Dear Kurt,
Your boss sounds cool. Tina took me to see The Odd Life of Timothy Green. It was cute.
-Blaine
He doesn’t talk about how the whole thing reminded him of his and Kurt’s used to be future. He doesn’t talk about how when he had pictured their children, he wanted to name their son after his grandfather, Timothy. Or that he had wanted to name their daughter Lily, like Harry Potter’s mom only spelt L-I-L-L-I-E. He doesn’t talk about how when the people at the concessions counter had something about how cute he and Tina looked together all he could think of was the barista saying the same thing to him and Kurt back in the Lima bean. He couldn’t say that.
Dear Blaine,
That movie looked good. I got knocked into by some guy in the Starbucks in Time Square. He spilled his coffee all over me and then offered to pay for the coffee I was in line for. He said he liked my scarf.
-Kurt
Kurt doesn’t mention that the scarf he was wearing was what Blaine had gotten him for the Christmas after they first met. He doesn’t talk about how the guy had asked him out. He doesn’t say that he had turned it down. Said he was in a relationship. Then ran out when he realized that he really wasn’t anymore. He couldn’t say that.
