"Kurt how have you been feeling?" Dr. Franklin asked with a smile.
"Fat, but otherwise okay." Kurt sighed, rubbing a hand over his abdomen.
"Well you are looking good." She patted his shoulder. "Today, I will be giving you an ultrasound, Blaine too. We can wait until he is done with getting his vitals and joins us to continue."
Kurt got excited. "We will get to see our babies?"
Dr. Franklin laughed. "Yes, Blaine should be in here soon. Why don't you lay back and I will check to make sure your measurements are where they need to be for twelve weeks."
Kurt did as she instructed, Blaine knocking lightly before walking in. He sat beside Kurt and took his hand. "Lisa, the nurse said we are getting ultrasounds today."
"That is what Dr. Franklin just said." Kurt nodded, as the doctor pressed on his abdomen. She glanced at Kurt's chart then refelt his abdomen. Kurt got nervous.
"Is everything alright, doctor?" He asked, chewing on his bottom lip.
"I will know more after your ultrasound." She said, giving him a reassuring smile. "Blaine, your turn to get measured, then we will start with your ultrasound."
Blaine and Kurt switched places. Blaine gave Kurt a quick hug, whispering, "Everything will be fine." He laid on the table, Kurt now holding his hand as the doctor proceeded.
Finn layed on the exam table embarrassed by being exposed for the measurements and now an ultrasound. Dr. Johnson was kind and understanding. "You will get over your shyness by the time you are ready to deliver you little peanut."
Rachel laughed. "Finn has always been shy about his body. Even when we did Rocky Horror for Glee club in high school, and he had the part of Brad."
Finn frowned. "It is still weird."
Well take a look at your baby, then maybe you can relax. He turned the scree towards Finn and Rachel.
Rachel squealed. "So tiny. Is everything okay?"
Finn squinted at the screen. "What am I supposed to be looking at?"
The doctor laughed. "The black and white form in the center is your baby."
Finn frowned. "Is it deformed?"
Rachel slapped his arm. "No, that is normal. The baby still has to grow more."
Blaine and Kurt looked at the screen. Blaine's ultrasound went well, they got excited over seeing one of their babies for the first time. They were now looking at the screen still in amazement.
"I love you so much." Blaine kissed Kurt softly.
"I love you too." Kurt mumbled through his happy tears.
Burt sat in his truck. The photo from the ultrasound in his hands. "Doesn't it bring back memories from when Elizabeth was pregnant with Kurt?" Carole asked smiling at her husband.
"It does. Except now I know exactly what she went through. You too of course with Finn." Burt gave Carole a quick kiss, handed her the photo then drove them home.
