Blaine fell asleep quickly after our shower, but it wasn't long before his nightmares took over.
He held on to me tight, his face flinching in fear and body quivering. I felt his anger and began to worry since he wasn't scared. He tangled his legs into mine as his dream increased his heart rate.
"Blaine," I tried to shake him awake but he didn't budge. "Blaine wake up." I tried again, he started mumbling pulling away from me.
"No. Go away. I don't want to kill you too." He groaned in distress. I sat up and took his hand but he pulled away from me again. "Please, I don't want to hurt you. If you love me you'll leave."
"Blaine wake up," I demanded.
"Just go!" He shouted.
"Blaine!" As soon as I touched his arm he shot up awake. "Relax you were dreaming." I said as he looked at me distraught.
"That wasn't a dream." He mumbled casting his eyes down, "it was too real to be a dream."
"What happen?" I asked but he shook his head no. I pulled him into my arms, "Blaine?"
"I'm the monster now," he said in a low voice.
"What are you talking about Blaine?" I asked slightly confused.
"I hurt you." He whispered. "It was me, not the faceless man or my father, it was me. Why would I kill you?" He said distressed. "It was just a nightmare. I'm fine, you didn't hurt me. Its over now Blaine." I assured him pulling him close to me.
We sunk back into the bed Blaine lying on my chest awake. "You're worry, Kurt." He said feeling my emotion. "I'm fine now."
"Okay, I'm suppose to worry about you Blaine. I love you." I pressed a kiss to the top of his head. He was silent for a moment just feeling confused and restless.
"I don't think I'm going to fall back asleep." He said honestly.
"Then don't. We can go to something." I glance at the clock reading 5:19.
"Nothing is open." Blaine mumbled running his finger tips over the muscles over my chest.
"In this town, we could always go to new York that city never sleeps." I said. He looked up at me thinking I was kidding.
"Really, Kurt?"
"Oh yeah, lets go spend the night in the big apple." A smile spread across Blaine's face that gave me chills.
"What should I wear to spend the night in New York?" He asked sitting up. His whole attitude and emotion changed to excited. "Put anything on, we'll go shopping there." I said. He jumped up with glee and planted a kiss over my lips.
"I'm so excited. I love you so much you're the best boyfriend ever!" He said getting out bed and walked to the door in his boxers before pausing and turning to me, "what about Rachel?"
I laughed, "what she doesn't know wont kill her." I smiled hearing Blaine laugh and step into her room. I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen pausing when I heard a phone vibrating. I walked into the living room and in the plant pot by the door Blaine's phone was ringing and on the verge of death. I picked it up and answered the call from his roommate Jeff.
"Hey Blaine I know its early I'm sorry." He started before I could say anything.
"Wait Jeff, its Kurt, Blaine's getting dressed, give me a minute to find him."
"Oh hey Kurt." He said. I walked into Rachel room and held the phone out to him. "You left this in one of Rachel fake plants. It's Jeff."
He rolled his eyes and answered. "What's up?" I leaned on the door and listened in.
"Hey Blaine, sorry its so early, the new parent sponsor president is an old alumni and he is coming Tuesday. We want to preform a song for him and we need to practice right away." Jeff said.
"I'm on my way out of town Jeff I can practice when I get back I guess." Blaine said sitting on the edge of Rachel's bed.
"The council figured you rushed out of school yesterday for a reason so they gave Nick the solo, but we still need you." He added.
"Of course, Nick is a perfect choice, I guess we can change flights," he looked up at me I nodded my head.
"We? Are you and Kurt going on a mini vacation?" Jeff asked.
"Yeah we are. I'll bring some coffee and be there in half an hour." Blaine said hanging up. "I take it you were listening?" He asked.
"Yes. We'll leave on the 8oclock flight." I said, "why was your phone in the plant?" I asked suddenly. He smiled and finished buttoning his shirt as he explained.
"I didn't want to be interrupted, I was going to leave it out side or even in the taxi cab but I took it in anyway."
"You are too silly." I said walking out.
