?” Kurt asked, still avoiding his eyes.
“I-I think I’ve fallen for you,” Blaine managed to say. He couldn’t say he was in love with him. It was too soon.
“What?” Kurt asked after a while, finally looking up to Blaine’s eyes. He almost melted, staring into the familiar honey hazel eyes. But he refused to fall for Blaine again.
"I like you Kurt, from minute 1. I tried hard not to; you deserve someone better than me. I tried to push you away like I do with everyone else. I tried to hate you, but I ended falling more for you every second. You're impossible to hate. Please, just give me another chance," Blaine begged.
Kurt stayed still staring at him for awhile before saying, "No."
Blaine felt like his whole world had tumbled down, "W-what?"
"I'm not going to give you another chance; you'll have to earn it," Kurt responded.
Blaine nodded. He grabbed Kurt's hand and was surprised when he didn't let go. "Can we at least hang out every once in a while?" he asked sheepishly.
Kurt gave a slight nod. "But you'll have to earn back my trust, because right now, I don't trust you."
"Of course. I'll try even if it takes me a million years," Blaine replies softly.
Kurt just stared into space, unattaching his hand from his.
"Now that we've finish with that, ummm..about that guy-" Blaine started.
Kurt whipped his head back to Blaine with a look of disgust, anger, & pain. "Never, ever, ever-"
"Please just listen," he interrupted, "By the way he acted, I feel like this hasn't been the first time he's bullied you."
Kurt sighed and nodded.
Blaine swallowed the lump in his throat and continued, "So I was thinking about you transferring here."
Kurt quickly disagreed, "Is this your way of trying to get me to forgive you?!"
"No, no, no; it's nothing like that. I'm just worried about you. If you're not going to do this for me, do it for yourself," Blaine explained, "It doesn't look like it's safe for you over there."
"What do you know about my school?" Kurt snapped.
"Okay. Tell me you don't flinch every time you turn a corner. Tell me you're afraid to walk into the cafeteria. Tell me that you don't avoid standing close to the lockers because you're scared of being push into them. Tell me that you don't slushied at least once a day. Go on; prove me wrong," he said calmly.
"I can't," Kurt chocked out.
"Why?" Blaine asked even though he knew the answer.
"Because you're right," he replied getting tears.
"Come here," Blaine said opening his arms. But Kurt didn't accept the hug; he knew it would just make him cry. It pained Blaine a little, but he just push the feeling aside.
"But if I do transfer here, where will I get the money for the tuition?" Kurt asked changing the subject of hugging.
"I'll pay," Blaine said simply.
"No, you can't. That'll be too much," Kurt quickly responded.
"It's nothing, really. I have more money than I know what to do with. I have at least 10 million dollars in my trust fund and over 3 million in my bank account," he explained.
"But still-" Kurt tried to tell him.
"Seriously it's nothing. Like I said, even if it takes a million years," Blaine reminded him.
"Mmm, well I should be getting back home," Kurt said going to the door. He paused at the door frame and said, "Thanks again." He left before Blaine could say anything.
He sighed. It was going to take a lot of time to clean up this mess. He stayed quiet for awhile before deciding to check up on Blake. He silently crept over to her, carefully trying not to wake her.
"HI BLAINERS!!" Blake shouted out. Blaine screamed and Blake just laughed.
"You scared the shit out of me," Blaine said after he stopped screaming.
"I hoped I did," Blake said.
"Wait, so you're not drunk?" he asked.
"Nope, just buzzed a bit. Now leave because our little scene here just gave me a massive headache," she told him.
"Okay, I've got something to plan either way," Blaine replied.
"Something for Kurt?" she asked, even though it was obvious it was.
Blaine blushed and left the room without saying another word.
"Don't forget to buy some lube!" Blake shouted.
Blaine passed by the dorm door and flipped her off. She laughed and went back to sleep.
