Rachel stared at me, her eyes hard lips pursed in a tight line, "what do you mean?"
"I can fix Blaine. I met a witch a few months ago and she know what's wrong with him." I explained but Rachel shook her head.
"Stop. Just stop. What honestly do you think is going to happen, Kurt? She's gonna wave her wand and suddenly he's not going to be hungry? Yes, he is a ripper, but Blaine is also a new born and they kill anyway. You're wasting you time with this fix nonsense. I'm going to get him on a blood regiment and teach him how to control his appetite so instead of four dead bodies a night its just one." She said with a hostile tone.
"No Rachel, he's not a ripper you weren't there."
"I wasn't there?" She cut me off, "Kurt you have no idea how much I wasn't there. I, not once, felt his sorrow and agony after the mass murders in fort Wayne and Chicago. Or felt the burn and near death feeling when he was poisoned. And don't even get my started on the day he tried to kill himself!" She shouted. "I woke up screaming I fell like I was on fire. And you run into the house. He is mine, I know and the sheer thought of you and some witch trying to fix him makes me sick. Because I'm going to feel it, and if it doesn't work then I'm the one picking up the pieces."
"Rachel listen, please." I asked softly, "he's got a split personality, and it split the day he was turned. This wasn't what he want so he created a personality Michael. The witch can separate the two."
"You know how horrible that sounds?" She asked. "I refuse to be a part of this. Finn and I are going to teach Blaine the thing you should have been doing in Chicago."
"He wont. If he has human blood he will turn into Michael." I told her but she was walking towards the door.
"Fine. And if this is a DID maybe I should have a little chat with the other vampire." She said walking back down stairs to the bar.
I was so flustered with her change of attitude, I assumed this was something she would support and be as excited about. I sat at the desk and opened the letter scanning it over before reading it.
From what you have told me about Blaine and his ripper personality, Michael, I am sure an accident happened during the transition. I came to this conclusion though many reasons, firstly vampires become rippers after their 3rd and 4th years not days . Secondly he was never prepared or forewarned of the transition. You told me he had premonitions about this monster before he was ever turned, that was the persona of the vampire he pictured in his head before the change. A monster strong enough to kill his father and so out of control he would kill his best friend. Lastly, he can see this split, he lets it control him if he slips up and hurts someone. Honestly Blaine was never meant to live as a vampire, his fear of them and child Hood trauma shows he really should have stayed in the dark of the whole supernatural world.
So fixing him will be more of a internal and mental procedure then physical.
I was reading though my family's spell books and this happened almost 100 years ago with my great grandmother. She wasn't strong enough and she did not complete the spell but I have been told I'm a lot stronger then her and I'm not worried.
This also means I will need to pull a lot of magic to fix him, that's what the money is for, I'm getting a cabin in Albany and I need to meditate and prepared. We need to do this next full moon but not tomorrows obviously, I doubt we can be prepared by then. I can get everything else with the money you gave and I need you to get Blaine's makers blood, and a human to sacrifice. I also need bones of a supe, werewolf would be best but anything works.
I will contact you again in two weeks, please keep Blaine alive.

I read the letter over three times shocked as to just what Mercedes gathered from the few times we spoke. The things she requested weren't bad, I had no idea how to get the bones of a wolf without pissing someone off. And after Rachel's out burst I doubt she will simply hand over her blood. Blaine would be upset no matter who the sacrifice was.
I head the door open and quickly folded the letter up. Blaine peeked thought the door, "I was wondering where you ran off to."
"Sorry. I was going back down." I stood up and met him at the door.
"Okay." He said leading the way back down to the bar. Finn and Rachel were sitting at a large table with a group of people.
"Are you going back on stage or did you want to sit?" I asked.
"I'm in no mood to talk." He muttered. "any request?"
"Brittany spears." I said with a smile. He rolled his eyes and kissed my cheek walking back to the stage. I wasn't sure how mad Rachel was at me so I walked to the bar to talk with Santana.
"What kind of drinks do you have?" I asked smiling as music filled the bar.
"Alcohol and Pepsi products. Rachel refuses to serve blood because it pulls away from the supernatural theme and focus on the vampire owner." Santana said. "But I have a lot of great drinks, and anything you can get in the real world you can get here."
"I'll just have a Pepsi and rum." I said. I glanced over my shoulder and looked again at the group Rachel was with. "Who are they?" I asked as Santana gave me the beverage.
"Rachel's friends? I don't know much, she treats me like crap most the time so I don't bother. But to her right that's Noah and Jake, they are brothers turned together and Finn is besties with Noah. Then the blonde boy, he is Sam the bartender when I'm not working. He's cute but not all there, world war 2 turn, his maker is dead. Then Brody is Rachel's friend. They did a musical together back in the ninety's. Lastly that is Jesse, he is co owner of midnight sun and is a werewolf."
"That's quite exciting." I saw dully.
"Why aren't you over there?" She asked.
I looked at her and sighed, "I don't know if its the fact that you are a bartender or that you helped me kill Sebastian but I want to tell you everything...." I shrugged.
She laughed, "its the bartender of me. What's going on?"
"Rachel and I are fighting about Blaine." I said. "I want what's best for him, and she isn't listening to me."
"Just like a woman." Santana said pouring two shots. She slid one to me and took the other. I took the shot and shook my head.
"Is Blaine playing oops I did it again?" Santana asked.
"Yes, yes he is." I looked at him and smiled. I knew I could fix him. It was going to be tricky but I could do it.
