Six weeks had passed since Blaine and Kurt started dating, the musical sold out each night and Blaine couldn’t be happier. His average day included sneaking into empty classrooms to make out with Kurt, eating lunch in the cafeteria. He and Rachel became closer to everything was going swell in his classes.
At lunch Kurt and Blaine sat at the front table cuddled up together. “I should go see Cooper, it is his day.”
“Okay,” Kurt hugged Blaine and kissed him, “come over after school.”
“Of course.” Blaine stood up and hustle down to his brothers class.
He walked in and Cooper was grading papers. “Are you lost?” Cooper said.
“Funny,” Blaine said sitting down. “What’s the latest gossip?”
“You don’t have to come see me any more Blaine. Its fine you know. I get it you’re popular now, a seat at the front of the table, you don’t have to leave that every other day to see me. I’ll see you at home.” Cooper said.
“I want to Cooper. I'm never home, school might be the only place I see you.” Blaine said hurt that his brother felt like that.
“Its fine, besides, the English teacher told me to go hang out with him and Will, I think I’ll take him up on that offer.” Cooper said.
“Okay then. Well I guess I’ll see you at home…” Blaine said. He walked to theater just in time for the bell to ring. The rest of the day Coopers words got to him. Since he and Kurt started dating Blaine did see less and less of Cooper. He wasn’t worried about it because Cooper never said anything. Even when he was with Kurt that afternoon he was worried maybe he and Kurt were to close to fast.
“I hate acoustic. I mean I love the bells and whistle all the people in the ensemble. I don’t know. Its like small parties, there is no privacy in acoustic music.” Kurt said as they sat on his bed going through sheet music for tomorrows assignment. The Peer teaching class was a lot easier now, they only met one Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
“Its my favorite,” Blaine said.
“Oh I love hearing you sing acoustic, but you can play 4 instruments, and you’re a tap dancer,” Kurt said.
“Well I haven’t even decided what to sing. I want to play guitar cause I almost never do that.” Blaine said.
Kurt kissed him, “I’m sure I can help inspire a song.”
“You’re brother just got home.” Blaine said as the door slammed shut and what sounded like a baby elephant climbed the stairs.
“So much for sex, it must be 5 you should probably head home.” Kurt said.
Cooper wasn’t home when Blaine got there and Blaine fell asleep before Cooper even came home. That morning Blaine actually started to worry he might be losing his brother.
Blaine never did pick a song so he got to sit back and watch Sam and Ryder sing. Marley sung the next song and since the class started she was getting much much better. Santana and Brittany sang Landslide together to guitar. Blaine loved hearing Brittany sing, she didn’t do it often but when she did he loved it.
Rachel was up next. She sat at the piano called Brody to the stage. They did a beautiful duet of Demi lovatos hit Give Your Heart A Break(
Watch) Finn stormed out of the auditorium as soon as Carmen said the words to dismiss the students.
“Lets skip English have a quickie in the library.” Kurt said pulling Blaine close.
“The way you moan we couldn’t even get started before we were caught.” Blaine said, “I do want to skip English though.”
“I can show you the glee vault, when are you going to join?” Kurt asked. They walked towards the library as Blaine answered Kurt’s question. “I don’t know. I almost died being in the play on top of all the school work and on top of you.”
Kurt laughed and pulled Blaine into one of the rooms in the library. There was a movie setting and three desk off to the side, all surrounded by files of videos and DVDs.
“I thought you did great!” Kurt said softly walking to the desk to set his things down and pulled a file.
“So last year we did original songs for regionals and nationals.” Kurt said he wrapped himself in Blaine’s arms as they watched the 20 minute video compilation from Kurt’s junior year.
“Impressive. But I have seen you all dance on tables in libraries, in that court yard.” Blaine said making Kurt laugh.
“We have a New York themed melody planned today. You can join at any moment.” Kurt said kissing him. “Honestly though, The glee club has come a long way since my freshman year and the first year ever. At our sectionals, we sung a journey melody.” Kurt said with a smile on his lips.
“Wait I remember that you guys were still called the singsations. Sebastian and I were laughing so hard that day. You all were so serious about that. It was your first performance.” Blaine said.
“Wait, Sebastian Smythe?” Kurt got very serious suddenly.
“You know Seb?” Blaine asked.
“Boys do you have passes?” The library walked in and Kurt stood up.
“Sorry, we were just leaving.” Kurt said putting the glee file away. Blaine knew something was wrong and when they got to the hall he smiled at Kurt.
“What’s wrong?”
“When did you go to Dalton? He asked.
“My freshman year, why?” Blaine answered.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” Kurt asked ignoring his question.
“I thought it was common knowledge around here. Everything else is.” Blaine said growing defensive. “Why does it matter Kurt?”
“Sebastian is my ex,” Kurt said, “are you two still friends?”
“Yes, hes a friend... actually he is the only person who still talks to me from Dalton. I was excommunicated after what I did.” Blaine said.
The bell rang and the halls got flooded as a dance number began. “shoot!” Kurt said, “hold my bag, I’m in this, we aren’t done talking meet me outside court yards, that’s where this ends.” Kurt said and ran to catch up. Blaine stood flabbergasted confused as one could be.
