The night after the funeral went by all too slow. There was too much talk about David and his family and how "unfortunate" the whole situation was.
Though Blaine didn't find it to be that way at all, he nodded along with his father, acting as the mourning school friend.
"School sure will be different." Blaine stated, hiding his smile under his napkin, when he went to wipe a spot of spaghetti sauce of his face.
"I'm sorry, son. This must be hard for you," Carl responded, shaking his head sympathetically.
"Well, he wasn't really my friend." Blaine admitted.
That part was true.
"But, I'll miss seeing his face in the hallway."
That part was not.
Blaine took his clean plate over to the sink, placing it gently beside the others. He gave his dad a parting wave and headed up to his room.
The domicile was freezing.
Blaine hurried over to close the wide open window, which he didn't remember leaving open.
Shivering, he quickly grabbed the spare blanket lying at the end of his bed, and wrapped it around himself.
He shuffled over to the thermostat, raising the temperature a few degrees, before plopping down on his bed and pulling his chemistry textbook out of his backpack, along with a blank piece of paper and a pen.
Blaine began writing down important words and sentences before a voice made him jump and almost fall of his bed.
"I was waiting for you." Kurt's soprano rang in his ears.
Blaine looked up and attempted to gather some amount of composure.
"Kurt- you can't just..." Blaine sighed and scooted over to give Kurt room on the bed. "...do that."
Kurt sat down next to Blaine and tilted his head to the side innocently.
"Do what, Darling?"
Blaine deadpanned and closed his textbook, turning to face Kurt.
"You know what." Blaine whispered, and Kurt laughed.
Kurt's laugh captivated Blaine, almost like honey was dripping from the demon's mouth and all he wanted to do was lick it up.
His head fell against the pillow, resisting the urge to devour Kurt's mouth.
Kurt rested his head besides the curly-haired boys, which didn't help the urge at all.
Kurt smiled, and Blaine shivered, a jolt of cold air hitting him from underneath the blanket that he was still tangled in.
Kurt reached out his arms, a silent invitation for Blaine to come curl up next to him.
He nearly declined, when his mind chimed in.
‘If you think you're already crazy, what's a little cuddling with a demon going to change?'
The corners of Blaine's mouth rose a bit at his own mind's point and scooted closer to Kurt until he was completely consumed by Kurt's warmth. Then, Blaine didn't feel cold at all anymore.
He knew this was wrong; he knew it was so wrong to be this close to someone who would only hurt him. Someone who would probably get bored of him and move onto to someone else; god, Kurt was doomed to haunt the world forever.
He knew all of it was horrible and immoral. Kurt was a murderer-a murderer who wasn't even alive! - He was a slave to the darkness.
When Blaine snuck a peek at Kurt from where he was curled up in his chest, however, all he saw was an angel peering back down at him, and, in that moment, nothing felt more right.
"What was that all about?" Kurt's voice brought Blaine out of his reverie.
"What?" Blaine asked, wondering if Kurt could read his mind.
"You...today... in the cemetery." Kurt bared his teeth when he smiled, remembering what happened earlier today. Blaine did the same thing, trying to recall what exactly the demon was referring to.
He reflected on the cemetery, seeing the white gates, hearing David's mother's speech, seeing Kurt and- Oh.
Kurt was referring to the thumbs up Blaine had given him a few hours before.
"Oh- Um... I was just-"Blaine stuttered out, trying to remember why he did it exactly.
"You were praising me for killing that guy. That was sweet of you, Blaine." Kurt murmured, playing with a curl on the top of Blaine's head.
His eyes widened, realizing the truth in those words.
Oh god! He actually did that; he essentially was proud of Kurt for decapitating David.
Blaine groaned and shoved his head further into Kurt's chest, trying not to drown himself in his own guilt.
Kurt giggled and tugged on Blaine's hair, wordlessly asking him to bring his head up.
Though it was the last thing Blaine wanted to do, he obliged.
When they were face to face, Kurt pressed his lips to Blaine's, letting a sugary- sweet taste fill Blaine's mouth and infect his thoughts, calming him down.
Kurt switched their position faster than light, and, then, he was on top of Blaine, who had his head squished into a pillow. The demon leaned down, so their chests were flush against one another's.
"You liked it, didn't you" He whispered into the tan boy's ear. "Watching me slaughter that horrible boy?" Kurt purred, nipping at Blaine's earlobe.
Blaine's head was nodding before he knew he was doing it, and Kurt chuckled again.
Blaine's eyelids were falling heavy over his eyes, drunk by the aroma of Kurt, the lullaby that was Kurt's voice, and the electric touch that sparked though his body every time they touched.
"I knew you did, I saw it in your eyes-"Kurt ground down on Blaine, drawing out a moan from the boy.
"You loved it."
Kurt's hands ran up and down the boy's torso, slipping under his shirt, and scratched at the skin there.
When Blaine opened his mouth to respond, Kurt attacked his neck with his lips, which made Blaine's jaw fall open, and he moaned,
Loud.
His eyes opened a few seconds later, only to see Kurt's eyes had turned opaque black.
However, Blaine was not scared; he knew they were black from lust, which just made Blaine even more turned on.
Kurt couldn't be imaginary because this felt too real to be imagined.
Blaine's hips jerked up to bump against Kurt's own, making the demon growl in pleasure. A sound that was more arousing than frightening.
Blaine was too turned on to function properly, so he let Kurt work his magic on his neck, soaking up the feeling. Everything was perfect until-
"Don't you want to kill someone too, Blaine?" Kurt hissed, and Blaine snapped out of his horny state of mind.
Moment ruined.
Kurt looked up when Blaine stopped responding, his eyes filling with the blue he was used to seeing.
"What?" Kurt queried, confused, moving up Blaine's chest.
"Are you serious?" Blaine gasped, incredulous.
Kurt shrugged, and Blaine exhaled.
"Why would I do that?"
Blaine knew he wasn't a bad person. He knew Kurt knew that, so why would Kurt want him to do such a thing?
"Because it would make me so happy." Kurt answered, ghosting his lips over Blaine's Adam's apple.
‘Of course it would.' Blaine thought. Kurt was evil, he enjoyed inflicting pain on people.
"Don't you want that?" Kurt prodded, and the curly haired boy felt another urge to kiss his pretty lips.
Blaine wanted nothing more than for Kurt to be happy- albeit happy with him.
He tried convincing himself he hated Kurt, but he knew no matter how much he told himself he did, he didn't.
Sometimes, Blaine thought he could be falling in love.
Like, right now.
Blaine could stay like this forever, and the more he shut out the good part of his brain, the one telling him things like ‘You're only Kurt's play thing, nothing else.' The more he wanted to be with Kurt until the end of time.
"Yes, Kurt, I do." Blaine confessed, "But... I'm not like you. I couldn't... hurt someone."
He hoped Kurt would understand, but, when did he ever?
"You could," Kurt argued, and Blaine felt like the demon was actually trying not to lash out.
"I mean...yeah. Everyone could. It's just... not me, you know?"
Kurt rolled off Blaine and pulled at his collar, dragging Blaine up with him.
"If it wasn't you, you wouldn't have praised me for killing that human, Blaine."
Kurt was getting annoyed. Blaine knew the tone very well.
"Stop lying." Kurt demanded in a growl.
"I want to make you happy- I do." Blaine stated, his voice borderline desperate, and Kurt smiled.
He hauled Blaine onto his lap and wrapped his arms around Blaine's waist.
"Then, come on, Blaine." A musky black took over Kurt's eyes, slowly filling them with the colour. "Play with me."
Blaine knew he was going crazy; he knew he would never agree to something like that. He knew deep down, inside, he wanted to push himself off Kurt and run instead.
But Blaine went against his morals, he went against everything he believed in, and agreed to follow the captain's orders.
"Okay, Kurt."
Kurt squealed in return. He pressed his lips hard against Blaine's again, Blaine greedily consuming the sugar that came along with Kurt's lips.
Before he knew it, Kurt was spinning him around the room.
They stopped spinning after a short while, and Kurt held Blaine close.
"This will be so much fun, sweetie." Kurt promised, and Blaine grinned uneasily. "We'll find someone."
Kurt came closer to Blaine's face, so their lips were barley touching.
Blaine looked up and caught Kurt looking at him mischievously. The demons eyes narrowed, and he leered.
"Tomorrow."
