Author's Notes:

Yeah, that was really random. Please review!

In the days following Kurts first words in eight years, Kurt and Blaine seemed to become impossibly closer. They would always walk each other to classes and sit together in lunch and Glee, whereas before they would only really interact in English and after school. Although he hadnt spoken again since that day, Blaine was glad that Kurt seemed to be opening up to him a little more. It seemed as if since their conversation, Kurt had finally started to believe that Blaine genuinely wanted to be friends with him. Blaine was still incredibly shocked that hed been the first person that Kurt spoke to since he was eight, but he never commented on it as he was afraid that it would scare Kurt off. He really wanted to be friends with Kurt, and it finally seemed as if Kurt really wanted to be friends with him two.

The two boys had also begun to spend more time with each other after school doing more than just studying. They would often watch movies together and just go to each others houses for the sake of talking to each other instead of actually doing something productive. To Kurt, Blaine was sort of...his best friend. He wasnt sure if Blaine felt that way but Blaine was the best friend that Kurt had ever had. Okay, so he was the only friend that Kurt had ever had, but he couldnt imagine anyone being such an amazing friend.

And once again, Kurt and Blaine becoming closer caused Kurts feelings for the other boy to increase rapidly. He was pretty sure he was in love with Blaine, but it was the first time that Kurt had really crushed on anyone so he wasnt sure how strong his feelings were supposed to be. Kurt wasnt sure how he was supposed to deal with his crush either. He was terrified to tell Blaine because, well, they were best friends and if Blaine didnt feel the same way then hed probably never speak to Kurt again and he also didnt know how in the hell he was supposed to handle a relationship without being able to speak to his partner anyway.

Something that slightly confused Kurt was the fact that as soon as he and Blaine started to become close, Finn had started to act as the protective brother and he would often quesiton Blaine when they were all in a room together without Burt or Carole. Kurt was incapable of doing anything but rolling his eyes at his step brother whenever this happened, although he found it immensely sweet. Kurt loved that Finn wanted to be his brother and not just some guy who lived in the same house as him because their parents got married. He found it sweet that although Finn didnt understand why Kurt didnt talk, he accepted it and treated him like a normal person. He, well...he sort of loved having Finn as a brother...until he completely mortified Kurt one day while they were watching a movie.

The day started out perfectly normal; Kurt and Blaine went shopping with a few other people from Glee Club but they mostly just lurked behind and didnt really talk to anyone else, content to be in each others company for the day. It didnt start becoming mortifying until Finn caught up with the two boys and started to talk to Blaine about Kurts secret quirks that only his family knew about.

It began when they walked past a toy store and Finn decided to say, "Hey Kurt, that teddy looks like the one that you keep behind your pillow until you go to bed."

Kurts eyes grew wide with embarassment as Blaine laughed a little and looking at Kurt with a sort of...adoring look in his eyes.

The next time it happened was when they went back home with Blaine and they were trying to find a movie to watch. Finn, being the typical boy he was, suggested that they watch a horror movie before noticing the look on Kurts face that screamed hell to the no! before saying, "Oh yeah, you dont like horror movies," And then continued the humiliation by turning to Blaine and saying, "The last time we watched one he peed his pants, literally."

That was the one that snapped Kurt. He stormed out of the room and up to his bedroom, slamming the door behind him and sitting on his bed with his arms crossed over his chest. Really, Kurt shouldve been expecting Blaine to follow him upstairs but when he heard the other teen enter the room, he nearly jumped out of his skin.

"Sorry, I shouldve knocked or something," Blaine said when he saw Kurt jump. "Are you okay?" He asked, moving to sit next to Kurt on his bed.

Kurt just shrugged, wrapping his arms around his legs and effectively hugging himself.

"Hey, hes just teasing you. I dont care what he says anyway, it doesnt change my opinion on you. I think its kind of endearing actually..."

Kurt looked up at Blaine shyly through his eyelashes and smiled a little.

"I have a question though...do you really keep a teddy under your pillow?" Blaine asked, causing Kurt to groan and hide his face in his hands. "Aw, Kurt." Blaine cooed, laughing a little.

Kurt sighed a little, removing his hands from his face and turning around to face his pillows. He picked the top on up to reveal a small, brown, tattered teddy bear.

"Ive had it since I was a baby." Kurt said extremely quietly, picking the teddy up and showing Blaine.

"Do you actually sleep with it?" Blaine asked as Kurt nodded a little. "Aw, thats the cutest thing ever."

Kurt groaned again and threw himself face first into his pillows.

"Hey, why are you embarassed? Its sweet. Im not judging you, I promise."

Kurt mumbled something into his pillow but as it was only the third time that hed spoken, he was still really quiet and Blaine couldnt understand what he was saying.

"I cant hear you." Blaine said as Kurt turned his head to the side and repeated himself, seemingly quieter than before.

"Can we just go and watch the movie, please?"

"Sure," Blaine smiled, getting off the bed with Kurt following behind him. "And ignore Finn if he says anything, okay? I dont care if you peed your pants watching a horror movie or whatever else he wants to tell me."

"Okay." Kurt replied as quiet as before with a little smile, following Blaine out of the room and back down to the living room.
