Author's Notes: Okay, i lied. The big date with be next after this Chapter. i wanted to get some other people's opinions across first :D And introduce a new character!!! i hope you all like it
“He’s cute” Rachel smiled as she swirled the wine in her glass, Blaine rolling his eyes as Ava brushed her dolls hair, sitting cross legged on the floor.

“That’s the fifth time you’ve said that in the last hour” Blaine sighed, sipping his beer, Ava looking up at him with wide eyes.

“Is Kurt your new boyfriend?” she asked and Blaine bit his lip.

“I’m not sure sweetie” he sighed and Ava shrugged her shoulders.

“I wouldn’t mind if he was Daddy, he seems nice. And he has very nice eyes” the little girl smiled, going back to brushing her dolls hair, Rachel smiling widely.

“ I agree. He was rather dreamy. I would definitely date him if he was straight” she smiled and Ava looked up at the woman, a frown forming on her face.

“But Aunty Rachel, I thought you had a boyfriend.” Ava frowned and Blaine raised an eyebrow.

“So did I” he grinned and Rachel flipped her hair over her shoulder.

“So? I happen to think Kurt is cute. But yes, my boyfriend happens to be extremely sexy and extremely famous”

“I wouldn’t say extremely famous…” Blaine mumbled and Rachel hit him lightly.

“Famous enough for my liking. Besides, Kurt is also famous, and that will be booming in the coming weeks I’m sure” she smiled and Blaine nodded, setting his drink down.

“I don’t know if that’s a good thing. I mean,…” he was cut off by the ringing of the phone, Ava’s eyes lighting up as the doll slipped out of her hand. She jumped up and grabbed the phone in her little hands, pressing the green button, a voice coming through on loudspeaker.

“Hello?” a voice questioned and Ava beamed.

“Mummy!” she cried and Santana laughed.

“Hey querido! How’s my little Chica?” Santana asked and Ava clicked off loud speaker and held the phone to her ear, wondering away as she babble to her mother about her day, Blaine turning to Rachel.

“Ava has enough fame in her life with her mother dating a supermodel and her uncle being an actor. She doesn’t need a music producer father dating a new pop sensation.” Blaine sighed and Rachel hit him again, this time a little harder.

“Are you listening to yourself? Blaine! This is about your happiness! And does it really matter if Ava has a little bit of fame in her life? She’s a smart girl, it hasn’t effected her so far, and who’s to say it will now?” Rachel asked and Blaine bit his lip, grabbing his drink again.

“I don’t know. Am I making a mistake?”

“Since when was you liking someone a mistake?” Rachel asked and Blaine laughed.

“There was Jackson…”

“Let’s not go there” Rachel smiled and the pair took a sip of their drinks.

“Was he good in bed?” she asked and Blaine choked, his eyes growing wide as Rachel waggled her eyebrows.

“Rachel!”

“What! Was he?” she grinned and Blaine blushed.

“Amazing” he whispered and Rachel beamed.

“ All the more reason to keep him around.” She smiled and Ava came running back into the room holding out the phone to Blaine.

“Mummy wants to talk to you” she smiled and Blaine took the phone as Ava climbed into Rachel’s lap.

“Hello?”

“What’s this I hear about a new cute man coming into my little Hobbits life?” Santana asked and Blaine rolled his eyes.

“Nothing. It’s not official… we’re having dinner tomorrow.” Blaine sighed and he heard Santana giggle.

“Awww dinner. How romantic. Have you fucked him?” she asked and Blaine gasped.

“Santana! Don’t use that…. I… We… um… we did … it… if that’s what you mean” he coughed and Santana laughed.

“Oh Blaine! You are so dapper! I’m sorry. I’ll rephrase the question to make you feel better. Did you and this Kurt make wonderful gay love with each other in soft silky sheets in candlelight?” she asked and Blaine blushed.

“Not exactly like that. But… yes” Blaine smiled and Santana squealed.

“My Baby! Having sex! Finally!” she cried and Blaine laughed.

“Yep. Thank you for calling” he smiled and Santana sighed.

“Well, I missed my little angel, she seems so grown up. Britt and me have our flights booked for two weeks time. So be prepared big boy,” she laughed and Blaine smiled.

“That’s great.” Blaine smiled and he looked over at Ava, who was now having her hair braided by Rachel.

“We can’t wait” he sighed and Santana coughed.

“I have to go. Britt just got home with dinner. I’ll call tomorrow I promise. Love you” she sighed and Blaine closed his eyes.

“Love you too” he sighed as she hung up, Blaine placing the phone on the table, turning to face the two girls on his couch.

“Miss Ava, you blabbed to Mummy about Kurt didn’t you?” he asked and Ava grinned.

“Yes. Mummy should know when you have a new boyfriend” she smiled and Blaine went to reply, a voice from behind him cutting him off.

“Who has a new boyfriend? It better not be Rachel” a tall male grinned from behind Blaine, his warm eyes on the two girls who sat on the couch, Ava racing over to him, jumping into his arms.

“Uncle Coop!” she cried and Blaine rolled his eyes as Cooper clapped him on the shoulder, taking a seat beside Rachel, kissing her cheek.

“Would I do that to you?” Rachel smiled, Blaine huffing.

“How did you get in?” he asked his brother and the man shrugged.

“Key” he smiled and Ava crawled off his lap so Rachel could finish her hair.

“Nice of you too call” Blaine sighed before he offered Cooper a drink, the man shaking his head.

“I’m good. Just had drinks with a new agent. Claims to be so much better than the wonderful one I already have.” He sighed and Rachel frowned.

“You didn’t hire them did you?” she asked and Cooper shook his head, putting his arms on the back of the couch.

“ No way. I don’t want to suffer the wrath of Quinn, I still have to deal with her outside of work, I’d never hear the end of firing her. I was just in it for the free beer.” He smiled and then he turned to Blaine.

“ Now, what’s this I hear about a new boyfriend Squirtle?”

“Don’t call me that”

“ Fine. Blainers” Cooper beamed and Blaine rolled his eyes, sitting down on the floor.

“I met someone. We’re having dinner. End of story” Blaine sighed and Ava jumped up, looking at her uncle.

“His name is Kurt, and he is very pretty. He had a sleepover with Daddy” she beamed and Cooper grinned.

“That’s my brother!” he cried and gave Blaine the thumbs up, Rachel hitting him before she leant into him, his arm curling around her waist, his chin resting on her head.

“But seriously, good for you” he smiled and Blaine watched them, biting his lip.

“How is it that you two have the most clashing personalities, yet you are so perfect together?” he asked and Ava wondered off to her room, Rachel looking up at Cooper.

“I suppose that’s why we work. We like… difference” she smiled and Cooper grinned.

“I find her OCD and bossiness cute” he smiled and Rachel frowned.

“I do not have OCD” she growled and Cooper rolled his eyes.

“May as well have.”

“It’s not a crime to want a clean house Cooper” Rachel huffed, sitting up as Cooper grinned, kissing her cheek.

“I know. But there’s a clean house… and then there’s a house run by Rachel Berry” he sighed and Blaine laughed.

“He has a point” he mused and Rachel glared at them..

“What is this? The Anderson’s vs. Berry night?” she frowned and Cooper shrugged.

“It could be. If Mum and Dad were here” he sighed and Blaine nodded. It was no shock that the two men’s parents did not take a strong liking to Rachel Berry. She was most definitely in their opinion, wrong for their first-born child. She was ten years younger than him, in it for the money apparently, and more importantly, they did not like her fathers at all. Family dinners usually ended in disaster, however they seemed to like Santana.

“Such a lovely girl” Blaine’s mother had said.

“Why don’t you date her Blaine?” his father had asked one day after Santana has left after dinner, Blaine feeling a rather large stab of annoyance toward his parents.

“Because I’m gay Dad, and Santana liked girls” he rolled his eyes and his mother frowned.

“I’m sure that’s just as excuse to keep you on your toes” she sighed and that was when Blaine gave up trying to convince his parents of anything.

“ Speaking of Parents, are they coming here for Ava’s birthday?” Rachel asked and Blaine shrugged.

“If they pick the phone up once in a while then yes, I suppose they are.” He sighed and Rachel nodded.

“My Dad’s said they’d definitely be here” she smiled and Cooper stood up.

“We should get going. We’ll be here for breakfast at 8” he smiled and Blaine frowned.

“Why don’t you just stay in the guest room?” he asked and Rachel nodded.

“It sounds nice” she looked at Cooper and he grinned.

“Well. I was planning on having a pretty steamy night with my gold digger” He winked and Rachel laughed as he scooper her up into his arms, Blaine pointing to the door.

“Get out.” He laughed and Cooper nodded, carrying Rachel towards the door.

“Good night Blaine!” she giggled as the door closed behind them, Blaine chuckling as Ava raced into the room.

“Daddy, I have something to tell you” she beamed and Blaine frowned.

“Did you squeeze out all my hair gel again?” he asked and Ava shook her head.

“Nope. I made a wish” she giggled and Blaine smiled, kneeling down in front of her.

“Really? And what was this wish?” he asked and Ava shook her head.

“I can’t tell you Daddy. But it came true.” She grinned and Blaine kissed her forehead.

“I’m glad” he smiled and Ava nodded.

“I know.” And with that she hurried off again, Blaine watching her with a smile on his face. Somehow he’d done it, he’d raised a lovely little girl. Though somehow that didn’t seem as hard as meeting Kurt for dinner.

“I’m going to fuck it up” he smiled to himself and grabbed the ice cream out of the freezer. He would worry about the date after he’d watched the latest episode of House.

End Notes: So yeah! Rachel and Cooper are together! I'm going to go more into how that happened in later chapters, but for now i thought it was just something a little different and cute. Let me know if it works for you and if it doesnt, why? ahah. Hope you liked it. Dont forget to review :D

it did work for me 9 - can't wait for the next update :)

Cooper and Rachel have to be one of the oddest pairings I've seen in a fic yet. I'm curious to see how it plays out.

This chapter was awesome. I absolutely loved seeing Cooper and I really think him and Rachel make a cute and funny couple. I enjoyed the sibling interaction between Blaine and Cooper and thought Santana was hilarious.
