“Where’s Papa?”

One of the small girls who had been coloring at the coffee table looked up at the doorway where her father was standing. “Upstairs… he needed shower,” she said, waving a hand that held a purple crayon through the air.

Kurt smiled and walked into the room. “Perfect. Can all of you get up on the couch? I want to talk to you about something.”

The two identical six year old girls and their seven year old brother climbed up on the couch as Kurt made his way over and perched himself on the edge of the coffee table. He folded his hands in his lap and licked his lips quickly. “Okay, tomorrow is Papa’s birthday. I was going to make him a cake tonight after he goes to sleep. Do you three want to help?”

“Cake!?” Wyatt exclaimed in a happy voice.

Kurt laughed softly and shushed him, waving his hands through the air. “Honey, you need to be quiet. Papa can’t know. It’s a surprise.”

“Wha’s a sup-ize?” Lorelei asked, playing with her long brown hair.

“It means Papa can’t know because we’re going to show him later to make him happy,” Kurt said, reaching out to pick up the small girl and pull her into his lap. She giggled and nodded before snuggling back against Kurt’s chest. “So,” Kurt said, pressing a kiss to the top of her head before looking back at Wyatt and Willow, “After Papa goes to sleep I’ll come get you guys and we’ll make his cake.”

Kurt slipped out of bed, after a bit of struggling out of Blaine’s arms. He made his way out of the room and down the hall to Wyatt’s room. “Sweetie,” he said in a low voice, pushing the door all the way. The blonde boy sat up quickly and smiled widely at Kurt. “Daddy!” he said excitedly. Kurt shushed him and waved him over.

Wyatt climbed out of bed and walked over, grabbing Kurt’s hand. The two of them walked to the other end of the hall and opened up the door to twins’ room. The hall light streaked across the floor and landed on Willow’s bed where she and Lorelei were curled up together at the head of it. Kurt cooed softly and padded across the room to sit on the edge of the mattress.

“Lore, Willow,” he murmured, reaching out to brush back the part of Willow’s small mohawk that had fallen onto her forehead.

Willow blinked open her eyes and yawned loudly. “Hi, Daddy,” she mumbled, reaching a hand up to rub at her sleepy eyes. Kurt grinned and leaned forward to press a kiss to her forehead. “Hi, sweetie. Do you two want to come help make the cake or go back to sleep?” Kurt asked, watching a Lorelei begrudgingly started to awaken.

Lorelei shook her head and sat up, disentangling herself from her twin. “Cake,” she murmured, pushing herself off the bed to land on unsteady feet.

Kurt chuckled and shook his head before reaching out to grab Willow and put her on the floor as well. He stood up and ushered all three of the kids out of the room, holding a finger to his lips and gently shushing them as they passed by his and Blaine’s bedroom.

Once in the kitchen Kurt helped all of the kids to wash their hands before getting out a mixing bowl, the ingredients, and the mixer, as well as pre-heating the oven. Normally, he’d make the entire cake by scratch but he figured the store bought box kind was better if three children were involved. He helped Lorelei open up the box and bag to pour the mix in the bowl before helping Willow to measure out the water and pour it in, doing the same with the vegetable oil.

Just as Kurt got out the eggs, ready to help Wyatt crack them, he heard a creak from the stairs. His head shot up and he picked the kids up off the stools and onto the floor. “Go hide in the laundry room, I’ll take care of Papa,” he said in a hushed tone.

Wyatt and the girls took off through the door that led to the laundry, small giggles coming from their mouths. Kurt chuckled and hurried over to the stairs, reaching the bottom of them at the same time Blaine did.

“What are you doing up?” Kurt asked, putting hands on both sides of the staircase so Blaine couldn’t pass.

Blaine ran a hand through his hair and stared back at Kurt. “What are you doing up?” he asked, trying in vain to peer around Kurt and see what was going on.

Kurt licked his lips and lifted his hands from the stairs to slide them up Blaine’s chest. “If you go back to bed right now and don’t ask any questions I promise to wake you up with a birthday blowjob,” Kurt said with a grin, his fingers tugging on Blaine’s sleep shirt.

Blinking back at Kurt, Blaine furrowed his brow. “Fine,” he sighed, rolling his eyes at Kurt’s triumphant smile. Kurt reached up and wrapped a hand around Blaine’s neck to pull him down for a kiss. “Good. I love you now go back to bed,” he murmured against Blaine’s lips.

Blaine murmured an “I love you” back before turning and heading back up the stairs. Kurt sighed and turned on his heel to get the kids from the laundry room.

“C’mon,” he laughed, seeing them all huddled together under the folding table. The kids crawled out from under the table and made their way back out into the kitchen, Kurt helping them up onto their stools.

Kurt helped Wyatt crack the eggs, impressed that no bit of shell fell into the mix, before taking over actually using the mixer by himself. He mixed it for a few minutes before pouring it into the pan and sliding it into the oven.

“Alright, you three,” Kurt said, turning to smile at the three now sleepy looking children sitting at the island, “Thank you for helping but it’s time for bed. We can ice and decorate the cake when Papa goes for his run tomorrow.”

He walked over and picked each kid up from their stool to press a kiss to their foreheads and set them down. They all murmured an “I love you, Daddy” before heading up the stairs to their respective rooms. Kurt plopped himself down on a chair at the small kitchen chair once they were all gone. He was there for a few minutes before Blaine rounded the corner, taking in the cake mix box and dirty dishes.

Kurt looked up and rolled his eyes, “You’re not getting that blow job now.”

Blaine chuckled and walked over, pressing a kiss to the top of Kurt’s head. “You and I both know that’s not true.

“Screw you.”

“Mm, later,” Blaine smirked, going to get himself a glass of water.

At least he had the decency to look scandalized when Kurt smacked his ass as he walked away.

These drabbles have all been really sweet. You've really captured both Kurt and Blaine's personalities very well. I'm enjoying this - hope there are more!
