Four months, that is how much time has passed since they found out that they were expecting. Morning sickness finally behind them, Blaine stood at the stove in their tiny kitchen making breakfast for him and Kurt.
Kurt was still asleep. He had slept through the night for the first time since they had received the news. Carole joked with them, that is their bodies ways of preparing them for all of the sleepless nights they would be experiencing once the babies were born.
Blaine carried the tray to their bedroom, almost tripping over a chair. Their apartment had seemed so much bigger, when they had first moved in. He was wondering when it had gotten so much smaller.
Carefully sitting on the bed, Blaine balanced the tray on his lap and nudged Kurt. "Hey baby, it is time to wake up."
Kurt stirred, slowly opening his eyes. "You made breakfast? How sweet." Due to morning breath, he sat up and only pecked Blaine's cheek. "OH! Pancakes!" He exclaimed.
Blaine laughed. "Of course. You slept well last night, however you kept mumbling pancakes in your sleep. I think the babies were trying to send me a message."
Kurt chuckled. "I can't believe you aren't having any cravings yet."
"Oh I am. Ignore the triple chocolate brownie mix box in the garbage. The batter never made it to the oven to be baked." Blaine shrugged his shoulders and blushed.
"Are you giving life to a chocaholic?" Kurt inquired.
"No." Blaine chuckled. "I also ate an orange, dipped it in the batter. That was at least something healthy."
Kurt grimaced. "That is disgusting."
Blaine shook his head. "It was very tasty, sweet and sour. Just like me sometimes." He winked and leaned over kissing his husband on the cheek.
Kurt blushed. "If that is your way of asking for a blowjob, babe, forget it. I have to eat, get dressed and go to the office. The shipment of fabric is due in, and if I am not there to oversee them unloading it, they will most definitely damage the satin and silk. That is not acceptable."
Blaine shook his head and took a bite of pancake. "Nope was just stating a fact. I have to get to the music store and see if they have the music sheets I had requested for the theater group."

Rachel had just walked in the door from rehearsals and decided she was hungry for hummus and crackers. When she went to the cupboard that she kept her crackers in, she was shocked to find that not only her crackers were gone, but also the chips and pretzels she had bought to have everyone over for Pictionary, later that week.
Finn was lounging on the sofa, his legs propped up on the coffee table in front of him. Empty food containers and bags lay scattered around him.
"Finn! What the hell?" She yelled. "My crackers, and the snacks for Pictionary night. Is there any food left in the house at all?"
"I am hungry, and I didn't feel like cooking." Finn shrugged. "It's not like we can't go shopping and buy more."
Rachel looked and saw her empty hummus container. "You don't even like hummus. Why would you eat it?"
"It is actually not that bad when you mix it with peanut butter and honey." Finn explained as he popped a cracker covered in the gooey mess into his mouth.
Rachel shook her head. "Our grocery budget has tripled since you became pregnant. Between rehearsal and working, I simply can't get another job. You are going to have to see if you can get more hours at work."
"I can't work anymore hours than I already do." Finn stated. "I am categorized as part time, and I work the maximum they allow. Besides, it can't be good for the baby if I work too much."
"Please!" Rachel threw her hands up in the air. "Women in third world countries work in fields until they deliver, most of the time delivering right there in the fields."
"I am not a woman." Finn pouted
"Thank god for that. You wouldn't be able to handle being a woman." Rachel shook her head. "I will help you clean up, then, we have to go grocery shopping. Before you ask, yes we can go to the market that always has the free samples out."
Finn jumped up and hugged Rachel, placing a soft sticky mess of a kiss to her lips. "I love you."
"You are lucky I love you too." Rachel giggled. "Now start cleaning this place up, while I shower and change. Then we will go."

Carole pushed the cart as she and Burt walked up and down the aisles. Burt, randomly throwing food into the cart.
"Burt, you know you are not allowed to eat half of those things." Carole stated. "Pregnant or not, you have to stick to a heart healthy diet."
Burt glanced sideways at Carole and gave a gruff groan. "It is not me who is hungry for these things. The baby is sending me mental messages."
"I have heard all excuses, except that one." Carole laughed. "Switch the chips to baked chips, and the cookies to low fat. You know you have to stay healthy, to keep the baby healthy. We are switching out the burgers you got for either tofu burgers or turkey burgers. Your choice."
"Turkey." Burt grumbled. "Make sure they are the seasoned ones. The others taste like shit."
Carole bit her lip trying to keep from laughing more. "How would you know what shit tastes like?"
"I don't mean...oh for god's sake woman." Burt shook his head. "I am so glad Kurt lives in New York. You are reaching his level of obsessing over me and my health at a scary rate."
"We only do it because we love you." Carole smiled up at him. "Besides deep down, you love that we care so much. You are too much of a macho man to admit it."
Burt didn't reply, instead he attempted to sneak a pack of chocolate bars into the cart.
"Burt Hummel!" Carole said loudly. "You know you are supposed to be watching your sugar intake also. What am I going to do with you? You are worse than when I would take Finn shopping, when he was a kid...well even after he grew up, before Rachel took on that responsibility."
"I bet none of the boys have to watch what they eat." Burt grumbled again. "It is what the baby is hungry for. Shouldn't we show the baby love and feed him or her, what he or she wants?"
Carole shook her head. "Switch it out for the sugar free chocolate bar. You have to learn to make healthy choices for both you and the baby. I am not about to have a mini you that I have to monitor this grocery cart, every time we come to the store."
Burt followed Carole to the checkout. "Did you at least get me my near beer? I can pretend that is the real stuff, if I close my eyes and shut down my taste buds."
Carole held up the twelve pack. "You know the limit is one a day. It may not have alcohol, but it is still high in sodium."
Burt threw his hands up in the air. "I give up."
Carole laughed and hugged him tightly. "Only five more months, babe. Then you will say it was all worth it."
