Dear Journal,

I’m a married man. I, Kurt Hummel-Anderson have a husband. 

Holy shit. 

I can’t say that when I woke up yesterday morning, I knew I would have quite such an exciting day, but I don’t regret a thing. Blaine and I had only just gotten back together again, and while we made sure to take some time to talk in between all the -ahem- reuniting, I kinda figured we would take things as they came. Ha, well, I guess we did take things as they came…

Remind me never to underestimate the unholy combined power of Brittany, Santana and Sue again, kay?

I know people are thinking it, hell, Blaine and I are thinking it, but just because this was sooner than we might have planned, doesn’t mean it isn’t right. This was always going to happen one way or another. For all the reasons that this could be a bad idea, I keep thinking about how, if we’re lucky, Blaine and I will get to be married for more than 60, or even 70 years. 

This man, this beautiful, kind, generous and loyal man who loves me so much is mine for the rest of our lives. We’re only just starting out in our adult lives, and we get to do it all together. Share everything together, from the lows to the highs and everything in between. 

Who knew, way back when in that silly little coffee shop back in Lima, our story would be even better than ‘When Harry Met Sally’? “When you realise you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible.” I don’t think truer words have ever been spoken…

Blaine has gone out to get us some breakfast, and I can’t wait for him to get back to me. I feel so happy right now I could burst.
