"Will you come with me to record?" Blaine asked when he assumed Kurt was awake.
"Do you need be too?" Kurt asked. Jim was not only Blaine’s producer but also his pusher. He didn't officially take title drug dealer he only gave to Blaine, a mutual agreement Kurt still doesn't understand.
"Yes, just in case," Blaine said stopping his hand on the small of Kurt’s back.
"Yes I will be there then, but I have a meeting with Better Homes and Gardens, at 3 it wont be more then an hour." Kurt assured Blaine.
"Okay," Blaine scratched his chin. "Every thing is so cold now." He joked.
Kurt looked up at him. "I'll warm you up," Kurt promised pressing several kisses leading to Blaine’s delectable mouth.
Blaine and Kurt took separate car to Gnecco records. Upon their arrival Music Now was putting cameras around the studio. Blaine and Kurt walked in hand in hand and were bombarded by Serria White.
"Its a pleasure to finally meet you Mr. Anderson. I'm a huge fan," she shook Blaine’s hand with a wide smile then turned to Kurt, "hello," shaking Kurt’s hand as well.
"This is my fianc Kurt," Blaine said to Serria.
"Its a pleasure to meet you, lets take a few candid shots preparing in the studio." Serria led them to the studio where the photographer took pictures while they greeted Jim and Blaine going into studio. Kurt sat in a producer chair next to Jim while Music now went into the studio with Blaine to begin the interview.
Jim turned the speakers on to hear what was going on in the studio. "Hey music fans, its Serria White here with a very special treat, multi platinum recording artist Blaine Anderson." Serria said into the camera.
Blaine smiled melting Kurt’s heart, "hey."
"It’s been 7 years," Serria announced.
"This is true," Blaine smiled agreeing.
"What brings you back?"
Blaine pondered the question, " well I haven't been actually gone, and I did work on some rather dark stuff. And I produced Quinn Fabrey's, a good friend of mine, EP Nicest Thing, about 3 years ago. In all honest I never stopped working I just stopped sharing." Blaine clarified.
"I see, well what can we expect from this album have you picked a title yet?" Serria crossed her legs.
"I'm not sure on the name maybe Coming Clean, that's the first track, basically this is just the album of all those forgotten song. Today MN is getting Coming Clean and Darling. But I've got quite a few songs ready."
"Now darling was leaked only 30 seconds but god that was a powerful song."
"Thank you, it has been tweaked since, but the concept stays the same."
"What about coming clean?"
"That I wrote the other day just about being honest with my self and to others. Basically I'm just coming clean," Blaine smiled.
"Can you tell us what else is on the CD?"
"I'm doing a john Lennon cover of cold turkey, and a song I wrote last year about my brother What I Wouldn't Give. That's all the spoilers on the CD I'm giving."
"Are you dedicating the album to your brother cooper?"
"Yes, cooper was stronger then I'll ever be, I miss him a lot, but all of that is in what I wouldn't give." Blaine gave a soft smile.
"You and your long time partner are engaged correct." Serria looked to the producer wall.
"Yeah, I'm excited, it will be this upcoming fall. I actually really want him to sing a song with me." Blaine also turned to the producers.
Jim pushed a button and let Kurt answer back. "Sure, I'll do a song with you."
"Yes," Blaine joked doing the golfer victory arm movement.
"Lets go ahead and video tape coming clean, then some of the fans will tweet questions in to Music Now." Serria smiled cutting the cameras. Blaine left the studio into the producer room.
Jim started right away with the jokes, "Blaine I'm not going to lie the beard was growing on me, literally." He laughed scratching his goatee. Blaine shook his head and stood over Kurt’s chair with his arm draped over Kurt, his hands feeling Kurt’s rhythmic heart beat.
"I had to clean it up for the interview," Blaine said. Jim laughed and shook his head digging around his pocket to retrieve his ringing cell phone.
"Gnecco records this is Jim." He said as he walked out of the room. Blaine occupied his rather warm seat and scooted next to Kurt, their knees touching.
"So what song do you want to sing with me?" Blaine asked broadening his smile.
"I wrote something a while ago just my thoughts, its your album so if you don't like it you don't have to play it."
Blaine leaned into Kurt’s space and uttered, "There is nothing you can make that I wont like," Kurt leaned in to kiss Blaine softly.
Blaine pulled away, "except artichokes those gross, I don't know how you can eat that all the time." Kurt laughed and hit Blaine’s leg. Blaine wrapped his hands around Kurt’s neck and gave him a lingering kiss, which was interrupted by Serria, "we are ready for you Blaine."
Blaine pulled away but Kurt growled and Blaine whispered "your libido is way to high these days," Blaine turned and walked out of the room leaving Kurt with a wide smile. Jim came into the room and sat back watching Blaine strap on a guitar.
"This is the first record on the track, Coming Clean," Blaine said, he waited for the thumbs up from Jim before strumming his guitar softly. "I'm a coward. I hide behind all of these delicate lies that I sing, but I'm trying to come clean." Kurt sat up straight to listen closer to Blaine’s lyrics. " I'm so lonely. Surrounded by people that know me, but don't know a thing. So I'm trying to come clean. And every relationship I've ever been in has fallen apart at the seams. I'm just afraid I've been singing about love, But I'll never find out what it means. And if I were honest about what the problem is, I'd have to admit that it's me. I'm just trying to live up to all that you want me to be." "I'm a liar. I sing pretty things, but I never quite say what I mean. So I'm trying to come clean. I’m so sorry. I know that I can't take it back No I can't change a thing. So I'm trying to come clean. And every relationship I've ever been in has fallen apart at the seams. I'm just afraid I've been singing about love, But I'll never find out what it means. And if I were honest about what the problem is, I'd have to admit that it's me. I'm just trying to live up to all that you want me to be."
"Blaine is just raw talent, if I can just have pieces of him to sprinkle on my other artist id be in great shape." Jim told Blaine and Serria.
"Can I quote you on that?" Serria asked.
"Sure thing sweetheart." Jim said. He pressed the red button again.
"Lets do it one more time B, and you're sliding your fingers to heard, I can hear it in playback." Blaine nodded and started over again.
