“Daddy.”
With a big breath, Kurt lifted his arm from over his face and turned his head to the side to see one of his five year old girls standing there. Her hair and outfit were pristine despite the hour he sighed and couldn’t help but smile fondly. “Yes, Willow?” he asked, reaching his hand out to take her much smaller one.
“Where do babies come from?”
Kurt blinked back at her and licked his lips slowly. “What?” he asked, his brow furrowing slightly. Willow sighed in exasperation, she was so his daughter, and rolled her eyes slightly. “Where. Do babies. Come from?” she asked slowly.
Before Kurt had a chance to even formulate an answer his and Blaine’s seven year old son popped his head up over the back of the couch. “Aunt Rachel,” he said simply. Kurt turned his head and looked at Wyatt with a confused look.
“What?” the small boy asked, pushing his blonde hair out of his eyes, “That’s where they came from, isn’t it?” He gestured to Willow and across the room where he twin sister Lorelei was coloring. Kurt opened and shut his mouth a few times, trying to sort through his thoughts.
“Wyatt, go wash up for bed,” Blaine’s voice came from the kitchen.
Kurt sighed in relief as the boy started off down the hallway. Kurt looked back as his husband walked over. “He is so an Anderson,” Kurt said with a grin as Blaine leaned over and kissed Kurt’s forehead. Willow cleared her throat and crossed her arms over her chest. “What’d he mean Aunt Rachel?” she asked, eyes flicking between her fathers.
“Wills, go get your sister and go to your room. We’ll have a talk, alright?” Blaine said softly. Willow looked about ready to protest before Kurt fixed her with a look. “Go,” he said, pointing down the hall. She sighed and walked over to grab Lorelei’s hand and the two of them walked into their bedroom.
“So…” Kurt trailed off looking over at Blaine. Blaine laughed softly and shook his head. “You want to have this talk with them? They are technically your daughters,” Blaine suggested, leaning on the back of the couch with a grin.
Kurt scrunched up his nose before grinning, “Flip you for it?”
