Author's Notes: Next chapter is my absolute FAVE!!!
I ran right into Kurt as I turned the corner. "What did you do?" He asked after giving me a quick look over.
"I just want to get out of this damn town." I said my anger levels cooling as Kurt's present relaxed me.
He nodded his head and walked over to the car he had been driving since we got our own loft. He opened the passenger door and I walked over and got in. In the side mirror I saw the monster asking me where are we going. I pushed the mirror so I wouldn't see the reflection at all.
"Blaine? Where are we going?" Kurt asked.
"Anywere, just drive." I said.
"I have an idea." He said with a sly smile and drove towards the freeway.
The car was quite at first, nothing but stupid morning talk show topics and phone pranks equally balanced with horrible modern pop music. I didn't mind it though, my mind was thinking about the covet.
Oliver Goldsmith once said, "The company of fools may first make us smile, but in the end we always feel melancholy."
I missed them already even if they would never accept me. I missed the last few months, before Kurt came but after I found control in animal blood. We would always have fun together, Marley was the best at getting reasons for us to be together. I loved Thursday night craft night the most, she made me a bracelet out of strings that I still wear around my ankle. And there was Ryder, he and I would always go see a football or basketball game whether it was high school or the Bulls we made it our thing. Hunter even joined in on some of the activities here and there.
And I thought I'd always have Alexia to talk to about anything. We were kindred spirits, or at least I though. So knew one thing could change everything.
When Kurt would talk to me about his vampire life when I was human he made it seem like time was so fast. And for every human month it was a vampire year. I feel like this year has been ten human years and like no matter what I do I'm always screwed.
"Where are we going?" I finally ask after three and a half hours of driving.
"Sebastian had a cottage that I happen to have a key too. I though we could use time away from everyone and everything." Kurt said. "We're almost there."
"Its fine, no rush." I said yawning.
"Sleepy?" He asked turning off the freeway.
"Yeah, I don't actually remember sleep in the last few days..." I said thinking it had been two days since last I slept.
"Well you can sleep when we get in, I'm going to look around, its been a long time since I looked through Sebastian's things." Kurt said like a kid who was home alone for the first time in months.
"Sounds good to me." I said yawning once more. He pulled around to a decent sized cottage with lots of window space.
Kurt walked up to the door and took my hand. "Do you want a tour?"
"A part of me does, but I don't want to see much because I don't to see inside of Sebastian's mind, I mean, he did kind of killed me." I said.
"Okay, well here is the bed room, I will be right around the corner in his office." He gave me a soft lingering kiss.
I smiled and walked into the bedroom sleep suddenly overwhelming me. I fell back into the bed and sighed, I wish I could go back to how it was when I was human.
I rolled over on my side and fell asleep right away. I felt someone sit on the bed but when I opened my eyes I wasn't in the cottage anymore. I recognized the room though, it was my bedroom.
I sat up and watched my father throw me down on the bed, "you cheated on the test?"
"No dad, I swear he looked over at my paper I didn't even notice." A younger version of myself stammered.
I remembered that night, I got suspended from Dalton after some kid was caught cheating off my test. Everyone was disappointed in me but I didn't do anything wrong.
I flinched watching the memory unfold, it had been so long since I had a dream about him. Michael left the room and there was nothing but the sounds of my cries echoing in the room.
I wanted to wake up I tried to snap out of it but I couldn't. I thought about shouting, maybe if Kurt heard me he'd come wake me. "Kurt!" I shouted and the younger me turned and looked at me.
"Don't bother. You're not screaming out there." He said in a cold voice.
"I don't get it...." I said, "what's going on?"
"I think its time you got in touch with your inner monster. I'm Micheal or you better know me as the man in the mirror."
I stood up in fear. "What the hell do you want?"
"I want out." He looked over to me, "I'm that feeling you get when you want someone to know how much pain you've put up with. The idea that moves the thought 'I wish you were dead.' I mean I did kill papa for you. And I threw Alexia in the sun. Its those moments when you lose control, I gain it. And now with all this succulent human blood in my body, I can over power you."
"No! I'm the one on control." I said taking a step back.
"Oh come on Blaine, we had so much fun in fort Wayne. Remember the gas station. Or better the bus full of hot beefy football players."
I shook my head, "just shut up!" I closed my eyes and tried hard to wake up.
"That's not working Blaine." He taunted me. I looked up at him and watched as he approached me. "I'm the one in control now. Sit down shut up, and watch me have some fun." He pushed me back and I fell waking up.
"Enjoy your nap?" Kurt said. I looked around and was confused as to where I was.
"I did, what did you do while I was sleep?" That's my voice but I'm not talking. I saw a light and rushed over to see it. Kurt was holding me kissing me but that wasn't me. It was Michael, he did it. He over powered me.
Kurt pulled away and looked at him, even he knew something was different, "are you okay?"
"I've never felt better." He smiled, Kurt nodded his head and took a step back.
"Rachel called me while you were sleep." He prompted.
"I don't care." Michael said standing up, "don't bother bringing that up again."
"You're kidding me." Kurt stood dumbstruck.
"No, I hate her. She made her choices months ago, this is me making mine. If I see her I'll kill her." he said coolly.
"Blaine!" Kurt exclaimed.
"And I'll kill anyone who gets in my way." He said walking around Kurt, "I'm hungry." He stated, I ran to the next mirror and watched Kurt stop him.
"Do you hear yourself right now? What is going on?" Kurt had his arm.
"I feel great for the first time in months, and I'm trying to remember why we got back together but I'm drawing blanks." He had such an arrogant tone saying things I never would. and Kurt slapped him then apologized.
I tasted the blood in his mouth, it gave me some hope that we were more connected then I thought. Michael looked at Kurt, "we're done here."
"No!" I shouted. I started banging on the mirror. He walked out the leaving Kurt baffled.
I was pulled away as he left placed in another black hall with lights in small scattered areas. I wanted to stay and get Kurt's attention but I had no hope of fixing this.
I saw Michael walking around looking for something but It wasn't until he walked into Hunters favorite food bank I knew what he was going to do.
"Please don't, these girls have done nothing wrong." I pleated. He looked at me and shook his head.
"That's the fun of it all. These blood whores don't understand just what it means to be fed on. We can show them." He gave me a sly smile, "care to join me?"
"Never in a million years." I hissed. He shrugged and walked over to a chair and slammed it to the ground breaking it in to prices.
"Step one, kill the other vampires in the bar." He picked up the legs and walked upstairs I closed my eyes but here's the gargling screams and smelt the ashes as all the vampires who ran the bar were brutally murdered.
Michael came down the stairs wiping the ashes off his hands. "That was easier then I thought." He smiled and opened the feeding room door, "step two, dine in the best blood Chicago has." His eyes grew black and his fangs came out. I looked threw the mirror above the door and cringed as he ripped one girl. One by one the others woke and screamed thinking the other vampires would save them but instead Micheal would rip their tongues out.
By the end of it the whole bar was a bloody mess. Body parts everywhere I looked and Michael sitting at the end of the hall.
He let out a roar of a laugh, "that was so good!" He stood up wobbling over to me like he was drunk. "Now, you can tell they are blood whore, they don't taste nearly as good everyday humans." He put his bloody hand on the mirror, "what do you say we go to a real bar, in almost happy hour."
"No, look at this! Look at what you did! I don't want to be apart of this of you. I'd rather die." I said turning my back to him.
"Fine," he said starting to walk away, "Ooo, do you smell that? Of course not, I'm in your body. I tell you, its floral with a woodsy musk, you can smell all the hair spray."
"Kurt?" I ran to look at another mirror .
"Ding ding ding! We've got a winner!" He said in a game show host voice. "You know, if you die, he dies too." He smiled as the doors began to open. "Better, if you even think of killing me, well us, I will kill him."
"Don't lay a finger on him." I warned.
"Or what?"
"Blaine?" I looked over at Kurt and saw him covering his nose and mouth gagging at the scents in the air.
"Do you mind, I'm trying to enjoy some blood whores." He said standing at the door.
"How many vampires did you kill?" He asked looking to the stairs.
"Lost count, there was a party last night I'm guessing." He said in a cocky tone.
"Go Kurt, get out of here before he kills you." I said.
"You can't kill vampires Blaine, not unless you want a bounty on you're head for the rest of your existence." He shouted.
"There are no witnesses, except you. You wont tell would you? I don't want to kill you too." Michael said. "I'm setting this place on fire, you can join me if you'd like."
"What happened between this morning and now?" Kurt asked.
"I'm free." Michael said. He ran behind the bar and grabbed liquors and started opening tops and throwing them around.
"Stop it now Blaine." Kurt ordered.
"You're not my maker, I don't have to listen to you." He laughed and started spraying the beer around the bar. "I'm released! I don't have to listen to any fucking body!"
Kurt looked at the mirror behind the bar and saw something, I doubt it was me but what ever it was he ran to Micheal and twisted his neck, it wasn't much longer until everything went black on my side as well.

I opened my eyes and saw the ceiling to our loft in Chicago. My neck hurt so bad and I was so full I could puke. It all rushed back to me and I snapped up looking around. I was back in my body but I couldn't find a mirror to know if Michael was in his place. Kurt was sitting in the corner waiting for me to wake and when he did he started at me with a hard face.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," I started crying, "I didn't do any of that. I don't even know how to explain any of it."
"Why did your reflection change at the bar?" Kurt asked.
"Because the monster, the ripper, that thing inside me, its name is Michael, and he is my dark side. When I do things I don't want to or don't remember doing its him controlling my body. I only ever see him in mirrors but since I fed he was strong enough to take full possession of my body. So I was screaming for him to stop in the mirror and you must have saw that." I tried to explain but I didn't even believe what I was saying. "You don't believe me do you?"
"I do, Blaine, I believe you. I just wish I could help you." He said. "I'm going to make some phone calls."
I just started crying again to afraid to sleep I lied away thinking of ways I could die.
