"I got the job," Blaine said as he walked in the bedroom that night.
"That's great honey, which part did you get?" Kurt replied sleepily, watching as Blaine got ready for bed.
"Nothing big, just a costumed ensemble role," he called out from the bathroom.
"It's still honest work though, and that's nothing to sneeze at in this economy. What character are you playing?"
Blaine mumbled something back, but the sound of rushing water was too loud.
"What was that, honey? I couldn't hear you."
"I said," Blaine repeated as he walked up to the bed, "I'm playing a carrot."

Times are hard and Blaine is lucky to get a paying job in his chosen field straight out of college. He definitely wouldn't let his ego/pride get in the way of making kids happy while receiving a steady income. Kurt would poke a little fun (oh just imagine the puns...), but ultimately, he would always support Blaine ♡ (and let's be honest, Blaine would rock the shit out of that carrot suit ;))
