Author's Notes: Hey guys! I'd like to apologize for almost 2 weeks with no updates. life is hectic with assignments but I'm on break now so hopefully I'll have more time to write! Anyway thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy!EDIT: I saw a few second after updating that there was some werid codes in place of apostrophes and quotations but its fixed now hopefully.

Coffee With Kurt

"That was amazing!" Kurt said after glee was over, a smile the size of Russia on his face, "I never knew something like that could make me feel so confident!"

"Yeah, glee can do that to your", Blaine said dreamily. He was blown away by Kurt's audition. It was just more proof that Kurt Hummel was a true angel sent down to Earth. Blaine soon caught himself before his staring reached borderline creepy. "Um, how about that coffee now? We can take the bus there?" Blaine asked.

"Yeah, I could really use a coffee right now," Kurt admitted. They exited the school and headed straight for the bus stop. They waited for the bus and Kurt helped Blaine roll onto the ramp attached to the bus. The bus ride was spent in awkward silence, both boys having nothing much to say, not knowing much about the other to bring up anything.

They reached their stop and the boys exited the bus. They walked (or rolled in Blaine's case) to the Lima Bean. Kurt held the door open for Blaine and walked in line. Blaine decided to break the silence, "What's your coffee order?"

Kurt blinked out of his stupor, "Excuse me?"

"What's your coffee order?" Blaine asked with a little more confidence.

"Um, grande non-fat mocha," Kurt said, blushing a little bit. "What's yours?"

"Medium drip," Blaine revealed.

Kurt laughed. 'Wow he has a really cute laugh,"Blaine thought. "Really Blaine? I thought you would be a latte guy," Kurt said, "Something other than a medium drip!"

"Hey! Don't judge!" Blaine retorted. "It's still good coffee!"

"Yeah, whatever you say", Kurt said teasingly. Some clearing their throat interrupted their light banter.

"Excuse me next customer please!" an annoyed, shrill voice shouted.

"Sorry, I'm sorry," Blaine apologized as he rolled up to the counter, "One medium drip and one grande non-fat mocha and some biscotti please."

"Wait! Blaine! No, you don't have to pay for me!" Kurt nearly shouted.

"Oh, I insist. Kurt please let me" Blaine said with a kind smile.

They went to the other side of the counter to get their coffee, "Thank you Blaine. And not just for the coffee. Glee was amazing and it just made me feel so happy and-"

"Your're welcome," Blaine cut Kurt off. Kurt smiled. Blaine was just a bundle of happiness and joy that is just bouncing into Kurt's life. Kurt just hopes that he doesn't bounce out of it.

They went to one of the few wheelchair accessible tables in the coffee house. "So Blaine, tell me about yourself."

"Heh, what is this a date?" Blaine winked.

"Uh," Kurt stuttered, "N-no. I-it's not a d-date." Kurt looked down to stare at his now very interesting coffee. 'Shit! Kurt you're blushing! Tone it down a bit!'

Blaine giggled, "Hey, I'm just playing you. I'm Blaine Anderson. I'm a sophomore and leader of McKinley's glee club, the New Directions. But I really wanna get to know you, Mr. Kurt Hummel."

"Kurt Elizabeth Hummel. Originally from New York. I moved to Ohio when I was eight and I hope to move back to NYC after high school. I recently was at Carter High but I obviously left. Now here I am, new kid at McKinley," it was clear Kurt didn't want to indulge further so Blaine switched the subject.

"So what do you think of glee?" Blaine asked. As much as he'd like to help Kurt out and ask him about his not to subtle change in behaviour, he feels Kurt doesn't think he's that close to him yet to ask such personal questions.

"So New York huh? I'm planning on going there after grad too," Blaine admitted. "That NYADA school looks great."

"Yeah, I've been thinking about applying to NYADA. When I was little I used to always pass by it in wonder," Kurt said.

"Well Kurt Hummel," Blaine said as he took his last sip of coffee before putting the empty cup on the table, "I'm looking forward to seeing you in New York."

Kurt laughed, "Well if I get accepted that is."

"Are you kidding me?! Your audition today was breathtaking! I'm not surprised in NYADA is practically begging for you to attend their school."

"You're sweet," Kurt blushed, "Thank you Blaine. I've never has someone compliment me like that."

"You see now that's what got me surprised. You deserve a never ending amount of compliments," Blaine gushed.

Kurt nodded, "Thank you Blaine," he smiled. Kurt knew that what he had Blaine had was gonna become special. Although he would never admit it out loud or even to himself, he could see Blaine as a guy he could have a relationship with. Thought Kurt is pretty sure Blaine is straight (despite his friendly flirting) and Kurt does not want to go down that path of humiliation again. He's crushed on to many maybe-he's-gay guys just to have him rejected, broken hearted and sometimes worse. Kurt could settle for being just his friend. Could he?

After they finished with their coffees, they headed out of the Lima Bean and to the bus stop. They talked more about themselves and glee before the bus came. There was no awkward silence between them. It had vanished as soon as their conversation at Lima Bean started.

The bus came to a halt and Kurt declared it as his stop. Both boys didn't want to leave each other's presence but they knew they had little time before the bus took off again.

"I'll see you tomorrow Kurt," Blaine said then he took a chance and kissed Kurt on the cheek.

The kiss surprised Kurt, but he knew it wouldn't be nice to Blaine to start freaking out so he just smiled at Blaine. "See you Blaine," Kurt said and he got up and exited the bus as quickly as he could without it looking like he was running away from Blaine.

Once Kurt was outside and he couldn't see the bus anymore, he let out a huge smile. He started walking once he realized he was just standing there grinning at an open road. 'Oh yeah,'Kurt thought, 'Blaine's definitely gay.'Kurt is definitely gonna test this new information out, because maybe Blaine could be worth the heart ache.

End Notes: I don't know when the next update will be but I will try to write it very soon. :)PS. I've been pondering over a Burt/Kurt scene or a Cooper/Blaine scene for next chapter review to let me know what you think!
