They all hated her. They were all laughing. No-one understood. They could all go to hell. She left the boy who shoved his stupid little microphone into everyone's faces on the floor. He wouldn't do that again. Her shoes squeaked on the floor, her eyes hazy, and the gun heavy in her hand. Who was left? Most of the idiots she had to cope with on a daily basis had run on their way, outside to safety. She'd managed to get to a few of her tormentors. Tall, athletic people, the intelligent ones. No speech impediments for them, no working hard to fit in. They were all normal, they would graduate and become successes. They didn't deserve it. All their petty little teenage melodramas. What did they know of struggle? She looked at the door to the choir room. Were they in there? Those stupid little songs, all their joy and enthusiasm. She and the coach had spent so long trying to give them hell, trying to give them a piece of their own medicine, drag them down but they kept going, happy and joyful. They had each other. It made her sick.
She turned away; she'd save them for last. She walked down the hallway towards the gym and looked around. Suddenly the light changed, a shadow from the door then a sound inside the gym. Perfect. She threw the door open and saw him. Recognition flashed in his eyes before it flashed in hers. Anderson. The little Cheerio, Glee Club shit. She grinned. He was the cheeriest one, strutting the halls like he was some superstar in training. All his perfect clothes, perfect body, perfect voice; sickening. They'd tried to drag him down but he'd even taken that in stride. He'd muttered that nothing they did could subject him to was as bad as the separation from Hummel once. Stupid idiot shouldn't have cheated. Maybe Hummel would be better off without him. Maybe, or would be cry for him?
She followed him as he ran into the locker room and out as he slammed through the door. She stood at the top of the bleachers as he ran down. She knew there was police but her eyes were trained on Anderson. She fired twice and thought she saw blood before the world went black.
