Dear Blaine,
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I’m heading out for Ohio today. Right now actually. I had some downtime before boarding and I figured I’d write this and mail it to you when I landed. Hope your x-mas is good, and your New Year's even better.
-Kurt
He doesn’t talk about how he’s worried about how to get Blaine’s present to him. Doesn’t mention that he’d bought him two weeks before the break-up. But they’re Katy Perry, Blaine’s favorite, not Kurt’s. Kurt doesn’t mention that he spent a whole afternoon crying to Teenage Dream when they showed up in his mail three days after the whole debacle. He couldn’t say that.
Dear Kurt,
X-mas was fine. Currently it’s New Years Eve and Cooper left me a bottle of Corona’s finest and some Rom Coms. Figure I’ll get through those and pass out. All the best.
-Blaine
He doesn’t talk about how thrilled he was when Burt called him to invite him to their Christmas dinner. He doesn’t mention how disappointed he was to learn that Kurt was at his maternal grandparents for the afternoon. He can’t bring himself to mention that he probably won’t drink, because everytime he does he just wants Kurt. Wants Kurt every moment of the day. Can’t be without Kurt. He couldn’t say that.
