Author's Notes: Well folks, here you have it. The end of a two day long era.

~Six Months Later~

“Babe?” Kurt grins as Blaine uses the pet name.
“Yeah, honey?”
“Um, well, how opposed are you to meeting my parents?”
Kurt nearly spits out his spaghetti, “Um...I---”
“Babe, chill. Breathe. If you don’t want to meet them, I can just tell them no.”
“No-no. I would love to meet them. It’s just I didn’t realize you had told them about us.”
“Well no. And Coop didn’t either. It’s just lately they’ve only come to visit on the one day a week you aren’t sleeping in that hospital, and I always have to raincheck them because I don’t want to miss my chance to see you, and well it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to make my mom go ‘Oh, Blaine’s repeatedly skipping family gatherings, must have a boy.’”
“Blaine you know I didn’t want you to skip those just for me.”
Blaine rolls his eyes, “I didn’t do it for you, I did it for me. I can’t stand being apart from the person I love.”
“You’re crazy.”
“So are you. But anyway, my mom and dad would, and I quote, “Love to meet the boy that is preoccupying so much of our Blaine-y’s time.’ End quote.”
Kurt giggled, “Well I think I can get away with Friday night, how’s that?”
“Perfection.”

~A Week Later~

Blaine snakes an arm around Kurt’s waist as Kurt knocks on the door of Cooper’s apartment. A short woman with dark hair opens the door and immediately engulfs Kurt in a hug, “Oh you must be Kurt!” She shrieks than gathers her son in a hug, “Come in, come in. Elise just set Amber in her highchair so we should probably get on with the eating.” She leads the way to the kitchen, even though both Kurt and Blaine know where it is, and they’re greeted by Elise, “Hey Kurt, Blaine! How was the trip over?” Cooper comes in behind her and hugs them both, “Good I hope?” Blaine nods and Kurt answers, “It was perfect. It’s starting to snow, who knows we might get that white Christmas after all.” Everyone chuckles and a large man resembling a mixture of Cooper and Blaine walks in, clapping Blaine on the back, “Hey, son! How you been? It’s been a while!” Blaine grins, “Sorry, dad!” The man just nods, “Oh and you must be Kurt! Nice to meet y’kid!” The man claps Kurt on the back and Kurt hisses in pain, Blaine scolds him, “Dad! Watch it!” The man raises his hands, “Sorry! Sorry! Didn’t realize.” Kurt rubs his shoulder and shakes his head, “No, no, it’s fine. I’m good. Just an old injury.”

When everyone’s sat around the table and eating, Blaine’s mom smiles at Kurt, “So Kurt honey, what is it that you do?” Kurt flashes a small smile between bites, “I’m a Neurosurgeon.” Elise lets out a low whistle, “Blaine-y you sure know how to pick ‘em!” Cooper looks mock offended, “Hey!” Elise just pats his knee and Blaine chuckles, “Yes, Elise. Yes I do! Don’t I Amber?” The baby gurgles in response and everybody coos over her. Blaine’s mom points a fork at Kurt, “So, Kurt, how’d you and my baby boy meet? Blaine and Coop have been pretty tight lipped about the whole thing?”

Kurt exchanges a look with Blaine.
Looks over at Blaine’s mom, “Well Mrs. Anderson, it’s kind of a funny story.
