"Nice seeing you here, Hummel." Sebastian smirked.
Kurt felt numb. He wasn't in any type of mood or feeling, so he didn't act like his usual, distant self towards Sebastian. He made his way past him and into his costume room backstage again.
What he saw brought back the memories of a few moments ago. He looks at the clock and sees that only an hour has passed. Kurt slowly starts to pick up all of the pieces of fabric that were thrown and all of the makeup and before he knows it, he is sobbing.
Sebastian has followed Kurt, sensing something different about him, and sees him curled up on the floor holding a linen roll in one hand and makeup brushes in the other. Perfect, he says to himself.
Sebastian clears the rest of the room, making it spotless. When he finishes, he makes his way towards Kurt, and he starts to rub small circles in his back.
"I can make it all better, babe," Sebastian whispers in Kurt's ear, "I'm your friend. Let me make you feel better. Trust me."
Sebastian gets up and extends his hand to him.
Kurt, against his better judgment, takes it.

Kurt doesn't realize how he got here.
He wakes up in an unfamiliar room, under torn, unfamiliar sheets, with a pounding in his head. He looks around the quarters and doesn't find anything that rings a bell.
He looks to his right and sees Sebastian peacefully knocked, under the same covers.
Suddenly, faded and hazy memories from last night flood his mind. He sees a dark, crowded bar with flashing purple lights. He sees drink after unrecognizable drink being handed to him, and being emptied just as swiftly. He recalls telling Sebastian what happened in the costume room, and Sebastian commenting in all the right places and holding his hand. Under this alcohol influence, all of the sweet nothings that Sebastian was whispering were everything that Kurt needed to hear. Then, he remembers kissing Sebastian mirroring the same hate and passion that Karofsky had, with Sebastian responding with just as much vigor.
But he doesn't remember how he ended up here. He doesn't remember Sebastian hauling him into a cab against his will, carrying him into his bedroom and sliding him into his bed. Kurt looks down and sees bruises scattered about his body, trailing his arms and waist, but doesn't remember how they got there.
But he feels this overwhelming sense of disapproval and disgust, this deep, sinking feeling of regret, and then it clicks.
Kurt rips his way out from under the heavy and stained blankets, throws on his clothes, and is out the door in a matter of seconds.
He walks home at three o'clock in the morning, the cold air clearing his mind, giving him too much room to think about everything that has happened to him in these last hours.
He was hate-kissed by David, a homophobic, closeted gay night guard, and then, under the pretense of 'helping out a friend' was horribly influenced into drinking his judgment away and was forced into bed by Sebastian.
Kurt finally makes it home, thank God he had his keys and wallet in his coat pocket, and takes a long shower.
He makes himself a pillow and blanket fort and cries. He cries and cries until he falls asleep.

Kurt wakes up in darkness again, and he realizes he slept through the entire day. He calls Tina and Brittany and asks them if they can bring his car to his house. He told them where his spare car key was and answers no further questions. They bring him his car and he thanks them quietly, but doesn't tell them anything.
He stays at home for a few days, finishing the designs faster than he ever would have. He finds that he has too much time to think, so he returns the next day, hoping the hustle and bustle of Broadway will distract him from the hell-hole he's been living in.
But it doesn't. He finds himself face to face with Sebastian more often than not, and Sebastian's carefree attitude starts to take a toll on Kurt.
Kurt was walking and Sebastian purposely bumps into Kurt, and he flips. Kurt recollects all of his feelings, everything that happened (excluding the Karofsky incident), all of the things that he went through to Sebastian, yelling at the top of his lungs. Everything spews out like verbal diarrhea, it won't stop and frankly, Kurt feels good letting it all out, not caring who hears. Sebastian is slightly embarrassed. He tries to keep his nonchalant face, saying that he never cared for Kurt's feelings and that Kurt should be thanking him for getting David fired, and that's when the girls jumped in to Kurt's rescue, defending him and taking care of him from then on.
Kurt grew from the situation, but he was never quite the same. He wasn't the silly romantic that he once was, he was closed off and guarded. He never let anyone else in, and most of all, he let his hope for love be stashed away.
