Blaine was slightly panicking. Kurt wouldn’t answer his phone. He was not at breakfast and he was not in his room this morning. Wes and David had not seen him either. Maybe he has gone back home to see his father before the road trip this weekend for the spring break. Pulling out this phone he dialled Mercedes number,
“Hello?” answered a slightly tiered voice.
“Hey Mercedes its Blaine.”
“Oh yeah hey Blaine. How are you?”
“I’m okay. Just slightly worried.”
“Why what is up?” she asked him. Concern evident in her voice.
“It’s kurt. I can’t find him. He was not at breakfast, I couldn’t find him in his room and he won’t answer his phone. It is like he has vanished.” Blaine said, chocking up a little.
“Hey okay blaine calm down. Classes have been cancelled today right due to staff illness?”
“Yeah. That’s what they said this morning.”
“Good at least he won’t be getting into trouble for skipping class. When things got bad for Kurt here he generally closed himself in somewhere open and not many people visit. He like to go to this little lake down by the school which hardly anyone knew about when the bullying got too tough or when his dad was in hospital and when it came near the anniversary of his moms death.” Mercedes said. Blaine was starting to get an idea where he might be.
“When did she die Mercedes?” Blaine asked quietly.
“July 10th 2001 kurt was only 8 at the time. People don’t think he can remember but he does.” She said sadly.
“He has been through so much. I wish I can be as brave as him.” Blaine sighed. “Thanks Mercedes I think I know where he is.”
“No problem. Look after him okay, and yourself.”
“Yeah bye thanks again.” Blaine ended the call. There was no doubt in Mercedes mind now that Blaine Anderson was in love with her little Kurt Hummel
Walking slowly Blaine moved down this familiar path. He remembered coming here a lot in his first two months or being at Dalton. When school work just got too much for him or he had a lot on his mind it was nice for him to come out here and relax. Just forget the world. Soon Blaine got to a point where he knew broke into a little garden with a bench and a couple of tree’s not many people knew about this place, which was sad as it was beautiful. Something caught Blaine’s attention. It was a voice. He recognised it easily and sat down next to a tree and listened.
Here we are now
everything about to change.
we face tomorrow
as we say goodbye to yesterday
a chapter ending
but the stories only just begun
the pages turning for everyone
So I’m moving on letting go holding on to tomorrow
I’ve always got the memories
While I figure out who I’m going to be
We might be apart but I hope you will always know
You will be with me where ever I go (where ever I go0
So excited
I can barely even catch my breath.
We have each other to lean on for the road ahead
this happy ending
it’s the start of all our dreams
and I know your heart is with me.
so I’m moving on letting go holding on to tomorrow
I’ve always got the memories
while I figure out who I’m gonna be
We might be part but I hope you will always know
you will be with me where ever I go (where ever I go)
Is time to show the world
we have got something to say
a funny thing about how we will never fade away
I know I will miss you but we will meet again someday
we’ll never fade away
So I’m moving on
Letting go holding on to tomorrow
I’ve always got the memories while I’m finding out who I’m gonna be
We might be apart but I hope you always know.
You will be with me
So I’m moving on
Letting go
Holding on to tomorrow
I’ve always got the memories while I’m finding out who I’m gonna be
We might be apart but I hope you always know
You will be with me
Where ever I go
Blaine had tears in his eyes when Kurt had finished singing. The boy’s voice did things to him. It brought down his walls quicker than anything in the entire world. “That was beautiful kurt.” He found himself saying. Suddenly a shocked Kurt stumbled in the tree and Blaine quickly ran and caught him when he fell out of the tree.
“Thanks.” Kurt said blushing not looking at Blaine and picking up his art supplies. When he bent over Blaine caught a look at Kurt’s ass in his jeans. No! Stop it you perv! Quit checking out Kurt when he was obviously upset. Still Blaine was a teenage boy.
“What are you staring at?” Kurt said once he stood up straight again.
“Oh erm…” you. Your ass. “Nothing. Just thinking. You did amazing on that song it was truly beautiful.”
“Thanks.” Kurt said blushing. “I have to go. Need to go back to Lima to get some stuff for the road trip.”
“Oh okay, well IL see you later then?” Blaine asked unsurely.
“You know you will.” He said with a smile. Kurt gave Blaine a hug and whispered “I hope you are happy.” Into his ear. Blaine shivered.
“What do you mean?” Blaine asked.
Kurt looked like he wanted to say something but stopped himself, “whoever he is, I hope he make you happy.” Blaine could see how Kurt’s eyes had grown hard and emotionless.
“Kurt wait!” But he was too late Kurt had already run off to his car. Growling in frustration he walked to his own car and drove to the lima bean. He needed coffee. Pronto.
